Politics / DSS, Okupe, Emefiele: Who Is Truly In Charge Of Nigeria? by EndsarsReloaded: 10:01am On Dec 20, 2022
Some crazy things are happening in Nigeria and it has become alarming. Firstly, the campaign DG of a top contender in the coming election was hurriedly slammed two years jail term or 13 million naira fine. The swiftness of the judgement was so shocking that it is perhaps the fastest in history of Nigeria!

Secondly, the CBN i.e. its governor that is supposed to be independent, is currently under attack by the DSS. What is even more alarming is the outrageous charge that the CBN governor is sponsoring terrorism. This man has been at the helm of affairs at the CBN for years now. Emefiele hasn't been popular all the while with calls for his sack when naira plummeted against the dollar. However, the sudden attack on him is coming after he pushed for certain policies that will help bring sanity in the electoral system of Nigeria.

Tinubu's desperation and anxiety became obvious when he used APC governors to challenge the new CBN policies. When that didn't work, he has moved to the DSS and is now using them to do a hatchet job.

This situation has brought up questions about who is truly in charge of Nigeria. The whole scenario doesn't seem like a president is in Aso rock controlling the affairs of the country. There seem to be two cabals fighting each other for their own personal interests while the president is at best unconcerned or helpless.

What is really going on in Nigeria?

All eyes on Uyo today.
Peter Obi is redefining the political landscape of Nigeria. The jubilation that will sweep across the land when he is announced winner will be unprecedented, it will be as if Nigeria won the world cup.

Dear Seun, nlfpmod, Mynd44 and other moderators of this platform, what manner of Campaign of calumny is this?

Why run an advert with picture of Peter Obi and Kwankwaso, when they are not in the same party?

Why allow such a misleading advert on your platform?

Is this how low you guys can go?

Even the advert website is just full of misinformation, lies and character assassination of Peter Obi and his supporters.

See the link below
https://bantupage.com/peter-obi-obliterated-in-kano-bantupage-media/

Dear Seun, if you guys don't take down this advert within the next 48hrs, this will be tabled to the PCC of ObiDatti and legal actions will be taken up. Enough of this madness.

Thanks

Exactly!!!

I just saw it now and wanted to create a thread about such madness.

If Seun doesn't do anything serious to save this platform, it's surely going down the drain.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Obliterated In Kano by EndsarsReloaded: 6:30pm On Dec 19, 2022
Also, it is unlikely that PDP or APC popularity will increase but majority of those "undecided" and "undisclosed" will be going the way of Obi's LP.

Lessons will be learnt come February, imagine PDP and APC around just 15% while NNPP has already skyrocketed to 35% and growing. To think that some olodos were even dreaming that Kwankwaso will drop for them when he is far more popular than them grin grin

Atiku should drop for Kwankwaso while Tinubu drops for Obi because Nigerians have clearly rejected the two old criminals cheesy

They call themselves “Obidient”, and they have this arrogance buried under this naive sense of victory even before the votes are counted. It could be argued that they have little or no understanding of the Nigerian demography and structure that governs her electoral character.

Initially without a manifesto, Obi finally succumbed to pressure and released his manifesto which created pandemonium on Twitter and other platforms. “It’s POssible: Our Pact with Nigerians” he coined it – what exactly is possible, one can hardly tell. Nigeria has had decades of mismanagement, dilapidated infrastructures, abandoned projects, horrible hospitals, and the list can go on forever. To imagine that a candidate can in less than 4 years turn this around is the myth behind the Obidient movement.

In contrast to the reality in the South, the North is another ball game, it will surprise many that Obi is not close to a household name in the vast rural lands in the North. A recent poll conducted between 27-29th Nov 2022 in Kano showed just that, the Labour Party candidate came a distant last. His performance was so bad that he didn’t make 5%.

Our Kano state poll touched on different categories like age, ethnicity, marital status, educational background, and others. In all these categories, the Labour Party candidate was not competitive to be considered a threat.
https://bantupage.com/peter-obi-obliterated-in-kano-bantupage-media/

If you have sense you should rather be worried that NNPP has taken over Kano while undecided is still far more than both APC and PDP.

Did LP ever tell you they want to win Kano or even get 25% there? With the way things are going, not even PDP or APC is assured of getting 25% in Kano, the same NW region both are claiming to be their respective strongholds!

These are factors that should rather worry you, not LP because they're perfectly fine!!!

Only an organic movement can achieve this level of political innovativeness. How many Tinubu supporters can do this for Tinubu without demanding a share of Lagos taxpayers' contribution? None at all. Many of them get paid for posting on Nairaland.

I believe Rigasa is Muslim parts of Northern Kaduna. I like the way Obidients are not limiting themselves to their strongholds but taking the battle to their opponents areas.

I hope when APC wins you won't change story at the election petition tribunals and simply congratulate Tinubu and move on?!

Hope you won't resume Biafra agitation

Even though I don't support such violence but when you look at things critically, you may not want to blame the youths for angrily rejecting BAT.

When a dead vegetable wants to jeopardize your future because of his worthless ego, it's enough to make anyone go the extra mile.

It's an insult for Tinubu to be trying to rule Nigeria when he knows he has become brain dead.

First it was food vendors from North, now Dangote trailer drivers, if Fuel Tanker drivers join, then Christmas would somehow in the East

Just imagine the senseless urchins supporting the bastard of iragbiji. Since when did fuel tankers start moving from North to South? Is the ports now in North? Are there functional refineries up north?

Olodo, fuel moves from South to North and not the other way round.

Meanwhile, I think Buhari should release Nnamdi Kanu so that all these unnecessary tensions will reduce. Stopping food or cattle from coming to the East will affect North as much as it will affect East, and the country's economy suffers it. Already, lots of food crops grown in the North perish if they're not evacuated to Southern markets, so there is no winner here.

Time for BUA to take over the lucrative SE market. Dangote allowed his trucks to be used in conveying terrorists from North to South. Instead of him to caution his drivers and monitor them strictly, he is resorting to knee Jack approach. By the time BUA and Larfage cement relegates him to the background, he will rush to reverse himself.

IPOB plans can be summarised as. follows

Plan A: Claim not to be Nigerians and fight for BIAFRA which failed and bursted in their faces

Plan B: Become emergency Nigerians and start supporting Obi for president. Unfortunately this is seriously failing as Obi didn't get any real support nationally

Plan C: Start attacking Bola Tinubu who is a fellow southerner out of hatred just because he seems the national favourite

Plan D: Go back to their BIAFLA or death MADNESS after Obi has lost the elections

BATstards and urchins are still deceiving themselves that Peter Obi has no support base. Some of them know the truth but wants to deceive gullible people that Obi can't win while others actually believe he stands no chance. This will even make Atiku and Tinubu defeat even more earth shattering.

Even Kwankwaso might end up shocking either Tinubu or Atiku by coming second or third.

APC will win the North, only the political oblivious in Northern Nigeria will vote for a one term president in Abubakar Atiku, to pave way for Okowa in 4 years time, another Yaradua Jonathan 2027 saga?

The North will vote for APC because of Shettima (A Kanuri) because they know, give or take, it is a win win scenario, after Tinubu in 4 or 8 years, it is coming back to them.

As for Peter Obi, that is a political clown.

Rubbish post! So Atiku will spend billions of naira contesting since 1993 only to rule for 4 years?

If you think that majority of Northern Muslims will leave Atiku they believe is a real Muslim for a fake Muslim like Tinubu then the joke is on you.
