Was expecting anyone with first hand experience to respond. Usually difficult to include an above 18 years child as a dependant…unless you can show incapacitation on the part of the child. The ECO will see the child as an adult that shouldn’t be tied to the parent’s apron strings any longer…

Good day everyone. An applicant has a child who clocked 18 last December and UK rules says, a child that is 18 or over is considered to be an adult, so they cannot apply as dependents. She want to find out from people who has tried applying with the age and got the visa. Anybody in tbis situation or knows someone who has successfully scaled through before. You know that if there is a strike no amount of link would make an difference. .... the only option with be direct contact with someone in the school

Also ielts is 89k,UK naric is £140 meaning ielts is cheaper so if you have any issues with strike. Its in your best interest to go do exam

Family application of 4. (Applied for family members, a father and 3kids).
Purpose: family reunification to join mother and daughter who are international students.

Application date: GC Key - Nov 27, 2021
Biometrics: Nov 29, 2021 (only father & oldest child, other two children are below 10yrs). After 14days and no feedback I decided to try the new portal.
Re-application on New Portal: Dec 13, 2021
(After 14days and no feedback I started sending scattered emails now and then, afterwards I noticed eligibility began.

Then nothing again for one month, so I started sending emails again (now consistently morning and night to IRCC Nairobi, from early Feb for about two weeks).

Feb 25: BVL
Mar 1: PPR for all 4 of them ( 4days after Bvl).

IRCC likes us to disturb them with emails, lol. Sometimes it’s what propels them to look into your application.
