Politics / Re: Supreme Court Nullifies Kenyan Election; All Eyes On Nigerian Judiciary (video) by Eniitankorede: 2:53pm On May 07, 2023
tonywonder:
Kenyan citizens and indigenous people celebrated wildly after the Kenyan presidential election was declared invalid by the Supreme Court.

The ferocious celebration in the streets demonstrated that the initial declaration of results did not accurately reflect the people's votes.

The people are pleased because real justice has been done! The people of Kenya will now hold new elections!

The Nigerian judiciary is under scrutiny!

Another headless method of comparing oranges with pineapples. In Nigeria, the rightful owner of the mandate is having it. You can continue to wail about it, but make sure you don’t cry.

People like you like playing the Ostrich whenever you want to prove a false narrative.

You are accusing Peter Obi and the Church of using religion to deceive Lagosians in the last election. However you fail to mention that Tinubu and APC ran a muslim-muslim ticket after consulting muslim leaders in a bid to use religion as a political weapon to win the core north.

Hence if Tinubu and APC initiated the idea of using Islam as a campaign strategy in 2023 election , why are you now blaming Peter Obi and Labour party for countering them by using Christianity as their own weapon ?

Did Governor El-Rufai not boast on national TV that the vote of Christians are insignificant in the north hence the votes of muslims will swing victory for Tinubu ?

You did not accuse El- Rufai of declaring a religious war in Nigeria but when Peter Obi reacted by stating that the election has unfortunately be turned into a religious war, bigots like you suddenly accused him of declaring a religious war in Nigeria.

Hence I am not surprise that you attributed every efforts of the youths to point out the failures of Buhari government to IPOB. That was how Tinubu attributed the killing of Afeneifere leader's daughter to Evans.

According to you, IPOB told yoruba youths to assault the Oba of Lagos and yoruba youths obeyed the instructions of IPOB. If that is truth, then IPOB actually selected the Oba of Lagos. If IPOB can sponsor endsars protest in Lagos, then it means that yorubas are slave in their own land.

Complete gibberish. No substance and truth in your vituperations. A bunch of cock and bull stories.

Continue screaming Ipob there.

The yoruba elites or leaders how have they helped the ordinary yoruba man. How have they improved the society to the benefit of the yoruba masses. You see igbos contributions yo develop their land. Yoruba elites only care about themselves and spraying Wasiu at parties. The young yorubas want a change and will not let the old thrives use tribalism to deceive us.

You are liar. Igbo lands are the worst. That’s why they run to Lagos in night buses. No yoruba runs to igbolands for anything. Nothing is progressing in the east. Yorubalands have industries, 70% of industries are located in yoruba land. We are very magnanimous by employing jobless igbo youth in our lands. That’s why you are talking the rubbish. Is it a land that IPOB has destroyed with sit at home you want to compare with peaceful yoruba lands?

Continue deceiving yourself. If English is your lingua Franca then it becomes mandatory for you to be very fluent in it if you claim to be educated.

When you're asked to right exam on IELTs or similar ones as a prerequisite for job or admission, just tell them it's not necessary because English is not a measure of intelligence or knowledge. SMH.

Stop talking, English is just a language. Not a measure of intelligence. You have a problem with inferiority complex.

You can only claim your thing was stolen if you had that thing in the first place. After the elections, the winner was declared and given the certificate of return as proof of the mandate. The mandate that was given to the rightful owner and anybody laying claims to it is actually the thief.

I agree with you. There is no stolen mandate when there was no owner of mandate except Tinubu. Others are the ones trying to steal his mandate.

Did Atiku also use religious politics to confuse die hard followers of Tinubu in Osun?

The bitter truth is that the people of Lagos and Osun know Tinubu's secrets more than the people from the other 34 states.

For them to both reject Tinubu means that he is very corrupt and incompetent because charity begins from home.

Adeleke used money to rig for Atiku. His waterloo is waiting At Supreme Court this week. Lagos was a case of using religion to confuse the Yorubba people who did not know there is IPOB agenda with Obi. We told them but they refused to listen because their daddy GO told them it was a religious war. Have they won the war now? And when Chinedu came in the true colour of IPOB they then realised that they have been deceived. That’s how IPOB deceived a few yorubas to join EndSARS protest, not knowing it is an IPOB agenda, until when they heard the radio message of Nnamdi Kanu, and they saw how the Oba of Lagos palace was damaged, how BRT buses were burnt, how TVC was burnt. That's when they realised this was an IPOB agenda.

I thought good turn deserves another. There is this narrative pushed upon and down that Tinubu made Lagos the best in everything and the same Lagosians rather gave their support to Peter Obi. If we are anywhere logical, the recent presidential election in Lagos state should put to rest such narratives

Peter Obi on the other hand won almost 100% of the votes in Anambra. That shows the acceptance of Anambrarians on his achievement as a governor.

Shut up!!! Obi used religious politics to confuse die hard followers of Tinubu in Lagos. But he was paid back in his coin in governorship election. Obi can never win Lagos again. Even if all igbos sleep in polling boots for him.

You live there, congratulations! Some people were born there, and have lived there all their lives.

Again, the king is not the 'president', if he were, he would have been called and addressed as such. Perhaps you should study up on the duties and powers of a president in a presidential system. The powers and duties of a president does not begin and end with being the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. The king is a ceremonial head of state not the president.
You should study the differences between a Presidential and Parliamentary systems of government, it might also be a good investment of time to study the government, customs and traditions of where you live.

You keep arguing. I never told you the king is president in Uk. I only stated that he has powers like that of President in a parliamentary system. And UK is the first parliamentary system in the world.

There's no president, there's a prime minister (head of government) and a king (ceremonial head of state).

Please stop arguing with us. We live there. The king is just not ceremonial. He is the head of state and commander in chief of armed forces. The prime minister is just the head of government. He has no control over the military.

The youth without exaggerations are the ones to save this country from the total collapse it is dangerously tottering to. Nigerian youths during the Endsars movement exercised a little of their influence and power and SARS an influential unit of the Nigerian police collapsed.
The politicians who have ofcourse perfected their plan and their total hold on the country have continued to exploit tribalism as their last card to controlling the youths. Even when other tools, plans or cards failed they already know the ethnic card won't fail.

However, during the just concluded presidential election, that ethnic card was grossly innefective and weakened. The youth through the instrument of enlightenment by various players from Nnamdi Kanu, Fals, Macaroni, PSquare, etc and finally by the Obidient movement led by His Excellency Peter Obi are finally at home with what must be done to save Nigeria and the work is continueing

For those who are yet to be enlightened, tribalism only serves the interest of the ruling class and their associates. Bad leadership affects everyone it doesn't matter the ethnic group u belong to.

How many of these industries are owned by Ogun indigenes so that we can know what group economics is

Like Anambra 95% of industrial activities there are owned by Anambra folks making the money stay in the state

But in Ogun there is what is called capital flight! Investors pay indigenous folks peanuts ,declare anything as profit then oay paltry tax and repatriate the rest money back to home

So once again how many Ogun people owns industry in Ogun state or are they just workers ?

You should shut up!!! This mentality of shutting out outsiders can never make your society grow. Many industrialised countries attract foreign direct investment and technology to grow and develop. Examples include Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, London, New York etc. You need others to come and develop your place and transfer wealth and technology to you.
