Dear Governor Seyi Makinde,

I am reaching out to you with deep concern and sadness regarding the recent episode of the Oriyomi Hamzat show and the disturbing neglect of children's safety in Oyo State and across Nigeria. As a fellow human being, it pains and traumatizes me to witness the appalling treatment that hapless minors face in our society.

Meanwhile, the Oriyomi Hamzat show, which claims to be humanitarian, is instead a troubling mix of deliberate ignorance and a lack of professionalism. It is urgent that you take decisive action to protect vulnerable and impoverished children from predators in Oyo State. Unlike Lagos State, which has a strict stance against child abuse, your government seems to lack adequate mechanisms to swiftly address these heinous crimes against minors in Oyo State.

Furthermore, the broadcast of the Oriyomi Hamzat show, featuring a young victim, is not just shocking; it reflects poorly on the authorities in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. In a just society, individuals like Oriyomi Hamzat would be invited, questioned, and held accountable by law enforcement and child protection services for their deliberate indifference and actions. The disturbing videos that have surfaced, showcasing the degradation of these children, are not only distressing but should be condemned by all who possess a sense of moral and decency.

It is crucial for Nigeria’s security forces to take immediate steps to apprehend those who exploit minors in Oyo State. Those who turn a blind eye to the sexual abuse and humiliation faced by innocent children on programs like the Oriyomi Hamzat show are complicit in this inhumane treatment of minors.

Governor Makinde, many children are suffering under your administration, facing sexual abuse while being put in the position of confronting their offenders in live-streamed shows. We urgently urge the Oyo State government to address the alarming issue of child molestation. Is there truly no dedicated office for child protective services in Oyo State? You are an educated and principled leader rooted in good values. So why are these tragic cases being aired on social media, often allowing perpetrators to evade consequences despite their confessions to crimes involving children who cannot consent?

During the Oriyomi Hamzat's show, minors are subjected to humiliating and inappropriate questions from Mr. Hamzat, such as, “How many times have you done it with him?” and “Which man did it first?” These lines of questioning show a blatant disregard for the trauma these children endure, and unfortunately, the ignorant audience often reacts with sinister laughter, further trivializing an already serious issue.

This unprofessional treatment of minors on Mr. Hamzat's platform must come to an end. His show lacks the sensitivity and expertise needed to handle such delicate matters of child abuse in your state. Your government must take swift action to prevent this issue from escalating into an international outcry and news that could tarnish Nigeria’s nascent reputation. The world is watching, and we need your leadership to restore hope for these vulnerable children. Kudos to the Real Talks With Aunty Adunni show for amplifying this horrific and inhumane behavior against innocent and helpless children in our society.

Dear Governor! Please step up fast and put an end to this deliberate indifference, willful ignorance, and negligence in our society.

As President, Late Mohammadu Buhari, an Islamic extremist did not hid his love for the Islamic terrorists who have killed over 50,000 Nigerians and raped hundreds of school children
He ( Buhari) rehabilitated and re-integrated the murderes, rapist of children, arsonists and armed robbers. He even adorned them in national colors and lodged them in 5 star hotels. Throughout his 8 years marked by shedding of blood of innocent Nigerians by Islamic and fulani terrorists and bandits, not a single one of those murderers were prosecuted. But the same Buhari government went to Kenya to Kidnap Nnamdi Kanu and charged him for terrorism
An army General under Buhari once granted an interview and said Boko Haram members could become president of Nigeria
Buhari used his 8 years as President to support Islamic terrorists and that’s why an average Nigerian Muslim loved and worshipped him.
Then came Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a Muslim who claimed to have a Pastor as wife.
Tinubu was so desperate to become President after Buhari and knows that Northern Muslims were the only voting block that could help him to fulfill his dream. Tinubu threw all cautions into the wind to pick a Muslim running mate because he knew that northern Muslims would never support a Yoruba Muslim who have a “pastor” wife.
Tinubu has been dancing in circles because he does not have the gut to crush the Islamic terrorists that his godfather Buhari supported and revered and most importantly he still needed the votes of northern Muslims to remain in power beyond 2027
And, since an average Muslim especially northern Muslims are sentimentally attached to Islamic terrorists whom they believe are helping them to fight their jihad against Christians, it’s foolhardy to think that President Tinubu would ever move against Islamic terrorists and crash his 2027 ambition
Like the way President Trump is hiding the Epstein files, that’s the way President Tinubu is hiding the list of the financier of Islamic terrorists in Nigeria
The Presidency has the list but they dare not release it or prosecute anyone on that list
As a Nigerian, it’s sad to admit that only foreign intervention can save Nigeria from Islamic terrorists no Nigerian elected as President can save Nigeria
If you campaign to end Islamic terrorism in Nigeria, you can never get to power( have you ever heard any of those struggling to become president including Obi and Atiku openly promise to crush Islamic terrorists?)
And if you become President and attempt to crush Islamic terrorists, you won’t last in power because northern Muslims would come after you. Ask President Jonathan.
