Family / Re: 'Fear Woman: The Adulterous Wife' - Obituary Poster In Delta State (photo) by EmpressT(f): 11:09pm On Mar 10
You're right. This incident happened to my friend's mum's brother in Delta State. The man is late due to the infidelity of his wife. His wife prepared food for him, he ate it and died on the spot. Traditions that forbid women cheating on their husbands attracts severe consequences which will result to the death of the husbands. What a pity. cry

Husbands of cheating women don't last. I have seen it happen.

Thank God for your testimony. May to the Lord perfect his grace upon your life and uphold you till the end in Jesus mighty name -AMEN.

Kingpele:
God help me too ,I believe your testimony ma ,my own was alcohol, for years after giving my life to Christ ,I was still drinking beer ,thinking as long as I wasn't very drunk ,am good ,it cos the church i attend doesn't preach it as sin and for me I don't see it as sin .but God dealt with me concerning it ,I kept dreaming where God is telling me to quit drinking, then I came to believe that God was on it ,when my cousin that lives in South South called me one day telling me that he dreamt where God was telling me to stop drinking alcohol..I had to struggle my way out of it by God's grace, so is possible for God to tell someone to quit even some things that seems ok to humanity, I don't know why but he is God

Family / Re: Have You Ever Found Yourself Emotionally Attached To Your Siblings' Children? by EmpressT(f): 9:46pm On Jun 21, 2023
God mothers/ parents take special care in taking responsibility for the upbringing and spiritual growth of a child. They have special responsibility to make sure that child is well taken care of by his biological parents and also in making sure that child is well developed in the things and ways of God so as not to become miserable I have the society. I for instance I'm a God mother to the children of my younger siblings because I am the first born. I always make sure they're well treated and cared for. I always intercede in prayers for them and their future. I also teach them about God, his ways and life. I sing and play songs/ movies that enlighten them about who they are in Christ. I take them as my own children regardless of whether they have a parent or not. I chastised them if any misconduct is found in them. I tell them to be free with me in any matter. I make sure I become their best friend, confidant. Alot to do as a God mother my sister.

Samantha124:
But you haven't answered my question.

What is a God mother's responsibility in general? Because I don't know.

Family / Re: Have You Ever Found Yourself Emotionally Attached To Your Siblings' Children? by EmpressT(f): 3:55pm On Jun 21, 2023
I understand your point. It's because you don't know who I am and what I can do to save lives. The passion I have for children is the same I have for animals.
When you meet people in reality, you will actually know if they claim what they are or not.
Samantha124:
What actually is a God mother's responsibility? Because I've seen people claiming to be Good mothers, but not even being close to the children.
Family / Re: Have You Ever Found Yourself Emotionally Attached To Your Siblings' Children? by EmpressT(f): 3:45pm On Jun 21, 2023
Yes! Very deep. I am their God mother. I love them exactly as I would love my own children.

Samantha124:
This is the issue I have, I find myself being emotionally attached to my nephews and nieces.. I think them and I have this special bond to a point that most of them also feel comfortable opening up to me.

This past weekend my nephew was taken to an initiation school, I just had to travel all the way from Durban to Polokwane just to see him before he leaves... The last time I left home the relationship between me and my mom wasn't going so well, but my father managed to talk to me and asked that I forgive her even though it's not easy... I was able to put everything aside for the sake of my nephew because I wanted to see him before he leaves for the initiation school.

Those who may wonder what an initiation school is, it's a cultural school whereby kids who are about to enter puberty, or are already in puberty are taken in order to be taught cultural virtues and principles of transitioning from childhood to teenhood.

His mother brought him to the family house on Saturday afternoon, I spent the entire afternoon gisting with him and he was nervous about the whole thing of going to an initiation school... I had to calm him down.. They were already late because other kids had left with their guardians to the mountains in the morning... My mother then called the royal house to make some inquiries and she was told that they could bring the child the following morning which was Sunday.

The following morning my parents and my sister along with my nephew left for the royal house in the village, the boy's father met them there and from there, the boy and the father were taken to the mountains, where the boy will stay with the others for four weeks.

The father just wanted to drop his son in the mountains and leave afterwards, but he was told that he must be around for at least 2 days to make sure that his son is well settled.

It was so difficult seeing him leave and I couldn't hold my tears, he's just so adorable and I sometimes wonder if he'll be able cope with the living conditions in the mountains for four weeks.

I remembered of how he talked about wanting a PlayStation when he visited the family house back in December, so I bought a PlayStation 5 for him as his graduation gift from the initiation school, they'll be having a party at his home when he returns, but I won't be able to go because of the protection order I have against his father... I gave the gift to my sister for her to give it to him.

The relationship between his father and I may not be good, but I love the boy so much like he's my own.

My other brother in law has also talked of how his children look up to me... grin grin grin

So I'd like to know if you guys have also found yourself emotionally attached to your siblings' children.

Fashion / Re: What's Your Opinion About Women With Multiple Piercings? Especially On... by EmpressT(f): 2:51pm On Jun 21, 2023
As a lady, I feel disgusted by seeing women with multiple or little piercing. That nose piercing disgusts me most because when a woman squeezes, the mucus go hang on the rings. I can't look straight into their eyes cos my eyes go look into their irritating nose. I don't see beauty in this.

Romance / Re: Dated For 4 Years, No Sex, I'm Tired by EmpressT(f): 9:04pm On Aug 04, 2021
You want to have sex with a lady who refused by force? Prepare to die onto her and find yourself straight to hell. Very blunt right? I believe you are seeing stories of people dying on top of their sex partners because of discontentment.

It shows that you are not a real man but a dog expecting sex in return. You need to get your act together and look on the bright side. Premarital and extramarital sex have drown glories to dust. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord ~ Romans 6:23.

Fleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee from the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. Flee that you may not pay dearly with your life.

The ball is in your court.

Nehemiahjnr:
There is this girl I dated till last year before I got tired of everything.
She is always willing to come to my house or any place I invite her buh won’t allow sex, we will be dragging like someone that is dragging land in the village, struggle for hours buh she no go still gree and me I don’t want to force her.

When I ask her what happened she won’t say anything or sometimes will say stuff like AM AFRAID due to my past experiences.

Am tired of the relationship sef.
Money wey I don spend just Dey pain me and I don’t want to force somebody oo.

What should I do?
Romance / Re: Reasons Why Having A Girlfriend Is Good For You . by EmpressT(f): 10:05pm On Feb 20, 2020
Most relationships are built on sex, sex and sex. Being single is the best as long as you aren't feeling lonely. Invest in yourself and make yourself happy, then the right person who's meant for you will walk in. Be patient, be persistent, be brave, be loving and above all be prayerful.

Romance / Re: Ladies, Can You Date A Guy That Is Younger Than You? by EmpressT(f): 3:48pm On Feb 15, 2020
For a while now, I have been friends with a guy who's much younger than I. And he seems very good looking, mature, kind, intelligent and industrious. I got his first kiss and I was so much in love with him. We are never in a relationship and I am afraid that we might hurt each other because I am not sure if we would last.
I will advice that whatever suits you best, go for it.

Office cleaner with BSC? Why then did you go to school?
You sound like you are giving up but you don't have to.

I believe with accounting you can teach accounts in secondary school etc.
