[quote author=originalmachine post=41038685]..you will also show me that part of the constitution that says entrepreneurs should not CHARGE money for services rendered, just like DOKPESI did, or the unknown blogger, and the other one claiming to collect money for SPIRITUAL services rendered....these are entrepreneurs no matter their line of business, one own a TV station, another a BLOGGER, and the other a SPIRITUALIST... or is it illegal to operate any of these businesses ?[/quote

Here is a poser for you;........ if Dokpesi and his goons (but Raymond Dokpesi in particular) knew before the March General elections that Buhari was gonna win that election,......would a Dokpesi have collected payment for those dirty campaign ADVERTORIALS (or any PDP campaign adverts for that matter) which aired on AIT from the NBA, or even from any agent of Governmenthuh

OZAOEKPE:
YOUR OWN CASE NA DIE, JUST LIKE THE STUBBORN FLY THAT FOLLOWS THE CORPSE TO THE GRAVE. I HATE YOU FOR THIS BROhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh
The mistake some gullible folks are making here is equating Buhari collecting 2 SUV (as a former President/ie in his capacity as a former Head of State) from Dasuki/FGN to Dokpesi et al collecting slush funds for Dasuki/FGN (for purposes strictly PDP-related).
The error in judgement of Dokpesi et al is it's wrong in every ramifications for them to have collected payment for PDP-related issues from the NSA. Even if those payments had been made by the Minister of Finance, or the CBN Governor, or any any agent of Federal/State Government, it would have been blatantly wrong, and Dokpesi and Co would have still been in this same mess today.
PDP and PDP only should have paid Dokpesi and his goons. The least GEJ and his thieving goons should have done was wire those monies into PDP's accounts, and paid their campaign contractors and election manipulators (read Dalhatu Bafarawa, Odili, Bode George, Ayumi et al) straight out of PDP account. The narration today could have been less messy.
Here is a poser for Wailers; if Dokpesi and his goons (but Raymond Dokpesi in particular) knew before the March General elections that Buhari was gonna win it,......would a Dokpesi have collected payment for those dirty campaign ADVERTORIALS (or any PDP campaign adverts for that matter) which aired on AIT from the NSA?

You certainly do not know how much mtn has milked this Nation. Mtn could have conveniently paid twice the original fine and still be in business. The fact that the fine was reduced is simply a pointer to the level of corruption in our country,.....since assuming office, this mtn fine thing is the only project the minister of communication has busied himself with. At a point, I even thought he was mtn's spokesman.

Pavarottii:
My brother 49k can vote. Get ur info right b4 coming here.
Pavarotti, am sorry to say this, but you are the one who has refused to be informed. Number of registered voters per state, per local government, per ward is public information, at least since as far back as Feb 2015. And so is the number of registered voters with PVC, per state, per local government, and per ward.
The polling units were supplementary elections would hold next month has a total of 49,000 registered voters, but only 25,000 of this 49,000 have PVC. I hope you now see the futility in the threat of the igala man?
The only way 49,000 can vote in kogi's supplementary election is if Card Readers and PVC won't be used, as it was used in the main election. That is the only way Wada can stand a chance,.....a very remote chance of returning to Lugard House, lokoja for a 2nd term. If Wada had honour, he ought to have conceded defeat already sef.

igala people will vote for wada of pdp. they wont allow bello to rule them.
Yea, perhaps in 2019. But for this supplementary election, let every adult in the igala nation vote Wada, APC would still win Kogi gubernatorial elections by a margin of at least 16,000 votes.
At the moment, APC is leading by a margin of 41,000 votes. The polling units were supplementary elections would hold next month has a total of 49,000 registered voters, but only 25,000 of this 49,000 have PVC. I hope you now see the futility in the threat of the igala man? When hausa traditional rulers were massively mobilizing their people to collect their PVCs, the rest of the country was either too busy or were simply sleeping.
This Kogi gubernatorial election has long been won by APC,...... Wada and his igala tribesmen should try their luck again come 2019.

Any govt who uses tax payers money to give NPF brand new Ford Focus saloon cars, Ford Ranger, or even Toyota Hilux is a wasteful and clueless govt at the least.
Until there is a total overhaul of our Police Force, and a paradigm shift in the conduct of both officers and the rank & file, govt should simply give tokunbo vehicles (whose cost price per unit isn't more than N900k) to our Police Force.

PoliticsRe: Buhari, Fashola And The Return Of Idiagbon By Ayo Alaba Idowu by enitiObanke(m): 8:06pm On Nov 14, 2015
Ymodulus:
What a pretty piece! Well articulated. I was moved to comment, because i love your article.

Can one say that Buhari has a thing for yoruba's with the name Tunde? - First it was TUNDE Idiagbon, next was TUNDE Bakare and now TUNDE Fashola.

PMB understands what vital tools he needs to drive home this gospel of change.

Idiagbon happens to be a leader whose legacies still span into our modern economy, judging by the strides Fashola achieved during his tenure as the Lagos State government, we can safely say he has created a record. However I have a few concerns, as the task ahead of him now is more bigger than that of he encountered at the state level.

At the state level, Fashola consolidated on his predecessor's work, this made things easier for him. Today this is not the case as the PDP government had no clear agenda or objective after the sack of Prof. Barth Nnaji and as a result Fashola has the herculean task of starting from the scratch.

Nevertheless, My informed sentiment is optimistic that he will perform, but we should not expect a miracle.
Guy, if you know the antecedents of BRF, and you listen to him speak (no politician in Nigeria today is more articulate than BRF and Prof Osinbajo), then you would know that Fashola is a performer, a trail blazer, a do is talk and talk is do. Forget it, Power, Works and Housing are in for the shock of their lives.
Imagine if GEJ had won the 2015 Presidential election,..... Obanikoro will have represented Lagos in the federal cabinet as against Fashola!

....there is nothing creative about this piece from Abati,....he is a learner where people like Pius Adesanmi, Okey Ndibe, and Olumhense Sonala write. The hypocritical Abati was too busy plundering our common wealth with GEJ he forgot to admonish his boss to attach portfolios to all the ministerial list GEJ sent to the Senate during his 6yrs rule.
Buhari has bin in the saddle 2 weeks shy of 6months and Abati is here pontificating,.....and you call it creativehuh
PoliticsRe: Ministerial Portfolio: Buhari Has Successfully Northernised The Security Sector by enitiObanke(m): 9:53pm On Nov 12, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
There is nothing like "competence" in the appointment. Are you saying that NO southerner is competent enough to handle Interior and Defence ministries? Or you think we don't know that the Defence ministry get the highest budgetary allocation? Not even a minister of state of either ministry was created for southerners. This is in addition to the office of National Security Adviser that went to the North. Is Buhari not the one promoting sectionalism?
TonyeBarcanista honestly you have lost it. You have lost every sense of decorum, and your intellect has failed you woefully.
I will love to meet you in person,.....are you a ++graduate? Which higher institution did you finish from?.........am ashamed I belong to the same generation of Nigerian youth as someone that reasons from his ass like you.

Acceleration wise, perhaps the Accord will dust the C230, but it ends there. On a long stretch of road, the C230 will eventually beat the Accord hands down. Most 2007 C230 are V6. It's the 2005/06 C230 Kompressor that is usually I4

Aufbauh:
It is expected and long overdue.
I fully realized that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice.
Mr Lamorde have lost his reputations as an anti-graft czar long time ago, he was only trying to please the new sheriff by his renewed vigour of late.
Yea, its a known fact that Lamorde lost it a while back. But is the way forward appointing a Lamorde loyalist? Because, anyway we look at it, Magu will always see Lamorde as his benefactor,.....Magu will always be indebted to Lamorde. How can a man as compromised as Magu be the one to take over from Lamorde? He is going to simply bury Lamorde's under hand deals, and protect his erstwhile comrade and benefactor.
It has become clear to me that Buhari doesn't really have the political will to combat corruption in Nigeria,....yea he has the moral will, and the 'body language', but what are those gonna get ushuh
Am a Buharist, but the earlier Nigerians come to terms with the reality on ground, the better for us all. Buhari will just do his little best, he is not exactly the game changer we erroneously assumed he is.

I watched it too
Guy it plain mediocrity that makes the average Nigerian make excuses for authority. What does the President need more than a 8 to 10 vehicle convoy for?
Do they all have to take off at d same time? His COS, ministers etc could as well take off like 30mins before the President, to go wait for him at their destination. That way less hardship is inflicted on the average Nigerian as a result of presidential movement.

Ride on my President..

We the Good people of SouthEast are solidly behind you, no shaking.
Guy please do not be deceived, all nah smoke screen. If Baba Buhari really means this as a rule of engagement for his ministers then the maximum number of vehicles allowed in a minister's convoy should be stated. A convoy of 7 vehicles ain't long, neither is a convoy of 5 vehicles. If our incoming ministers would ride in a 3 vehicle motorcade then I will begin to believe that this government isn't wasteful like Jona's government. Anything more than a 3 vehicle convoy is simply not acceptable.
