I observed most critics of this Bill are from the eastern part of the country. The igbos need to realize that the federal govt owns all the land and territories in Nigeria and it can decide on how it chooses to use every inch of its territory. The fulani's have every right to graze in the SE and there is nothing any one can do about it. It is their right as a Nigerian just like the igbos are the most travelled tribe doing business in every part of the country. We cannot decide to restrict all igbo traders to the east because of the attitude of few bad eggs amongst them likewise the Fulani's. Most Nigerians criticized the federal govt when they decide to create ranches and import grasses from Brazil to graze these cattles so the herder wont roam about. Now the FG is shifting plans to create a grazing site for the herders in every state which is not a bad move by all standards. We are one Nigeria and we must learn to tolerate ourselves and live in peace. We must shun the politics of hatred and tribalism. To scrap one senate member, over 50% OF his/her constituents have to recall them. So each constituent will have to hold a people election as to if to recall ther representative.

Go to US and Europe, it is few people that makes those country great. Many of the people rely on welfare. Generally all over the world, less than 10% of countries population are responsible for the country's greatness.

This is the first true, honest non-white washed comment I have heard on Nairaland. Europe and America got their wealth from Imperialism. And more than half of the population in Europe is on welfare. Less of them are even educated these days and Oxford and Cambridge are just shadows of what they used to be. Even the Europeans themselves are running to Austrailia and New-Zealand.

The people who actually keep Europe running are the Nigerian and Indian Nurses in the health sector, The indian, Chinese and Germans in the Tech sector. Less than 10% of Europeans themselves actually contribute to the society. All they do is hate non-white people and wait for benefits

The EU is a union, so is Nigeria. Nigeria claims to be a federal republic, which means a "federation" of states that operate a democratic form of government. A federation is no much different from a union given that

Scotland wanted to leave the UK and their opinion was subjected to a referendum which was conducted in 2014. If the UK, which is a kingdom that runs on less flexible laws than a supposed Federation like Nigeria, could conduct a referendum on to let the scots decide their own fate, what stops a federal republic from doing the same?

A specific part of a federation or federal republic can always demand and decide to leave a federation if it suits them. Nigeria does not run a monarchy system of government where a King makes all decisions. Nigeria is not Spain or Britain... We should be more like the EU because thats what we are supposed to be.

When the referendum was being held in Scotland, only the scots voted. Other states in the federation cannot decide the fate of the seceding state.

A relevant and best applicable case study would be the splitting of scotland from Britain. That would shed more light on how and why splitting can be done

Again, the EU is not a country. Britain is not governed by the constitution of the EU. The EU has absolutely no business if Britain decides to leave or stay. Because it is like a club. For example when Scotland asked to leave the entire Britain took a referendum. The decision is not just about Igbo's or biafrans. It will affect every single 180 million people in Nigeria. We must make sure everyone is alright with this. I know it is easy to think that the call for Biafra has only to do with what d biafrans want. But Biafra is not a Biafra thing it is a Nigerian thing.

U are asking Nigerians to change everything they stood for change all systems and constitutions to accommodate Biafra's split. We must be absolutely Sir that it is economically and socially necessary not tribal and prejudicial hatred.
