Air force DSSC last time didn't write exams. We were shortlisted for physical screening and certificates verification after which about 50 candidates per state were shortlisted for interview in Jos. I was among the 50 from my state but I didn't go because I had DPR exams same period.

Me too bro, after reading your comment I sharply opened my mail and lo and behold it was NSE congratulating me, just less than a week i applied, of a truth things are falling into shape for good. This is the first time in the histrory of NSE to issue certification this fast. It is like one of NSE's ogas is following this thread. Glory be to God.

Get your documents signed by 2 different referees(Lg chairman or military offrs not below Lt.col or Assistant Commissioner of police) if you can get two different military men fine, if not get ur LG chairman and a military offr)note:: there is a form in which the referees will attach their passport and comment on ur character(reference form). If you are in kaduna you will easily get a senior officer from ur state in 44ref hospital.

Morning everyone, i posted here earlier as regards my nysc cert which is due to be relessed by December and i equally would love to apply for this course. I have successfully registered and i uploaded a certificate format given to us while in camp. Veterans in the house pls any hope i may be shortlisted? i am pretty sure when shortlisted my certificate would be ready.

There is Nigeria Society of Engineers (nse)

A major told me in the month of March to try and get registered...that it will give me an edge....God so kind the following month a new diet was opened and I registered......I got my certificate last month and was advised to start prepping for my COREN.

Very good,,IF You are within the age bracket go for ssc because there's no difference in role now,many dssc offrs are in front line now,as dssc you don't write exams hence your promotion depends on your immediate superior and commading officers whereas ssc promotion largely depends on your ability to pass your exams,weather they like you or not you will be promoted but dssc once you are charged and your PER spoilt just forget it.

That's what i want to hear,once you surmount all the obstacles you will enjoy to the fullest,you can rise to any rank,you can become Corp commander,GOC etc,you might also be lucky to be posted to a non combat arm like finance,ST,Ordnanace,Public relations and etc,at that rank you can become a commanding officer, some thing that your dssc counter part can not smell....... .Just pay the Price now and enjoy later,..... .. The training is deadly,please gain gas and reserve your energy... That doesn't mean you should not be involved in minor morning exercise,30 push ups per minute...... Good luck guys

On this one I disagree if they know they should just make it Nda alone the moment they introduce SSC equality suppose to be met. They spent 5years so we no go play for Uni too and again they will be commissioned straight a graduate will wait, apply, bla bla bla and bla b4 9month training if we are to Yan the truth it suppose be the same rule. They set the rule and we know it forging ahead to apply is our choice and we love it and care less about the disparities.

They spent 5years, you spent 9months, they're actually not your mates cos the 2star they'll hang afterwards will be backdated sef, making them mates with the DSSC guys.

SSC guys will spend 9months while DSSC 6months.

SSC guys are Combatants involved at the war front with Regular Commission guys from NDA, they're facing death face to face while DSSC guys are just support staff who'll only be involved in combat if the main guys have been overrun. Anything that'll make a DSSC candidate carry gun and start shooting in war front, just know the Army don lose that battle already.

All d consultants and the legal practitioners will be zoned to Abuja after the 3months exercise at Taraba after hanging PIP at Jaaji.

It's important ppl know these things so they'll know whhat they're signing up for.

SSC training na die oh, they won't be satisfied until atleast 10ppl have died. That's d standard for SSC oh! DSSC too tough but they're not interested in killing anyone but you go chop enough flogging taya meen! Enough hunching, enough pinning head, enough yanshing up properly!!! But in all na SSC worse pass, that one you go become real animal when you comot, that one na if you never craze b4 that time sef.

You just want to justify your actions and clear your conscience. You could as well put your phone number in place of your certificate number since it’s truly yours too and it’s figures as well. Or better still, your state code. All the best ehn.

Just so you know, this is the first time the navy is requesting nysc certificate number and wassec candidate number, that’s to tell you there’s a reason. They won’t think anything filled in your form likely.
A young man filled the initials of his second name instead of the full name during course 25. He paid for that before he was allowed to sit for the exam. Imagine what will happen to you during screening with wrong info especially after these episodes of fake discharge certificate going on in the country.

Best believe the NN means it when you see you’d be disqualified at any stage (even in training) if any false information is discovered.
