An unkown facebook user just shared a video from a close range which captured the moment unknown gunmen invaded the hometown of Imo state governor Hope Uzodimma at the early hours of Saturday.

In the background , a voice of a child and that of his mother warning her to take cover to void been hit by stray bullet were been heard.

Please security agencies should rush and protect that home because from the video, the location it was captured can be traced clearly.

I've gotten all the true details of the chaos that went down in Oru East, Awo mmama... and yes there was a joint sting operation involving the NPF, units from the Nigerian army, ITF, and the DSS against suspected ESN operatives in a base located in Awo mmama and led by the much talked about "Commander Ikonso". The security agencies came prepared and heavily stacked up and it appeared they took the ESN operatives completely by surprise. There was a very serious gun battle that ensued when the Nigerian joint security forces stormed the base of commander Ikonso, and despite been outnumbered and outgunned, commander Ikonso and his boys put up a very determined fight till commander Ikonso and one of his boys (not 6 as the army shamelessly claimed with no proof) were taken down... the rest escaped and only two ESN operatives were killed with two others captured after been injured in the clash. The security forces lost 5 men in the gun battle.

After the news of Commander Ikonson's death from the invasion broke, his boys went on a vengeful rampage and razed down Hope Uzodinma's mansion and some of his vehicles at his country home in Omuma, killing three of his security guards. Then two more security men who were transporting gallons of petrol were tracked down and in a random act of violence also gunned down around Oguta junction. Right now the atmosphere is tense in Oru East and the army have reinforced and are on high alert in various strategic areas of the community... there's suspicion that there might be reprisals from the ESN or "unknown gunmen" on military and police targets in the coming days.

The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has vowed to avenge the death of one of the leaders of the Eastern Security Network, ESN in Imo State, identified as Ikonso, IgbereTV reports.

Recall that the Nigeria Police Force and their counterparts from the Nigerian Army and DSS in a joint operation, in the early hours of Saturday allegedly killed the commander of the Eastern Security Network ESN in Awomama Village Oru East LGA of Imo State,


Reacting over the killing, Nnamdi Kanu said as the body of the ESN leader identified as Ikonso was paraded by Fulani Jihadists in police and Nigerian army, so shall it be on Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma.


Kanu made this known in a statement made available to IGBERE TV by his Spokesman, Emma Powerful.

He said “the killing of the heroic innocent Biafrans protecting our communities and towns from Fulani terrorists herdsmen masquerading as cattle herders in cold blood is very painful.”


The statement added that “the Supreme Court Administrator of Imo State Hope Uzodinma and all those who had a hand in this wickedness will pay dearly.

“Hope Uzodinma and his cowardly Nigerian security agencies that cannot confront Fulani terrorists but only flex their muscles when they see Biafra agitators. For murdering Ikonso, the ESN unit COMMANDER in in cold blood, Uzodima has stirred the hornet nest! He should get ready for a sting.

“Uzodima decided to kill Ikonso because he refused his offer to head Ebubeagu ghost security outfit formed by South East governors. Uzodima has tried but without success to lure ESN operatives into EBUBEAGU. He had made irresistible offers to them which were turned down, hence his resorting to elimination of these patriotic heroes who vowed never to betray Biafra.

“Hope Uzodinma sent a lot of emissaries to beg Ikonso and other ESN officers to join EBUBEAGU security outfit. So, because of their refusal to betray Biafra agitation and our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the hopeless governor mobilized joint security forces to attack them today.

“Contrary to claims by the cowardly security forces who flee from terrorists but kill innocent citizens, they were not able to peneterate into the camp of Eastern Security Network ESN. They only ambushed Ikonso but we promise them hell for this cowardly act!

“Hope Uzodima has murdered sleep, so he should be ready to stay awake! FULANI terrorists pretending as cattle sellers in Enugu destroyed Police van and attacked Government officials on lawful duty with AK-47 but no Army, police or DSS attacked them till now. But ESN operatives defending our communities against the terrorists are being hunted like games everyday. The world has kept quiet over this atrocity until we begin our own madness.

Social media monitoring tool CrowdTangle showed that the article was first published by World News Daily Report on March 19, 2021.

Checks showed that WND, where the story originated is a satirical website and attacked a disclaimer, stating that it assumes “all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content.”

Further checks by The PUNCH also revealed that the picture accompanying the article was first published in 2016 by Shipping Watch.

The report, which has gone viral on WhatsApp, Facebook Instagram, as well as Twitter, was also reposted by blogs in Nigeria, Malawi, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, who is one of those who shared it, tweeted, “A ship from Nigeria has been impounded in China whilst trying to smuggle in 7,200 joysticks

A criminal complaint has been filed against Lagos lawyer Femi Falana, before the International Criminal Court in Hague, for allegedly instigating the violent #EndSARS protests that led to killing of innocent citizens, destruction of properties and other crimes against humanity in Nigeria

The ICC has however acknowleged the receipt of the complaints.

According to a reply signed by the Head of Information and Evidence Unit of the ICC, Mark Dillon, the Communication has entered the Registry of the Court and will be considered accordingly with the procedure and Rome Statute of the ICC.

The group said it has attached sensitive pieces of evidence on the allegations raised to drive home their argument that Femi Falana, ought to be prosecuted and sanctioned.

In the criminal complaint, the complainant listed policemen killed and government property destroyed as casualties of the protest which lasted for about three weeks.

The group called on the ICC Prosecutor to opens an investigation of Femi Falana, on her own accord under Article 15 (1) of the Rome Statute;

It called on the ICC Prosecutor to compels Femi Falana SAN upon conviction under the Rome Statute to pay the sum of $2,000,000,000 (Two Billion US Dollars) as punitive damages for causing death, injury and maiming of several citizens as well as wanton destruction of public and private properties through his instigation of the violent #EndSARS Protests across Nigeria from the period 3rd October, 2020 till 21st October, 2020.

Most people here do not use twitter. The evidences are too much for military cover. Some classified videos will be protected and you will not see it online. Some people are in lagos without families. They live with friends. Some left villages for greener pastures in lagos. Some are orphans and homeless. If these ones joined protests and they were killed it would be very difficult for families to even know what has happened to them. The truth is that many people were killed , military is just trying to minimise casualties to avoid another outrage.
