SW is the cherished prize in the South
It was the winning formula for 2015,2019 and will deliver again in 2023.
SW and North have the top 3 supermajority tribes of Hausa, Yoruba and Fulani. If you do not get SW in the South, it is like missing NW in the North and those 3 supermajority tribes by population , you will likely lose Presidential election in Nigeria.

Very dumb post from a bigot. SW is never the most important region in the South in terms of vote. In fact, it's the least important because votes from there are always split into fragments! 2023 won't be any different.

The winner from SW might end up having just 800,000 votes difference while just one state in SE or SS can give a particular candidate 1 million block votes thereby effectively neutralizing the entire SW

Whichever candidate SS decides to go for is certainly going to get block votes from them and it's going to be Obi for obvious reasons. SS are mostly Christians and they're close to SE in every dynamics. So, SS might end up giving Obi 7 million votes. SE too will give Obi block votes of up to 6 million.

Generally, Igbos and Yorubas are roughly equal in population but Yorubas are not homogeneous religious wise which makes it difficult for them to give block votes. Already, many Christians in SW are angry that Tinubu chose muslim muslim ticket and considering the Owo massacre and other killings in SW against Christians, most Yoruba Christians won't vote Tinubu. Add that to Igbos and SS christian tribes in the SW who share similar views and you will understand why Tinubu can only win marginally in SW.
