carsprayer: Can we gate crash? Where is the location? I really hope he answers this before the test time. It won't be bad to gate crash. What is the worse that can happen? They deny us entry into the test all. It won't take anything from our body. Also was the advert (NDIC) made public? |

lizabeet: Good morning,I need to ask a question here. Do Chevron ask for money From their applicant for I'd check.o?
"It should be noted that you are mandated to pay a fee for the IDCheck.io solution process, and be paid early enough before your interview date, if you are interested in the job. You are eligible to pay the IDCheck.io solution process fees hence has been successfully short-listed for a competency-based interview." From Chevron.
I need a clear answer, thanks. SAM! SCAM!! SCAM!!! |

Gerrard59: My issue with the poster - ibuildstuff - is that he claims he knows persons working in the industry yet is making false statements here and there. As for Seplat, I knew about her payscale when she last did her recruitment exercise in 2017 (I even wrote about the process on NL). She is Nigeria's highest paying indigenous oil and gas company.
Nonetheless, thanks for your reply. You are welcome Just ignore the guy, that is the best.. |
Career › Re: Oil And Gas Industry Salary: According To Positions by ennyj01(m): 4:26pm On Dec 20, 2020 |
Gerrard59: I am beginning to sound like a broken record but the oil industry is not the same as other industries where their main products/services depends on the purchasing power of the country of operation. The industry pegs her remuneration to global standards because staff from Country A can be moved to Country B and same remuneration should irrespective of living costs or standards of both countries. That is, someone from Nigeria who is moved to Norway should earn what is obtainable of the industry and vice versa. So, because 2M looks big to you, it means no oil company can pay the figure? You mentioned Shell paying 1M meanwhile I stated Total paying 2M. Are they the same companies? Must they pay same amount? From your other comments in this thread, you are putting letters into people's fingers by stating things they never mentioned.
Take it from me, Total Nigeria (Exploration division) pays entry-level graduates 2M before tax. However, it is your prerogative to believe or not after noting that where your knowledge ends, another person's starts.
Thank you. Bro don't try to convince them, they won't believe you or they will argue blindly. I have been reading some comments here and I shake my head. The last ExxonMobil GT program that was concluded last year, the total pay on the offer letter was around 36 million gross for MSc and around 33 million gross for ordinary BSc and the monthly pay is around 1.6 million net. Upfront is paid twice a year. The figure I gave above is not based on hearsay, this is something my eyes confirmed myself from the appointment letter that was dished out. A lot of people are shallow minded, when they don't know something and someone that knows tells them, they will be so quick to call someone a bluff. The most annoying thing is that they don't know a single soul working in such company that they can ask, and since the money is so huge compared to what they can ever imagine, they will believe people are lying. Even indigenous companies like SEPLAT pays GT a sum of 9 million naira gross, now what is your mind telling you and IOC will pay? Sometimes before you discredit anyone, please try and do research before arguing blindly and if you can't find any info, please hold your peace and stop showing your ignorance and embarrassing yourself. Just pray you get there.. If you like come and counter my figures above, it is normal here. |

emvicks2: It is true that there maybe fake sources. But please don't discredit anyone who make a move to give us information, even if that info does not turnout to be so. I remember in NNPC thread a guy with the moniker BAHLER (the picture guy) many people doubted and discredited his information just because it was not favourable, some called him the picture guy because the guy even uploaded a picture he took during the NNPC GMD sons wedding to prove his point. Eventually it turned out that his source was among the most legitimate source. They don't know I see many new accounts discrediting people here, if only you know. The source won't always be 100%, but there are genuine guys here. It is left for you to accept what you want and reject want you don't want. What SFCommander2 is facing is even small Marvel faced things worse than this When APL came out, people that criticized him where still the same people quoting him and begging for info, any type of info. |

Iliyasdass: Oga, hope say no be bobo you dey give us here too? Most of us know you very well from Army SSC/DSSC recruitment thread for always giving false information.. We just dey wonder how every recruitment thread you dey get source..Your matter don cast for army thread na here u come dey use us catch cruise...
Believe this guy at your own peril LOL.. The thing is that we don't know who have the real source, we have gotten 2 already on this NCDMB thread, Newcastle and one other guy like that. From the time of DPR and NNPC People will surely come and give source and most times the source does not come to existence, but they are always legit. For now we don't know if he is legit or not, but instead of talking down on him or discrediting peoples effort since we can't verify, it is best to look and ignore. |

Emzenoz: abi ? Beginning to get tired of all these half baked sources stories.... Half baked sources, but you are yet to contribute one tangible thing on this thread. Let those that have something to say, say it. You must not always believe everything you see here or take everything to heart. You can look and ignore if you feel it is not substantial enough. Stop talking down on people's effort. Do you think it is that easy to get info? Even people we are damn close to such as relative/close friends, we know how hard it is to get info from them. So bro if you don't like the info shared here, you can just ignore. Since the beginning of this thread, we have been saying it that you all should take anything you see here with a pinch of salt, I think you totally ignored that. At the end we will all be fine. |

IMAMofPEACE: 800k after tax, do you mean when you add the upfront and divide by 13 months?
I don't think 400k is possible though, imagine spending 6 years and you earn a little above 400k.
Me I will sha take it if it comes my way. It is better than nothing |

SFCommander2: Only God can show you the way baba LOL, I just went through your post on Nairaland and I see you have a sponsor. Even if your sponsor will get you a slot, that does not mean people won't get the job legitimately. Don't try and put fear in people's body please. Let people believe in whatever theory they wanna believe in, thank you. |

cheifdaddy: This implies merit based recruitment and certainly those with connect (if we're not kidding ourselves). But mostly merit based.
CV (experience level, course of study etc), score in test + states and quota. Interview is highly unlikely.
Again I wish y'all the best.
*Pay anyone at your own risk. They need you people hence the recruitment, a lot of positions to fill. Stay positive, pray and hope for the best. I want to get something straight, if the recruitment goes that route without interview, it will definitely not be merit based anymore. My reasons: How many do they wanna employ? Imagine for engineering GT, like 10k people met the recruitment that was advertised during the advert. From the 10k people, 3k scored above 60%, so tell me, how will the selection take place because it will be damn hard choosing guys since people that passed are much for the role. Unless someone can explain how they intend picking successful candidates without interview and the explanation should be logical enough. Without that, I don't think it will be possible to select without interview.. The moment they scrap interview connection will be a very big factor. It won't take anything to formulate test result. Even when they do interview and test, they still formulate results for people that were absent, now imagine in cases like this. |
