Uniquexty: I'm on iton? |
This is a real story of a young ex-Unilag girl who passed away last month. Her name was Lola. She was hit by a car at Y'ello junction on her way to work at Apapa. She was working for MTN. She had a boy friend named Emeka, a banker who was recently transferred to Abuja. Both of them were true lovers. She spent half of the day and most nights talking with Emeka on her phone. Lola's family knew about their relationship. Emeka was very close with Lola's family in spite of the tribal differences. (just imagine their love). Before she passed away at Luth, she told her friends "If I pass away, please bury me with my cell phone" she also said the same thing to her parents. After her death at LUTH, the attendants was not able to carry her body to the mortuary. A lot of them tried to do so but still couldn't. They went and called some priests in church who had the gift of communicating with the dead. The priests came and sprinkled some salt and water on the body and started speaking to slowly. After a few minutes, they said "this girl misses something here". Then her friends told them about her intentions to bury her with her phone. They asked them to bring a coffin, and then they opened it and placed her phone inside the casket. After that they tried to carry the body. It could now be moved and they carried it away with ease. Everyone was shocked. A day later which was Lola's birthday, Emeka came to their house with gifts but was so shocked to receive d news. He couldn't believe, because he still spoke with Lola d previous day, he then tried calling her phone again in their presence and behold d phone rang nd Lola picked it and they were chatting. They called d priest to come and intervene nd when he came and prayed for 5 hours, it was revealed dat MTN is everywhere u GO. Pls don't shoot me yet cos I'm also looking for d person dat emailed me dis, so I can strangle him too..hahahaha |
I see no reason why nigeria still have Polytechnics. Jamb have proved that those below their given standards should be pushed into Nigeria Polytechnics. But why? Why is it those below standards? polytechnics had be known to be An institution of higher education offering courses in [b]vocational or technical subjectsBy Merriam-Webster Dictionary. Then having known the large purpose of this institution, i think Nigerians metality ranging from the mindset of aspirants through their families and Rectors of institution through governmental policy have done nigerian educational system worst than ignorant could do. This thread will be incomplete if i fail to point out the criticism in the labour populace. Employers have indirectly done more harm then good to graduates and post secondary aspirant. The bank (Lolz) is no left out...i decided to point The bank out of the labour market, in their bid to keep more and give out less have put technicians in the place of management. Lol. lease this thread is to provide answers to Do we nigeria still need polytecnics? Can't Bechalor in Technology be award in universities? Whereas universities can award e.Du. From my point of view Nig. gov't is naglecting the value of HND holder's and puting the numbers of unemployed force on the Bsc holder's The crave to become a uni graduate is alarming, and have great impact on Nigeria and its employment rate. To me its unfair and unjust because its not anybody that holds Bsc knows better then HND holder which nigeria gov't feld to understand therefore, my reason behind this is thread, certificate its not true test of intectuality by aquiring Bsc dose't mean you can perform better in the task asigned to you. The greatest fear is that if the nigerian gov't continue to accept this Bsc/HND dichotomy, in the future people will abondon going to polytechnics to obtain HND because it would be consider as waste of time they would have to go to the universitties and obtain their Bsc as the case may be. It is a call to stake holders in education to look into this and correct the lacuna. The body responsible for this, should take this issue into consideration and find a suitable and everlasting solution to the appropariate problems and not by allowing jamb to dogde the question by Unifying Jamb. Of course Jamb knew the market for poly jambitoes was now a trial after Uni jamb failure. Jamb knew they were no passion to be known as a poly student. Jamb knew the trust that they were no real poly aspirants. The future is now. |

Hop to c u all in ksu.sir. ocreen it was nice meeting u today. The lastes about k.s.u predegree admision list is that both the first and this present admission list is a flaw in error. After speaking with the director like i promised you, he told me people have been complaining of disappearance of their names on this current admision list, In liue to the per incuriam above, he have instructed that the admision list be withdrawn from the site, student are adviced to sit tight on their pd entrance exam score for now. Also note taking is that, for all those who are eager to commence registration. predegree registration/commerncement date have been shifted till further noticfication (maybe towards 19th and 26th), due to the indifinate strike action by the Non-academic/non-lecturers/non teaching staff as it is them that will clear and comfirm every student during registration Infact nobody is in predegree center to attend to you. Let us not panic, as for those with 40 and above in predegree entrance examination, be patient the authentic list will soon be out. For k.s.u main admision list, if you merit it dont buy jamb form o, you all are starting registration first week of december, for the list? It going to be up and accessable by 'befor' 26th of November. I moved to dbestemy for the best help. B4 i 4get...make una rush ocgreen for lodge o, d earlier the better. Emmyk i hail.
