The Nigerian Senate has announced today that THEY decided in a "closed door session" to "COOPORATE" with each other for the "SMOOTH RUNNING" of Nigeria. This is the height of impunity. This was never about the division of the senate but their corruption. They have now all agreed to support their corrupt leader Saraki. They have still not returned the cars even after caution by 2 law firms. Vote to Scrap The Semate. Join The Movement.

Unless you don't want a democracy, a legislature is necessary. What you should be pushing for is a limit on their excesses.

They are obsolete. Not scrapping the Federal Character, but restructing it. Senators must earn minimum wage and all laws must be voted on by the people. Bcoz the senators do represent us.

How then do we make new laws or amend old laws?

We use the Youth and Bills, Bills would be passed and endorsed by LGA youths in States. It is a redundancy. We have Local Govt Chairmen and Senates. Their job roles are exactly the same thing if done properly. We do not need the senate. We need middle aged 30-55 in there guiding the youth and helping us grow. We cannot have 70 year old uneducated men making laws to guide a vastly educated population with an average age of 19. It is not right.

To be honest, I think I am now beginning to understand SE pain. Everything is ust so unjust. Quota, Federal Character, Middle-Belt States being counted as North, The stupid senate house buing cars when people are hungry and we do not have fuel, and nobody is listening. I now completely agree with u North is killing this country. Unwillingness to be educated formally and the hunger for power. YES IT IS A THING. However I do not support a split. We must address this issues. They are unacceptable.

This has nothing to do with IPOB joo. There are things wrong and they must be solved if not people will start considering IPOB. Quota system, Senate, Ali Modu Sherrif, Corrupt people. We need to establish that our oil wells is for the people nt a group of selfish politicians

Guys I believe this quota system is just a hinderance on Nigerians progress. I do not see why people should be favoured [or unpriviledged if u ask me] over others. Every law should apply in the same way to every one in every state. There is no more room for mediocrity in this Modern Nigeria and we have to understand that only people with Formal Education should be given political seats. I do not want to be governed my a mediocre all in the name of "QUOTA". I don't know who supports this

I am with you!!!! We need to actually demand that a bill be passed that establishes a death penalty for corruption. That is the only way we would slove this. Even if we remove Saraki, Ameachi and Tinubu, we would always be fighting one corrupt leader

Imediately a leader is accused: he must step down after he has failed to pass out on the first trial

If found guilty, it is a capital offence and penalized with the death penalty
