It's few days to the gubernatorial elections across Nigeria. A state that has been on spotlight is Lagos State. The major candidates are the serving governor Babajide Sanwoolu (aka Sanwo) of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adediran
Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (aka Jandor) of People's Democratic Party (PDP) and Gbadedo Vivor-Rhodes (aka) GRV of Labour Party (LP).
The three are successful business men but Sanwoolu has more experience of governance than the other two. He is the incumbent with a good performance in his first four years so far meaning he deserves re-election.
The recent attachment of some people who appeared to be majorly of Igbo, pained PDP bots and woke Yorubas by supporting GRV who's gubernatorial ambition barely came to life in February 2023 is appalling. The Igbos among them are making it appear as if they hated Sanwoolu cos he's from APC. It's like transferring hatred that was meted on Awolowo to Abiola, to Obasanjo and now to Tinubu. This is pure Vendetta. Tinubu's the president. If you showed someone so much hate during election and the person later won, it's a shame. They are neglecting Guber activities in southeast and focusing on Lagos. They ll lose home and away. Cos Sanwoolu ll win Lagos and vagabonds ll win the Southeast cos they weren't vetted but voted for sentimentally and in an I don't care attitude cos they focused more on Lagos.
Firstly, no one knew GRV until elupeee people started hyping him after Obi's heartbreaking loss to them.
The energy elupeee people are wasting in Lagos Guber is enough to focus on east. When Tinubu was building political allies, he started from home by winning Lagos, spreading to Edo, Ogun, Oyo, Osun etc. Common sense should tell Igbos that the way they brag especially to Yorubas is uncalled for. This is the script they played in 2019 for Jimi Agbaje that made them start crying Oba said we can go n drown in the lagoon.
Now the unwarranted insult and hatred is on Sanwoolu.
These people didn't mobilize to have LP take over Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi and Imo but are making noise on Internet for Lagos. Even Chinedu knows them no born him papa well to win cos he's politically a nobody and an empty politician that's banking on opportunistic Igbo votes carry me trabaye!
Any ambition built on pretense and aim of let's spoil their plans won't work. It's indeed a labour in vain.
Recently, one of his old tweets were digged aand it showed he was dissing Pst EA Adeboye, one of the most respected men of God in Nigeria. Gbadebo has become Gbadesonu!
Elupeee people said they ll vote Frank Nweke Jr of APGA in Enugu against their elupeee (LP) candidate. Is their LP candidate there so worst that they can't vote him? Here, you can see that they just want Lagos as their target. The matter come be like the lazy want good things but can't work for it. My advise to elupeee people is to focus on starting at home. Charity begins at home. Elupeee the whole south east and see if it won't be a national party. Stop labouring in vain, stop vendetta voting.
