Business / How To Start An Online Business While Working Full Time! by engrbrume(m): 6:57am On May 27, 2020
Would you like to build a business outside your current job, become financially independent and be able to live anywhere? If yes, then this is the right post for you!

https://digitalfreedomcraft.com/start-an-online-business/

The world is changing fast, and more people want to make the shift from their regular day jobs to becoming business owners. The question most asked by these people is if they would be able to replace their current income before quitting their jobs to focus entirely on their business.

I can tell you that it is possible to achieve this seemingly impossible goal while working full time. I started running my online business in April 2020 after joining a community of people with the same aspirations. Be prepared to sacrifice some of your free time!

What is really important to me isn't just making money. I'm more concerned about first acquiring digital skills that would guarantee unlimited earning potential. In the words of Tony Hsieh, "Stop chasing the money and start chasing the passion."

"Stop chasing the money and start chasing the passion."

What kind of business can you run part-time?
Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, suggests that beginners should focus on product-driven businesses that are easy to fulfil, i.e. deliver to the customer. It has to be something you believe in, and would confidently recommend to anyone. You should be able to sell many times a week without wasting too much time on support, transactions or customer service. You really do not want to return home after a stressful workday only to end up delivering products or sorting out issues with purchases.

Get involved in Affiliate Marketing
This is a great business to work around your job. You sell other people's products and earn commissions without having to do any of the fulfilment of transactions. You only need to develop an automated process that would drive online shoppers to sites using your affiliate links and all the work is done by the product owners, even while you sleep! You only need to spend some time automating your system; setting up your website, landing pages and ad campaigns and check your accounts for activity.

Sell with E-commerce
You can also sell physical products with an E-commerce business. You do not need to develop anything that's not already existing. All you need to do is to order products at a fraction of the sales price and set up a sales system that allows you to leverage existing infrastructure.

Sellers like Amazon FBA provide storage, packaging, and shipping assistance to you. The program allows sellers to ship their merchandise to an Amazon fulfilment centre, where items are stored in warehouses until they are sold. All you need to do is list the products online and set up marketing and ad campaigns to make those sales happen. You can do this around your job in just one or two hours a day.

Please consider the following
Your initial sales would usually be the hardest. As soon as you've made over ten sales, you'll have the confidence that you can do it all over again, and grow!. You will know precisely how many sales you need to make each week and each month to replace your income eventually.

Most people want to know how long this would take. My mentors have seen so many different results, and say that people take anywhere from 2 days to 12 months to make the first ten sales. It comes down to your commitment to learning the digital skills you need to succeed, and whether you have picked the right product for the market you're selling in.

If you are serious about starting a business and are looking for a genuine way to do it around your day job without huge startup costs and limited earning potential, then check out this FREE video series that's helped a lot of people just like you to start an online business while keeping their day jobs.

It's free to register and get the basic training, and it's void of all the usual hype and false promises you see online, so please don't worry about being taken for a ride!

Which Nigeria matters dey Angola sef?

Oro yi su mi o, Nigerians all over the place in different countries and their actions are used as a yardstick for other Nigerians who have no inkling of who they are or what they might be doing.

Just a rant, not referring to the op.

Abi some Nigerians are of Angolan descent ni?
It's just a rant until it happens to you.

It's really unacceptable! The way this airline treats it's customers. I wish we could make them compensate passengers for delayed luggage and cancelled flights. Such occurences have become a norm and sadly, Nigerians are accepting the rubbish these guys at Arik dish out on a daily basis. I wish this would go to the front page...
Travel / Another International Blunder From Arik Air! by engrbrume(m): 8:30pm On Apr 22, 2016
A very sad passenger shared this on her Facebook page this morning....

This a letter to Arik Air to complain abiut the flight from Angola to Nigeria on Wednesday the 20th of April. First of, this flight was to leave Luanda at 2:00am. It was delayed till about 4:00am with no explanations given at all. Bear in mind that we had children flying that time of the night.
Ok. Got into the plane and the toilet smells worse than a pit laterine. This is an international flight for goodness sake!! If this was all I wouldn't come here to write, I would keep quiet as we all do in Nigeria but no it wasn't.
We arrived about 7:00am. Exhausted from a very turbulent flight. Passed through immigrations very smoothly and started to wait for our luggage. Please take note that we were basically the first people to be there at the time so we can't say it was because other luggages from other flights were also coming through. After waiting for over 2 hours. The truth came out! Our luggage was left behind in Luanda. Why??
Every single piece of my baby's clothing, food, wipes, drugs, toys, toiletries and anything else you think a baby will need. All left at your airport in Luanda. Do you know the implication of this? I came into Lagos and instead of relaxing we had to go out looking for clothes amongst other things.
We were assured of getting our luggage today. This morning my husband has called and was told it would not be till Sunday. Is this even right? In this economic crunch why should we be forced to buy things that we already have? Why can you guys not be professional for once?
Because you are used to Nigerians accepting nonsense.
Please I want my luggage back. And I expect nothing to be missing from it. Not even one item.

It looks like a clean tokunbo to me, not brand new. . .

and 25 million for what? This car is still sold for under 30k euros toks. . .

Anyways, happy sales!

it would cost him at least 20 million to land this car in Lagos. Then he has to sell the car and buy forex to get another one if he's a car dealer. How much do you expect him to sell it?

Politics / Please Sign This Petition For High Speed Rail In Nigeria by engrbrume(m): 11:01am On Mar 27, 2016
Nigeria is interconnected by about 108,000 kilometers of surface road and almost 4000 kilometers of rail. The problem is, while it has the largest road network in West Africa, large portions of the network are prone to spoilage due to overuse. Nigerian railway on the other hand has been near-moribund since the early 1990s.

Almost 75 percent of food grown in Nigeria's hinterland are prone to spoilage due to the long hours spent conveying goods to commercial centers like Lagos and Port Harcourt; making food relatively expensive compared to a situation where more food could be transported faster across the country.

Nigeria has housing problems particularly in the urban centers like Lagos and Abuja arising from exorbitant rents exacted by landlords due massive rural-urban migration.

With high-speed rail all of these problems can be solved, as people and goods can be moved more swiftly which in turn could improve Nigeria's Human development Index, Gross Domestic Product per capita and general living standards in far reaching ways.

With high speed rail, people like me can afford to live in decent yet affordable suburbs and work in the commercial centers without having to spend six to eight hours which is the average commute time for a worker in Lagos.Less time on the road will help many like me build stronger families and indeed a better society because I will get to be with my family in less time than if there was no high speed rail and I have to travel by road as I now do.

High speed rail will help build stronger local communities as many amenities we have become so accustomed to on the commercial hubs will be made available through better local community partnerships with the local governments and a more effective taxation.

High speed rail will lower housing cost significantly in the urban centers allowing the middle class to swell with more disposable income and an ever improved velocity of money to allow for economic prosperity.

Please join me in this petition to the President of Nigeria and the Eight National Assembly to propose and legislate appropriation for the development of High Speed Rail across Nigeria. ......Nehi Igbinijesu.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Pls I Need To Know More About 'gnld",my Sister Is In Their Net by engrbrume(m): 10:39am On Jan 14, 2016
Salvame:
please it's a matter of urgency,
my sister saw a vacancy and decided to try it out and lo and behold it was GNLD.They have succeeded in convincing her.based on what I have been reading here,I know it's a bad idea but I don't know how to convince her.please nairalanders, tell me about this gnld people so as to save my sister from danger.thank you

GNLD is a network marketing company. There is no such thing as a net. The problem is that people want to start network marketing and become millionaires overnight....then they call it a scam when their so called 'investment' of 80k or less doesn't make them millionaires. I know many people who left their regular 9-5 jobs because they actually took the time to learn the business.

Tell your sister to find someone who is actually making a good living from GNLD and ask the person for advise. Most of the advise you get here would be from failures. I don't think anyone who was serious about writing JAMB went to someone who scored 80 for advise.

I am a proud network marketer with forever living products (dreambigwiththeikoghos dot flp dot com).
Education / Most Common Grammatical Blunder In Nigeria Today by engrbrume(m): 1:53pm On Jan 13, 2016
I can't help but express my irritation at the wrong use of "am" these days. Youngsters who are supposedly secondary school leavers and University graduates use this word wrongly. e.g
Am a graduate of computer science
Am going to school
Am an upcoming actress
Am doing my Master's. ..........The list goes on.

Corrections to the examples above.

WRONG : Am a graduate of computer science
CORRECT : I am a graduate of computer science (or I'm a graduate of computer science)

WRONG : Am going to school
CORRECT :I am going to school (or I'm going to school)

You can use "am" to start a question, e.g. Am I?

I hope someone here benefits from this unambiguous correction. This kind of mistake can make you lose opportunities. I've seen it happen before.

Have a nice day!
Business / Re: MY Toching Mlm Story by engrbrume(m): 10:35am On Jan 12, 2016
If there is no product, then it should not be called multi level marketing. MLM markets real products. Purely referral programs are Ponzi schemes and are not sustainable. One day, they would disappear without a trace.

Business / Re: Who Knows About Forever Living Products? by engrbrume(m): 9:54am On Nov 26, 2015
Lol....Network Marketing is a business, not a hobby. 145 or 150k is a tiny investment to start a business. Now I don't understand your gist about the products not being marketable. Is it the toothpaste, honey,shampoo,make-up, body creams, hand sanitizer, detergent, weight loss and toning products, energy drinks, supplements or animal products that are not marketable? Come on! These are things people buy from shops on a daily basis. You have to know the benefits of your products and sell the value to them. E.g do you know that fluoride is more toxic than lead and only slightly less toxic than cyanide? More people who know this have stopped using fluoridated toothpastes. What about triclosan being carcinogenic? Forever Bright toothgel is purely organic! You probably did not do your homework after signing up! I started this last year and I'm doing well with both product sales and signups.....cos I did my homework , even as a very busy employee.

@OP If you don't have people who will register under you, don't even bother joining. I was paid only 19000 after registering with 145,000 and I still regret throwing my money away. My friend whom I made to register under me wasn't even paid a dime till today. Another bad thing about FLP is that their products are not marketable and u have to keep placing orders for the products monthly and I wonder what one would do with the ordered products since you can't sell them. However, if you have a good number of friends who are ready to part with that huge some and wouldn't mind that they don't have people who would be under their own chain; then its worth investing in if not, u better run.

I started using shoptomydoor when it was known as American airsea cargo. They have satisfied me more than they have annoyed me, and I see efforts made by them to provide a better service. I've shipped large and small items.
