The truly intelligent man is often always knowledgeable, in his own field and more often beyond.

But frankly, i like her and mean no harm.
But then, it isnt just okay to go wit goldie's advice. She doesnt call. But wen we see, she appears very glad and would squint & smile in some funny way. I dont understand. I cant become a fool who'd call daily just to talk. And dont get calld back.

Romance / Can You Drop A Line On What You Think Of Nice People? by eNKe1: 7:52am On Sep 05, 2010
hello,
Didn't find personals, didn't know where to put this, so I decided here. Why, it'll perhaps get more responses.
Just wanted you guys to advise someone dying for it. I don't get to talk to a lot of people, so it's diffifult finding out.
I just happen to be too nice, I guess. I'm always inclined towards helping people, even when it puts me in some dire situations. Why can't I just stop? I dunno. I try, I try, but it's like my life is dependent on it.
Somehow, I get the awkward feeling that people don't appreciate it when they know you'll be willing to help them. Why is this for Christ's sake? I mean, can't they just be glad there's a helping hand? Then again, I just wanted to know what you guys think of those who help "a lot", I mean in any situations, or go the length others scarcely go, perhaps even in a relationship, though not necessarily in a relationship.
I'm just less of a Nigerian to understand all of this.
Then when I try to be harsh, I find it incredibly nauseating; yet my desire is not to be in people's radar all too frequently. Apparently, helping them puts me there, albeit in bad light. Then coupled with this, I go my way; won't fight when annoyed by others, and am extremely polite ( I guess). All of these appear to me to be put-offs, and not in the general line of being "cool". Of course, it isn't that I am dying to be cool, but of course, I don't want to be uncool either!

Note: yab if you want to. you think it will matter?

Politics / Re: Shouldn't Nigerians Abroad Feel Guilty? by eNKe1: 8:01pm On Jan 12, 2010
WHy r u all pissed if u aint all guilty@!?
Nigerians abroad have a lot more to offer Nigeria than they already do. Why dont u stop sending money home so we can completely write you all off as non-existent? I would expect that the job of a nigerian who is greater exposed (maybe in power generation or anything else) would be to come home and help ease the pains a lot more nigerians are going through!

eNKe!:

When you have a coach who believes that some TB is able to give him victory, then why work at all?? When people advise that Nigeria gets a foreign coach, they say so because they know the white guy will put hardwork and diligence above god and TB (TB? ya, TB)  grin

Literature / Re: Tips 4 Reading & Understanding Needed, Ur Meaningful Contributions Pls. by eNKe1: 7:22pm On Jan 12, 2010
Hey guy, I understand perfectly what you mean. You should consider it a strong advantage of yours that you can read the most complex articles/books and understand them. You have to take this further so you'll remember. By doing what

. . . by using what you have just read. Am telling you, it's the only way to make it work. Refer to the article when you make points with friends, refer to it when you write a simple essay, let it matter in your daily life. . . in addition, use this information which you have understood and I assure you, it'll always stay with you.
