Here's what mum taught me....
anytime u want to breatsfeed, sit on a chair with backrest so that u don't have to bend so much. I also use a nursing pillow to raise my baby a bit cos she was still small then, that way U reduce bending and back ache.
If a chair doesn't work for you, sit on a bed and rest ur back on the wall.

Always bending to nurse isn't good for your back and posture.

try and eat, even if it's little portions as often as u can and drink plenty water.

You are doing a great job, and u'll be fine real soon

I fainted one early morning when my baby was barely 1 month old. I wasn't eating well due to lack of appetite, I had to force myself to eat eventually cos baby has to suck whether I chop or not.

Same here. The struggle is real. Dh is light in completion while me na small lupita take dark pass me. I am black. When people see my baby and I they wonder if I gave birth to him.
I think with time it will even out.

Mamas, please what cream can you recommend for my DD. Her face is light but her body is kinda of black. Presently I use shear butter+ pears for her after bath in the night then morning I use Kirkland coconut oil for her. I want the whole completion to be like face.

Please note that I have never applied any cream to her face before so she's natural on her face.
Also take note that DH is light skinned and am chocolate

Just got back from the bookstore.

I'm always finding something new to buy.
Okay so we're starting a new habit of one book per week and workbooks to support. when my son said "I don't like books" I almost had an heart attack and my mind flew to Blank and her kids immediately .

They also do jolly phonics training for parents every month for 10k
They have books on everything and are reasonably priced.
They have very colorful educational and moral charts too.
I don't think they have the write and wipe and sandpaper letters ,I'll check another place later this week. But sand trays can be made at home.

This bookstore is Chelis Bookazine at 12 Johnson Street of Eric Moore, Bode Thomas Surulere Lagos.
All the below was about 4k.

Breastfed him, even backed him and walked around but he didn't stop crying. So I left the church premises completely and went to the parking lot. He now kept quiet o.
But when I got to our car, another church nearby started their own praise and worship and he started crying again. I now backed him and walked around the whole parking lot till he totally slept.

I'm here sitting in the car waiting for service to be over.

Hmmmmm motherhood is not easy!

I make sure she is well feed b4 we leave for church so that she won't have to think of food for approximately 2 hours (duration of mass)... She even sleeps off during mass.

BlackFTM, infact I noticed some bad rashes on both sides of my son's thighs too, infact molfix leaks so badly now in just a few hours, one mama talked about babyhugg, anoda Nigerian Pampers. I would try babyhugg when this molfix finishes.

i would have recommended Babyland, it's superb but it's very scarce now, but u can check to see if u can find it
Babyhugg is great too, that's what we are using presently.
