Travel / Re: 6 Reasons Why Nigeria Is A Better Place To Live Than Foreign Country by engrdubem(m): 7:21pm On Mar 15, 2019
Hadampson:
So Amazingly, there are ways Nigeria is better than foreign country. But most people think foreign is a best home, which is totally wrong.

Below are 6 genuine reason why Nigeria is a better place to live than foreign.

Immigration law

Racial discrimination

Custom and Culture differences

Freedom of speech and movement

Tax levy differences.

Security threat to non indigene.

In case you're thinking of relocating from Nigeria to Foreign country, as a Nigerian i want you to consider the following points of view before taking any steps.

Though, am not discouraging you from achieving your dream but I'd like to share you some reasonable point which is very crucial to your well-being. But before i dash into the main point let me quickly share you some experience.
I was with my lecturer one day, he told me there's a time he was hired as a visiting lecturer in USA.

As he was about going back from lecture hall to his room at the hotel he lodged to, someone came across his way and greeted him very well. In appearance he dress like a road scrubber but he is a Nigerian, the person told him he's one of his students then in university of Ilorin.

Without wasting time the lecturer asked him never to greet him again. Saying "you're a type that useless Nigerian certificate in foreign country, it is better for to work as conductor serving your country than serving eyinbo"
In your own view what did you think about the short story, the professor feel him self?
Quietly No, he's just trying to encourage the young man to always value the resources God gave him (Certificate)

Imagine, have you ever see oyinbo people doing this type of job in Nigeria. This is so ridiculous..

So now I'm going to give full details on the aforementioned point above; why Nigeria is a better place to live than foreign country

http://www.dailyggists.com.ng/2019/03/6-reason-why-nigeria-is-better-place-to.html?m=1

Oga you lie......it is better to clean dishes abroad than to be conductor in Nigeria 1million times....who Nigeria conductor help

dejol88:
Sequel to the just concluded elections , I have decided to get out of this country forever. To be sincere i have raised 6 million naira in cash but dont want to invest it here due to unfavorable climate .

Kindly list out 1st world country i can relocate to and the steps to take to achieve it.

Your kind input would forever be appreciated

Don't go anywhere.
Invest that your money in Nigeria.
The grass is not always greener at the other side.
Nigeria is a good place for investment if you have capital and 6million is not beans.
You are and engineer, don't know your core area but you can set up a company with little manpower and you will make real money.Be guided.
Travel / Re: Nigerian Woman Begging On The Streets Of Canada. Photos by engrdubem(m): 8:36pm On Feb 05, 2019
dainformant:
A man was left outraged after seeing a Nigerian woman begging on the streets of Canada. The woman when questioned by the Canadian man, said she left Nigeria to have a good life abroad.

She also claimed to have finished from York University in Toronto, Canada and even got a job which has ended.

She also revealed that the Canadian government pays her but the money is small as she has to pay for her rent, take care of her son and that things have been difficult for them.

When she was asked why she can't have a good life in Nigeria, the woman said the economy is bad and that the leaders are corrupt.

The Canadian man also blasted Nigeria as he berated citizens for leaving their country to seek for better life abroad rather than take care of their own country.

Meanwhile, internet users have reacted to the trending video below.

See am.

My friend went to Canada on a permanent residency and in a month, he had three jobs to choose from. Even after he got a good job, he was still being called for interviews.

There are people in Canada (Nigerian women) who cook our local soup to sell. I hear a five litre soup bowl of stew goes for 40-50 Canadian dollars.

There has to be something she can do sha. Begging isn't just it.

Look here, I don't hate Obiano. I am just stating the facts. Peter Obi is the reason why Obiano had so much money to play around with and everybody is thinking he is a miracle-worker, nwanne you and I know that is the truth. As for my state, OVI would have done even more better than Obiano if he had that kind of money left for him by his predecessor. But even with that, Abia is getting better, and you know it.

Wailers........be consoling yourself you hear.........Abia is suffering from leadership delinquency.....

I apologise for the long break. I've had quite a lot on my plate of late. In addition, for the first time ever, I stumbled on what they call writer's bloc. cheesy I know how the work would end of course but too many missing links inbetween. Please bear with me as i try to fill these in.

I'm glad we made front page but I kinda felt bad for the new readers as i'd already taken down some chapters in order to protect my work. I am working on something that would address this. I should resume God willing this weekend. Many thanks.
I have seen the same experience on Lagos Ibadan Express road before getting to Alausa last year. Aboki carried two passengers and they ran into incoming vehicle bleeding seriously.

Trust Lagosians, nobody waits. The irony of the scene was that the vehicle they used was still on after falling down.

Fashola banned them on highways and restricted Okada plight to some areas, but we were the same people shouting he has done damage: some parties have even gone to the extent of using it against him to score cheap political point during electioneering campaign. Go to Igbobi and see how many lives have been rendered useless through this same okada.

The question to ask is - is it Fashola's son the one I am seen inside this pics? Nigerians and our naïve way of thinking.

oga say what you are sure of.........after campaigning with okada he banned them, imported his own bike *fashola bike* that had immunity from arrest. ........who is fooling who..........
the roads are bad, traffic is terrible ,if the roads were good who will fly okada...eeh kwa?
