All of you ignorant Nigerians are that commenting in support of Israel are only religiously motivated. Anything Israel does is okay but if Arab or Muslim country does it you say it is terrorism. The QUR'AN calls the region now occupied by Israel is Al-Ard Al-Muqaddasah which describes the entire region. But Quds (Jerusalem) is the center of Al-Ard Al-Muqaddasah(holy Land). In the holy Land there is Aqsa. Aqsa is the entire compound with three mosques. The famous image of Jerusalem you see all the time is Aqsa compound. Aqsa is mentioned in the Quran chapter 17 verse 1.


So all the three names are mentioned in the Quran by name, namely:

1. الأرض المقدسة Al-Ard Al-Muqaddasah (Holy Land)

2. القدس Quds (Jerusalem)

3. Aqsa الأقصى‎ (Aqsa mosque)

All these three are mentioned in the Quran. So stop looking for 'Palestine'. The British changed the name because they can not pronounce original Arabic name and they chose biblical name, Palestine. Palestine is in the Bible to make it look as if the region belongs to the Jews and Christians. They changed the names of the majority of the cities in the holy Land.
