Dear President Trump (POTUS)

Nigeria has become a hotbed of terrorism in West Africa, serving as a fallback base for extremist groups across the region.

I wish to personally thank you for listening to the daily cries from those of us following the humanitarian crisis and for those living in what has effectively become a failed state. The truth is that life in Nigeria has become unbearable for millions.

For years, the country has endured unchecked brutality — a cocktail of terrorism, Fulani jihadist militias, kidnappings, abductions, human trafficking, money laundering, religious extremism, and state-sponsored persecution of ethnic minorities, particularly the Biafrans of the South East.

Even more concerning is that Nigeria is currently led by a President with serious criminal allegations, Ahmed Tinubu, whose background has drawn comparisons to Manuel Noriega of Panama. His questionable record and leadership have become matters of global concern.

Furthermore, Nigeria’s government routinely defies African Court rulings on human rights, disregards UN mandates, and undermines international legal standards. In essence, it has become a pariah state within the community of nations.

We therefore urgently request that the United States take swift and decisive action to stop the spread of terrorism across West Africa and the entire continent.

The southward movement of jihadist groups from the Sahel represents a grave and growing threat — one that America and its allies must address before terrorism engulfs Africa.

IbrahimSola:
This US intention to invade Nigeria is not because of religious killings. If it were religious killings, US should have invaded Nigeria when Muhammadu Buhari was the president and when HellRufai was the governor in Kaduna State and Ortom the governor of Benue State. The religious killings and carnage of that era can never be forgotten on this earth. BUT WHAT DID THE UNITED STATES DO? Nothing! Because they had their stooge in power.

Come back to Tinubu, it is obvious that the current has malfunctioned in the eyes of the United States. It is not what they expected. Somehow, his ability to REJECT HARDENED CRIMINALS THAT TRUMP WANTED TO DEPORT TO NIGERIA (as if Nigeria is a maximum security prison) IS THE LAST STRAW ON THE CAMEL'S BACK. How did Trump expect Nigeria with all our criminals in government to accept the worst criminals from the US when he should have normally deported them back to their countries? He wanted them to serve their prison term, but he wanted it to be in a maximum security prison which Trump mistook Nigeria for. Would he accept such nonsense? Why didn't he deport them to the UK or any European country?

ANOTHER problem that this man Trump has with Nigeria is that Dangote Refinery is up and running. He knows what that means in the next 5 years in terms of exchange rate. Trump is also aware that Dangote wants to go into oil production. He knows that once this happens, some of the crude theft and inefficiencies that the US benefits from will cut by half. Trump knows that Nigeria being self reliant in energy means doom for the US and the West. I have always admired the US and President Trump but this is nonsense. He's not coming to liberate the christians. Christians have no such urgent needs to be liberated in Nigeria now more than it was in the days of Buhari. All they want is to come, bomb the oil infrastructure, take charge of the oil, and execute their agenda. As much as I believe that the US played a siginficant role in 2023, they're seeing the current president as someone who is not sticking to the agenda, someone who has malfunctioned, someone who they'll likely lose control of.

Think of the 15% import duty imposed on imported fuel products, it is also a sign that the US might be losing grip of the Nigerian economy, hence their intention to invade as they did in Lybia. The problem is after some diplomatic meetings that will follow, the US will end up getting a good slice of control over the policies of the federal government. Personally I don't like APC and the sufferings they bring on the people, but I don't like the US meddling in our affairs now, When they should have intervened in the Buhari's 8 years of carnage. Where was the US and Trump in the 8 years of Buhari? These people want to control our country by all means. Why didn't they react or intervene in 2023 after the uproar and disgust that followed the 2023 elections? Where was America?

Lest i forget, Nigeria refused to go to war with Niger Republic who sent away the US military base. They pushed and encouraged, tried to manipulate President Tinubu to go to war with Niger but he refused. I believe this was part of the instances they believed that Tinubu malfunctioned. So they want to show Nigeria shege. They believe, eat, wear, drink, dream and walk America first but they don't want other countries to put their interest first.

My only problem is that Tinubu failed to take a decisive action on the sponsors and sympathizers of Boko Haram when he entered. But how could he have done it when he needs second term? This country na wa, but US should leave us alone.
rubbish! Absolute nonsense!!
