Sorry to deviate...is Guaranty Trust Bank having issues? Two friends tried to get money via ATM, the money was not dispensed and yet was moved from their bank accounts. They didn't recover the money. Someone else checked his account which had a sizeable sum in it, it was empty. |
This thread is both hilarious and embarrassing. |
When will the fG realize that if these folks are all about islamizing the nation, dialogue is baseless. only decisive action will do...of course we know that the presidency is incapable of that so...na siddon look we dey. |
at first i tried to laugh discreetly, it didn't work. then i tried to laugh psychedelically so i don't disturb others around me, didn't work either. i gave up and roared with laughter cos i just couldn't hold it any longer. very good...very good. |
Most of you crucifying the athletes who represent other nations probably have Behind jobs on the island. You need to get close to someone in the sports industry (hope that is correct) to get a true picture of what truly goes on in there. Of course like every other ministry, corruption no let them see road, it is terrible. Athletes are not chosen on merit... its by connection. Imagine sending an unqualified athlete to represent your country in an international tournament, is it not madness? Where is the place of patriotism and honor? |
I couldn't help noticing that a couple of you mentioned improved power supply in the country as one of the incentives why our athletes have not done any Houdini acts yet. Do you guys really think the power situation has improved or are u just catching fun? cos honestly, i have no clue what is happening in the power sector, am still waiting for NEPA to come to their senses and go about business as usual. Regarding the issue of our athletes staying put for now, lets wait and see. |
Frankly, i am speechless! |

You need to find out if you will get your birthday treat after the spiritual exercise. |
i am one of the teeming Nigerians who do not bother to vote during elections. i actually intended to vote during the presidential election that bestowed power on GEJ, right now am so glad that circumstances prevented me from doing so. A multitude of Nigerians saw hope personified in the person of GEJ, only for him to turn out to be... what he turned out to be. There really are no words to describe our president. calling him and the host of other corrupt and fraudulent politicians names, is in my opinion a wasteful use of the English language. In my opinion, there can be only one solution to the issues of the 'Nigerian experiment'... totally annihilate every past and present leader who has erred (and i do not mean imprisonment), freeze their ill gotten assets and return them to the nation's coffers... . Of course we all know that am dreaming, yet, i love this dream. |
the best answer to this, is a question. would you like to teach your man how to 'do' on your wedding night? |
naija guys are not different from guys from other places. basically, all men are the same and they respond to love, care and respect. you on the other hand, need to be careful. you sound really sincere in your quest so i can only pray that the guy you're tripping for is not a PLAYER. |
fiction or not, we are interested. so, stop hewwing and hawwing and get on with the gist. |
it is funny that a lot of people have no regard for God when things are rosy and smooth. as soon as a calamity shows up, we start screaming questions at the heavens. you have a right to question God in the bad times if you remembered him in the good times. |
i think all the roaring is because people actually do hold men of God in high esteem. also, people feel a great sense of betrayal because they trust these clergy to lead them aright. the truth is, although a greatly anointed man of God is a great thing, men of God are meant to be guides and maps. because people are too lazy to pray for themselves, they fall on the pastor. |
mostly true. i have not met a lady who will take a jobless man seriously. lets face it, a jobless man practically has nothing to offer, and we all know that such a one will be incapable of taking care of a modern woman... what am i saying? even village girls know better. |
The picture of the ex-husband interests me too. |
1. I won't advice her to divorce the man. She works in a bank and bankers have no life. Who knows how long it will take her to get someone else. Besides, she's practically still a bride, so in my opinion, its too early to be thinking divorce. 2. I also will not advocate for her to quit her job and face her marriage. For Christ's sakes this is the... (what century is this?), women do not do such dumb things anymore. 3. I do not honestly think the man is much concerned with getting a child. He probably only wanted a dame to poke so, the banker in question should 'arrange' the house help. Meaning, get her an abortion, give her some coins and then the sack, and have a serious talk with her erring husband. |
RETARDEEN!!! what a nick-name. |
pig or not, fuckable or not, murderer of the english language or not, she is your first lady. |
don't mind them, we are hooked and want to read the end of it, fiction or no fiction. |
Amazing. |
i guess the stigma of being alone, the dread of going back on the shelf-so to speak, especially if the lady is no longer spry, and the bond that intimacy further strengthens, are the primary causes. |
