Now I have 2.2m to buy a good and attractive car. Emphasis on attractive. I was wondering what options i have for a really good car with a good resale value. Let's say resale in 2 years. Romance / Why Are These Girls So Nice To Me Nowadays? by eNKe1: 7:56pm On May 19, 2013 |
Just out of curiosity. I've really been wondering these days. Okay. I admit they are new girls I have never met earlier, so I can be quite right about this. But why are they all nice to me these days? When I ask a question, they answer all too fervently and immediately. When I sneeze, they say sorry! Wow! When I ask what's up, they say they miss me. When I ask them to a drink, they oblige willingly When I talk about not eating good food for days, they immediately volunteer to cook. Then when they call and ask why I've not called them in a while, I dont give an answer and they have got no problem with that! It's a miracle, if you ask me. These girls were never so easy. Now, am really confused as to whether I've been living in Nigeria all this time Can anybody fathom an reason to this? |

Mr..Cork:I actually do. How much Nigerian is a Nigerian mulatto, though? I think I should consider this option more. Thanks, bro. |

Kosigift: Dearie u've got choices, she's not d last single lady standing. Why would u want to enter d union knowing fully well it isn't worth it judging by ur standards?Good suggestion. But where in the world can one find a Nigerian girl who is non-religious? That's like wanting a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. Pretty much the reason am at loss as to what to do. |
Romance / Re: Should I Compromise? ??? by eNKe1: 12:35am On Apr 12, 2013 |
Yield: If you know you can't take it right now, don't waste her time. Don't waste yours either. Don't marry her if you think you'll divorce later because of the religious difference. There're plenty of women out there who aren't religious. It really doesn't make any sense to be out looking for someone else when you're still with her. Let her go, then find someone with similar beliefs to yours. And she can find someone on par with hers.I do agree with you. But it's not like I've got a choice right now. We may not divorce; or we may. The chances are higher, as I believe her religion will probably drive me crazy. I'll consider your advice. Thanks |

Romance / Should I Compromise? ??? by eNKe1: 8:12pm On Apr 11, 2013 |
SO, Here's the deal: am in a relationship with a girl I like. She's cool and all. But there's one thing; one of several. She is religious; and she could be quite superstitious. My thoughts have always been to marry someone who's more like me: irreligious, non-superstitious, independent, rational and ambitious. But we all know how difficult it is finding a Nigerian girl who is not religious. My bet is, it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a Nigerian girl to renounce religion and all that has to do with it. In the light of these difficulties, my only option is to compromise. That is, go with this girl I like, who is nevertheless so religious that we'll probably separate from each other in only a few years. Her religion drives me crazy; all religions drive me crazy. So, I have got no option at this moment. I'll probably walk down the aisle with her, in the event I'm unable to find someone saner. So, am out here looking for someone saner. . . .for only a period of time. You can reach me, if you are a sane, irreligious girl. Only for a while though, before I eventually make this crushing decision I'm bound to regret. Thanks. In case you are wondering, I was born in the late 80's |
Travel / Re: Has Anyone Flown With Medview Airlines? by eNKe1: 7:21am On Mar 26, 2013 |
Okay. So, I travelled with MedView and will like to share details of the flight. I hope this will help someone else make their own decisions when they decide to travel with MedView: Booking: Booking online is pretty straightforward. MedView's website is good, displaying flight times on multiple dates at the same time. This is in contrast to Arik's site which displays flight times on only one day. Among the options of payment is a kind of Aero's book-on-hold which lasts one day. Check-in: Flight time was 1900hrs. Got to the airport with a shuttle at 1500hrs and was able to check in without problems. Boarding pass is typed out with name, flight number and other details. This is unlike Aero and sometimes Arik(?) who write out your flight details by hand on the boarding pass. Check-in attendant was friendly. Service was prompt. Flight departure time:very punctual. Boarding started exactly 30mins earlier as stated on boarding pass. Flight departed exactly 1900hrs. Never had this kind of service in a long time with either Arik or Aero. Plane:When we got on the tarmac and were about to board the plane, all my admiration for the company kinda sank. The moment I saw the plane, I knew it was a 737, but certainly not a modern one. It looked rather dirty with dust patches on some parts of the plane. It also looked old. Entered the plane and finally confirmed it was a 737-400. 737-400s were last manufactured in 2000, making the plane at least 13 years old. Certainly it'd be much older. Later learnt their fleet has got many 737-400s in it, with perhaps just 1 737-800. Aero has got quite a number of 737-800s. The plane's interior also looked old. Flight:Flight was riddled with turbulence. In spite of that, the Nigerian pilot didn't leave the seatbelt sign turned on. I thought that was unprofessional as flight culture demands seatbelt signs are left turned on if turbulence is much. And it was much! In spite of that, it was a fairly okay flight. Take-off was smooth. Landing was the usual you get with most pilots without finesse. The plane bounced at touchdown. Apparently, nothing to do with plane, but much to do with pilot's competence. Overall, I would say the pilot conducted a good flight. Very few number of people in the plane itself. Evidently, the company is yet to gain wide trust. Crew:Rather unprofessional crew. Reminded me of what someone posted here earlier about that. Chief flight attendant kept screwing up her English as she made several announcements over PA. Crew was friendly though, but always had that hostile "Nigerian girl" look on their faces. They looked poorly dressed and tired, which is forgivable since it was a night flight and they might have had to make several trips already. Before take-off, they continually blared Nigerian songs over the speakers, even some with lewd lyrics. Refreshment was served, handed out. Pretty much the best you can get on a local flight. Conclusion:Landed in lagos, MMA2. Flight was a good one. It was usual and routine, even though I didn't enjoy it cos the state of the plane itself kinda worried me. So, that's the detail for anyone wishing to take MedView on their next local trip. 5 Likes |
