I boil tap water and put in the flask.. Mbok Giddyperson help me out here.. My baby started with SMA gold the day she was born cos I had not started milking on the first day.. She continued taking the formula till 8days ago when she started spitting it out to concentrate on breast milk.. Plz I want to try another formula, am thinking she just doesn't like the SMA anymore.

NB: She's 2weeks and three day today
How's ur breast.milk supply now?

Biko mamas that give formula what water do you boil and put in the flask for making formula. Is it tap water or Eva water. Or is it ok if I just take hot dispenser water. Cc Hunn..iesuzzie Jaz..zyjazz Be..yedew Enque anyone
I used boiled Eva water from birth to 7 months.
Started using boiled tap water from 7 months till date.
I've never used boiled dispenser hot water....I give her dispenser warm water (hot+cold) for drinking.

If u have to use tap water pls be sure its very clean and safe for drinking. U also have to boil it very well.

Catholic maamas Otito diri Jesu! na ndu ebeebe..

So I went to register for my ds infant baptism and the catechist after collecting registration money of 7h said I can't baptise him with the name Zion that its has not been heard of and the name is too powerful that I should choose a saint name. Meanwhile a lady came also and registered her baby as Destiny. I asked him if Destiny is a saint name and he said it's Godly name.

Abeg una fit help me ask priests you are close to what is wrong in baptising my son with the name Zion, so I would know if the wahala is just the catechist. That's even what we already have in his birth certificate.

Catholic maamas no read pass me abeg.
They did this to me too, DH and I had chosen a name...all for us to get to church and the catechist said that it's not a valid saint name. DH wanted to drag it with them o, but I just told him not to bother...shebi na name?! We had to give her another name.

Nope i dont have any issue at all the doctor just recommended it when i told him i and DH were ready to start having babies.
That isn't right.

I took clomid (on my Dr's prescription) after DH and I had tried for a while and nothing happened. I wasn't seeing my ovulation signs and I complained to my Dr. He then ran some tests, and based on the results,he prescribed Clomid and he had to monitor me while I was on it.
He should have just given u folic acid and asked u to monitor ur ovulation days so as to know the peak periods, not giving u clomid when there hasn't been an obvious issue.

Hello all got clomid and folic acid today and i started with it today though i am on my period. It is my first trial i and DH with the help of God have decided it is this August though we have never tried hope i am safe? please i need you all to educate me on what and what not to do in order to conceive. Thanks smiley
Bodies vary....
Clomid messes up some people's system with serious side effects while for some others it's not so severe. U don't know how ur system will respond to it till u take it.
Just know that u r not supposed to use it for more than 3 cycles.

I used it when I was ttc and I didn't get pregnant during the 3 cycles I used it... I got pregnant 3 months after I got off clOmid.

Take ur folic acid daily...pls dnt miss it.

Super mamas! I salute everyone.

Please I will appreciate your contributions on reasons that informs your decision on buying infant formula for your baby aside cost. Thank you mas.

cc: Zaynie, Alphahandmaiden and all sabi mamas.
I did exclusive bf for about 3 weeks but had to switch to combination feeding for my dd because my supply wasn't enough for her (I tried fenugreek and all what not but it just didn't work so i accepted myself like that jare).
Even at combo-feeding, I ensured she took more of br.eastmilk than formula....I was always putting her to breast often.

Your own is good! My mom also told me after birth the pain will stop. For where! It's just like before.
menstrual pain na common thing for my family o..... My mum used to have it, my elder sister and I used to have it. My younger sis still has it cos she neva born.
My mum used to tell me that immediately she had her first child, it stopped and that mine will stop too, but I didn't believe her cos my own pain was always very intense for first 3-4 days. My elder sis gave birth n hers stopped too but I still refused to believe them cos I didn't wanna raise my hopes (I had accepted my fate na).

As I had my 1st flow post-partum, I felt no single pain.... 2nd and 3rd cycle too, no pain...
next time I saw my mum, i gave her a big hug smiley she come de yab me say shebi i b doubting thomas b4.

Hello ma'm pls why does she have to supervise her baby while she is laid on her tummy. My baby has been sleeping on his tummy since he was a week old or thereabout. Pls shed more light on this
it increases the risk of SIDS - sudden infant death syndrome
Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is the unexplained death, usually during sleep, of a seemingly healthy baby less than a year old.

(3) she now poos like thrice a day... is dis normal?
