Air force never stoped admittin female cadets into the RC. It's Army that stoped and acording to what I heard, from either 71RC or 72RC NDA will stop admitin females into the 3branch of services for RC.

gear up dude, better days ahead, I had friends I even told to take the form few days to the end, their names came out but mine didn't, I also have friends that without glasses they are handicap, their name still show, at a point I was even sad why I didn't opt for SSC because it seems easier to get selected. na only Age barrier go stop person from trying. i can say boastful that majority of these people shortlisted aren't as a result of any godfather, it was just grace and luck.

are u DSSC or SSC, if DSSC, after 2018 in your ID how many digits did you have?

None of the females on that SSC list will make the final. Army stoped enlisting female officers into their combatant Regular Course d years ago. And none in the SSC.
Check requiremnt for NDA RC addmission u will is it's clearly stated that female candidates should not select Army as their chioce of service.

Big congrats to those that made it and a bigger congrats to those that didn't make it. You might be sad but thank God. It's God's plan.

Some selected terma 3 guys (prep wingers will drill you guys) you wan tell me say Terma 5 go come de learn matching drills with una? you may think am na, some of the terma 5 guys sef will also join in drilling you guys. Lieutenant Bature then (Terma5) was involved in the training of SSC 44 guys and previous courses, intact he has being training cadets since when he was in terma 3.

Lol!!!! na terma 3 guys go train una, SSC training is at NDAs old site.. Based on the current HTACOS SSC/NDA terma 3 are mates i.e. both of them will be Lieutenant at the same time. Terma 5 guys are your seniors for life.

I think one of the reasons for the delay for this year's exercise is because of the EFCC cadet that are still undergoing training. It is the terma3 guys that is drilling the hell outta those cadets, it baffles me why EFCC will subject their cadet to such level of brutality putting into cognizance their constitutionally defined role which is totally different from that of the army, I wonder why they are given full combatant training even SSC cadets don't spend such number of months in training (18 months). One can only imagine how brutal Army training will be this time around.
Meanwhile 13hours in Benghazi and We were soldiers on constant replay.. Whetting my appetite with those blockbusters and having a feel of what is to come.

..... Good news..... Army jux postponed recruitment/screening from 4th to 18th January...... I am reading the signal right now.....screening to take place in 20bn Sati, each Corp where vacancies were advertised were ask to nominate 3 officers for the board..... 18 corps in total..... ...... ...... List would still come out soon.... Course mate let's continue to get prepared..... All d best to us all

Went to take some chilled drinks at Disney chicken,hoping to see Ugo around....cos he was close by.....I didn't eat chicken tho, just fish moi moi and salad( cos I dey fear how naf base toilet go look like) and washed it down with a bottle of expensive coke ( the price pain need,cos Dem add 100 to the regular price outside) .

There was a military burial that day at the national cemetery,CDS , CAS and other senior generals were in attendance......I went to the burial ground to witness and have some nice chat....... Got connected with a GP of the airforce, well that was an achievement for me attending the ceremony.

I proceeded to canta road for a Christmas Carol service at the Anglican Bishop court.....when it was over , I relocated to the nag based.

At the naf gate , a flying officer gave me 5minutes to change into my white and blue.....carry my kaya on my head and double up.

"This ones" became a slogan of/to address all the applicants.

No feeding....we were informed and asked to go and make withdrawals so as to cater for that.

Basic punishment was to sit on the ground.

Fast forward to medicals............a day before the medicals,an applicant chalanged a corporal and the later promised to clear the formers doubt.... Medicals day.... early in a dry and cold morning,we were all asked to match out.... A bucket of water was requested from us......the Challenger was ushered out to sit on the red sand and the challenged calmly drenched the Challenger with the bucket of water.... slowly,from head down to the toes....no wonder they said( pay back is a bitch , especially when served cold ...)

Medicals was fun tho ... Doctors seeing naked girls in the process of physical check.... female IT students from polytechnics were pricking us with needle sucking out our blood like vampires.......... To be continued........sorry

Documentation is for people who are already commissioned or cadets about to pass out,the new forecast will not be pleasant to you people who are waiting,lets hope selection exercise is conducted earlier before the stated date if not you people are in for a very long Wait.

My bro as far as the aviation sector most especially a specialised unit as the Army aviation wing is concerned, HSE is totally useless. Even if you are a Professor in firefighting if you don't have an NCAA license even a WAEC holder that has such license will be considered for the job. You might ask why is this so, it is like that because any organisation, airline etc that employ you will be sanctioned and their operating license taking away from them. Note that it is ICAO that regulates the sector in the world. And no country will like to be sanctioned because of any erring organisation.

Their own is different, they pass out after four years but they are not commissioned until they finish their one year special training after which they hang their Lieutenant equivalent rank.

Around a million or more, I don't have that money o seriously I was surprised o.....asking a job seeker for ATC license.... thank you so much sir......I bet most candidates who applied do without the license. Is it possible to get the job without the license. thank you so much for your time once again, I really appreciate.

It simply means that your seniority on the rank starts from the day you pass out,this is for DSSC officers,but RC and SSC has advantage of seniority,the seniority for RC starts from the date of commencement of training ie 5Years,then after POP they will pass out as Second Lieutenant which they will wear for six months and they will be promoted to Lieutenant effective date of POP,on the other hand,SSC pass out with 3Years seniority which means they have to wear second lieutenant rank for additional 2Years before they are promoted.As DSSC you are decorated straight because of speciciality though not all courses listed are professional but it's an advantage.For DSSC & 24 SSC 45,A time will come when all of you will normalize , the seniority is always at the beginning.Keep hope alive and pray to be shortlisted,despite all challenges the army is a very prestigious profession,manage and join.
