folmus:Thanks so much, bro. I appreciate. |
Greetings to great scholars in the house. I am a graduate of Chemical Engineering with above 4.7CGPA on 5.0 scale. It's nice seeing a platform where I can get insight directly from those who have done things I sincerely aim to do. Please, I have few questions to ask and earnestly await your responses. 1. Which trusted agent(s) can I use for my GRE registration and if possible, the amount they charge? 2. I have some materials at the moment (Kaplan, Grubbers and Manhattan), but I believe the Magoosh videos will definitely be useful if I can find them. Please, how do I get Magoosh videos and other necessary materials you think I should have? 3. I am currently attached with a company for now, and I intend writing the exam early November. The truth is that I have been struggling with combining my study and work, please I need your sincere advice on how to effectively combine both activities. Thanks so much and remain blessed. |
Quite revealing and insightful. Please send to me: ozoforikenna@gmail.com |
SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS We are pleased to announce our 2015-2016 recipient of the Anthony Ihedoha Anaebere, Sr. Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Chinedum Peter Ezeakacha(picture attached) Anambra State, Nigeria PhD student. Systems Engineering. University of Louisiana at Lafayette. 2017 For our inaugural year, we had nearly 50 applicants from Schools of Engineering across the country. We thank all of our applicants for submitting excellently crafted applications and continuing to excel in their respective fields of study. After interviewing our four incredibly talented finalists, Mr. Ezeakacha stood out for his impressive academic journey and future career pursuits. He earned a BSc in Chemical Engineering in 2009 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria in 2009. After graduation, he worked for ExxonMobil in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria as a Facilities Engineer and NG Equipment & System Ltd in Lagos, Nigeria as a Field Systems Engineer. His curiosity for oil and gas exploration lead to study in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he received a Master of Science degree in 2014. His interest in Petroleum Engineering stemmed from the desire to improve on the existing quality of petroleum exploration, using the most efficient and cost effective methods available with consideration of environmental, health, and safety issues. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Systems Engineering, where he is focusing on Casing while Drilling, an advanced drilling technology used when unable to use conventional drilling operations. He is also interested in mentorship and paying it forward, where he plans to “offer financial support to outstanding Nigerian students back home with burning desire to harness their academic abilities in the world’s best institutions […] simply because of the unbelievable turnaround story behind my coming to and academic success in the United States.” We congratulate you, Mr. Chinedum Ezeakacha for an extraordinary story of triumph and academic achievement. His recommender, Dr. Abdennour Seibi, Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, had this to say about Mr. Ezeakacha: I have known Mr. Ezeakacha as a teaching assistant at the University of Louisiana (UL) and he proved to be one of my favorite TAs ever… He grasps any new materials very swiftly, asks very challenging questions and excels in all subject matters…I can classify him as a world class student…He is a leader and well received by his colleagues, University of Louisiana faculty and staff. I admire his keenness and commitment to lifelong learning [and] his achievements speak for themselves… The department of Petroleum Engineering is proud to have a student of his caliber. We would also like to acknowledge our three other finalists: Mr. Oluwafemi Richard Oyeleke Lagos, Nigeria PhD student. Computer Science. Iowa State University. Ames, IA. Ms. Sarai Nwagbaraocha Snow Hill, Maryland B.S. Electrical Engineering Student. Morgan State University. Baltimore, MD. Mr. Taiwo Orogbangba Ikotun, Lagos, Nigeria M.S. Computer Science Student. ELECTRIC POWERBIKE MADE IN UNIZIK With final year projects making the waves in Unizik, UNIZIKMATA presents to you another Team of Zikites that has assembled in same line of creativity to produce a made in Nigeria ELECTRIC POWER BIKE which they have named EBS ONE. This team of Mechanical Engineering Students comprises of ONYEBUCHI CHINONSO, OVOKE PAUL, CHIKA PAUL, UDORA EDISON, NWAFOR PAULING, and from the department of Electrical Engineering VICTOR IKEH TOCHUKWU. The project(EBS ONE) has to do with having an electrical system in place of internal combustion engine of a motorcycle. This electrical system comprises mainly of; the batteries, a DC motor, the gear system, and an inverter. The batteries power the motor which in turn moves the gear to bring about the movement of the rear wheel. i.e batteries>motor>gear>rear wheel. The idea of this project is to reduce the dependence on fuel for motorcycles and reduce ozone layer depletion by carbon compounds due to combustion of fuels. They fabricated their own Chasis(skeleton). It has the shape of a moderb day powerbike. They also made use of Solidworks application,Autodesk Inventor and Matlab for different simulations.Everything involving the project was done in the school's workshop. The power system comprises of a 12Volts 6Amps battery, an electric motor and some other materials which were gotten. Indeed, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka is really producing qualified and competitive engineers. Source: www.unizikmata.com/2015/10/electric-powerbike-made-in-unizik.html?m=1

Before disruption there were 7 birds at the top and 5 birds at the bottom Explanation/Analysis: Let the letter 'B' denote a bird INITIALLY TOP ~ B B B B B B B BOTTOM ~ B B B B B CASE 1 TOP ~ B B B B B B (When one bird has been taken from the Top to the Bottom) BOTTOM ~ B B B B B B (The addition made the number of birds to be same) CASE 2 TOP ~ B B B B B B B B( One bird has been added to the Top from the Bottom) BOTTOM ~ B B B B ( The loss of one bird here made the new population at the Bottom to be half that at the Top) #MATHEMATICALLY TOP BOTTOM Originally 7 Birds + 5 Birds =12 Birds Case 1 : 6 Birds + 6 Birds = 12 Birds Case 2 : 4 Birds + 8 Birds = 12 Birds |
