enemmo: Yes I was hoping for Chris Rio to sing Sam Smith' s writing on the wall because his falsetto is lit. I don't think we should expect Project fame this year. It's almost October and no news yet. That show even needs rebranding as Mtn had succeeded in turning it into a money making machine instead of a true talent search. |

She wasn't all that great from the beginning. I actually liked Pere' s voice the most, but he wasn't a great performer. The day he sang Sam smith's writing on the wall, I was thoroughly impressed. |

Dainikel: It seems you aint aware of the finale format on VON. Each team gets a rep for the top 4 of which my prediction might see: 1. J'dess {had a sultry & 'Nigerian thing' finale performance alongside her popularity from winning a Destiny Child show at a time might see her surprisingly clinching the win} 2. Syemca {his last two liveshow performance alongside his brother's influence(Chike) is good enough for him} 3. IDYL {Jahtell is the best singer for the show no doubt but the fans here are what matters. If IDYL could edge Bada over fanbase to clinch top 8 then I'm guessing he might as well edge Jahtell but I would personally hope Jahtell wins since the more deserving Bada was edged out} 4. Yimika {this should be next close call & I think its a 50-50 chance between Yimika & Ebube because Ebube tho started below average but has shown steady growth in the competition which is commendable but since its based on fanbase, Yimika might just be a little lucky over Ebube} The funny thing with the remaining four is 2 of the 4 left might have higher votes than the 2nd & 3rd runners up. 5. Wow 6. Chris Rio 7. Jahtell 8. Ebube You are on point. The day Jdess won votes over Arewa, I went to her Instagram page. Saw Phyno, Ik Ogbonna etc. She s an artiste and also and actress and has a strong following in the east. She might just pull an 'Arese' tonight. Can't wait to see the winner. Meanwhile this is me looking at the organisers..only 3 live shows...

junnyjake: What would you rather they do differently, they didn't do this year. . Maybe they should select songs on their behalf. Imagine somebody singing Michael Jacksons song just because he likes M.J. In my opinion, song selection for this season was poor. There should be a week dedicated to Nigerian songs. Still on song selection. |

BelovedN: The Voice's style of eliminating many people at once is quite annoying. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this season was too short. Only three live performances and then the finale. We haven't seen so much of the contestants. They wasted time with the blind auditions and battles. . The most painful part is that they dont even get to say their farewells on stage. On the brighter side, those that have acting skills might get roles on Africa magic productions like Arese, Chike and Nonso. |

1nigeriamyfoot: Call it hatred or whatever that pleases you but this is a complete dance of shame in public. what lesson do we learn from the BBN show? how many of Nigerian students who excelled beyond imagination in their academics were celebrated? In case you don't know, you a promoting mediocrity while you discourage scholars. When was the last time YOU celebrated academic excellence? |

LifestyleTonite: Efe's victory at the reality show was just to satisfy the poor who are the majority viewers of the show. They just wanted a grass to grace situation.
I guess now they have realized they made a mistake cos, so far, he appears unmarketable.
lalasticlala cc I beg to disagree. Everyone has their target audience. IMO many Nigerian companies don't do their research very well that's why it seems that way. |

sgtponzihater1: Wow. DAT lady is fire. But if Idyl, jdess, Wow or Chris Rio Wins, I will be glad For the first time in my journey of watching reality shows, I don't have any favourite. I'm really clueless on who to vote for. Last season of TVN was easy for me. Nonso was my favourite, because he would hold his notes. I liked his discipline as a singer. Its not very easy for that kind of voice to go contemporary but he pushed himself. Sorry to digress. This Season I had Chris Rio as my favourite,he is a great singer and has one of the best falsettos this season. But he seems to be too laid back, even when Stephanie was asking them to campaign, his own was very lacklustre. Jdess also, but the last Ekwe performance, was great, but I know she can do more. Idyll has been pretty consistent and Jahtell though I think she stayed in her comfort zone pretty much the whole time,I commend her efforts. Ebube has really shown growth and that's a great thing, Syemca also.Yimika is really creative with his adlibs and arrangement and I'm pretty much indifferent about Wow. Sigh. May the best Man/Woman win. #thoughts. |

That was the last winner of the voice U.S.A. He also sang Bruno Mars song, the last one Brother Kendriss sang on the voice Nigeria. I don't want to sound like a complainer but it seems Nigerian music reality shows in general have a long long way to go. |

Can't you see that they have gained a positive recognition of Ohaneze Ndigbo and the attention of South Eastern Governors. can't you see that South Eastern NASS members are showing sympathy without knowing it by calling for demilitarising of SE. They are waiting for who will bell the cat. This is Pepsi vs Coca cola thread. You're derailing. |
