But really,I understand u perfectly. You see,oftentimes we come across people who are very exploitative in nature.

They capitalize on your perceived weaknesses to achieve their own goals and usually, melancholies are their victims,because they(Introverts/Melancholies/Phlegmatics) find it difficult saying the two-letter-word, 'NO'.

For instance, Melancholies can go all out to render financial assistance to People even when they themselves are not having enough to cater for their needs...just because they don't want to hurt their 'friends'.

But, are these 'Friends' really 'Friendly'?.... Exploitation(Attempted or successful) from such category of people makes you see who your real friends are...and u would be able to seive friends from mere acquitances pretending to be friends.

In short, real friends wont exploit you because of your perceived 'weakness', they wont make u feel guilty for saying NO, rather, they would genuinely respect ur stance/decision and this would make you feel real good inside.

So, your 'new' method is okay . When next someone requests for something,and sparing such would bring some level of discomfort don't hesitate to say NO..this, u can do bluntly, indirectly or diplomatically, but you must be Sincere....

Let me add some other traits you didn't remember to mention; You don't like being taken for granted,just as u DON'T take people for granted. You cherish sincerity because you are also very faithful and trustworthy too. You are conscientious. You prefer issue-based 'talks' rather than mundane conversations.... When you talk,u could be brutally frank...You're more of a thinker than talker!......

This is just Me! The worst part is the part where I'm taken for granted, it hurts like hell which is why I almost blinded my classmate in JSS 2. I thank God I'm beginning to let go of bitterness, I nearly destroyed the girl's life which if I did I wouldn't have forgiven myself.

For now my method is never say YES always, for instance my roommate asked for my laptop to watch movies yesterday and I told her I also need it for a movie (I actually needed it for a movie) so I can't give it out. The normal me wouldn't mind giving it out, I mean it's mine and the movie is there for me to watch any other time but NO you just have to put up some resistance for them to know that hey! Someone is actually in there.

It kind of doesn't feel comfortable being who you are not but people just have to know their boundaries with you and if you don't create one they are ever ready to override you. They will think "after all she's quiet", what they don't get is she's quiet doesn't mean she's Stupid.

Why do people always think introverts are either proud, snubs or malicious. The worst part is that I can't start explaining myself to people that would end up either misunderstanding or not believing me.

This generation really needs redemption, the way threads about boyfriend and girlfriend makes front page is alarming and to see us the so called leaders of tommorow brag about fornication makes one wonder what the tommorow we ought to lead would be like. Not to say the way we idolize our so called celebs who deny Christ in all ramification from their words to their actions, their lifestyle and dress code(you can take for instance the unclothedness they displayed in the recent BET awards), i still wonder what is being celebrated in them, they have lovely voices but they don't use it to the glory of God rather they sing and rap about immorality. It's high time we call a spade a spade, if we call ourselves Christians then please we should be Christians indeed and let all that nameth the name of God depart from iniquity.

Maybe you should calm down and reread my post(that's if you did before quoting me).

I said 'one of the main things' and not 'the only thing' so I don't in anyway insinuate that all shy people are masturbators so please calm down and try to assimilate my previous post before calling the name of God in vain.

One of the main things that leads to extreme shyness and low self-esteem is masturbation. If you are involved in such or watching porn pls keep off it destroys both psycologically and spiritually.

That being said, try to be less self-conscious, focus your attention more on things happening around you than on yourself. Try to free yourself more around your peers but don't let them influence you negatively, compliment people around you on their clothes, achievements and on occasions like their birthdays.

Don't let anyone convince you that joining a cult or getting a girlfriend will make you flow with the flow, trust me if you have a brighter focus in life then these things will compound your problems because you seem to be a very sensitive person.

My advice is, make God your friend, draw closer to him and he will draw closer to you, study his word steadily and ask him for the grace to overcome your fears because if you don't tackle this problem now you might loose many opportunities in life as a result of it and pls don't overlook this, it's not something you can just outgrow.

I've used it once but i don't really recall how much I bought it, it's not upto 500 naira though.

I don't know how that works but it definitely does work, all you need is just a pinch of salt and u're eye is cleared, still trying to figure out the connection btw the pepper/salt, eye/mouth stuff. My grandma taught me this.

Everyone hair is different and not everyone has so thick and dense hair. If your hair is not full, twist might not be for you. Fluffed out styles might be better for your hair type.

I did mini twists on my natural hair and it's really scanty, it's not as full as I expected or as I see on the internet, guess it's due to my hair texture which is soft to a fault and not so full.

Thinking of redoing it though, maybe a micro-mini twist this time so it would at least cover my scalp.
