DISGRACED former Fifa vice-president Jack Warner has been banned for life by the organisation's ethics committee.

The committee have taken the action four years after Warner stepped out of the football limelight.
The ruling coincides with an investigation into Sepp Blatter’s disgraced former vice-president, who is also facing criminal charges in the United States over an alleged £100 million fraud.

A Fifa statement read: "The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee, chaired by Hans-Joachim Eckert, has decided to ban the former FIFA Vice-President and Executive Committee member as well as CONCACAF President, Mr Jack Warner, from taking part in any kind of football-related activity at national and international level for life.
"The decision was taken on the basis of investigations carried out by the investigatory chamber of the Ethics Committee following its report on the inquiry into the 2018/2022 FIFA World Cup bidding process.

FACEBOOK has gone down AGAIN for the second time in a matter of days tonight.

The social networking site suffered another outage after it went down last Thursday.

The Down Detector websites reported a surge of issues affecting Facebook users in the past few minutes.

The site is used by more than a 1.44billion people across the world.

Facebook users took to rival social networking site to complain about the outage.

One user posted: "#Facebookdown Facebook is down again!!"

While another added: "Without a long thread about Facebook being down, how will I know how I’m supposed to feel about it? #facebookdown".

SPOTIFY has entered this year's CoolBrands Top 20 for the first time – as Netflix soared past James Bond car manufacturer Aston Martin.

The annual report into the UK's most desired brands have been released, with US technology companies dominating the top spots.
Apple – which last week released its new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus smartphones – has topped the Top 20 for the fourth year in a row.
The Cupertino firm's latest smartphones boast pressure sensitive displays, which add new ways to interact with the smartphone, and a new colour, dubbed Rose Gold.

Spotify was the highest new entry into the CoolBrands Top 20, which placed 11th in the chart.

Facebook-owned photo sharing social network Instagram made it into the top 10 for the first time.

A clever developer has now turned the unfortunate Google glitch – which involves typing http://a/%%30%30 into the URL field – and transformed it into a nail-biting online game.

The free-to-play game takes advantage of the bug and turns it into a MineSweeper-esque online game.
Players are asked to tentatively move their computer mouse along a maze of bears emojis – avoiding a forest of glitch-triggering tree icons.
It's a bit like an old fairground buzz wire game – but with much higher stakes.

The hugely popular porn website has been hit with a deadly malware attack
MALWARE has been detected hidden within the adverts on one of the world's most popular PORN websites.

Security firm Malwarebytes claims it has found a campaign of malware hidden inside the online advertisements on porn site, XHamster – the 71st most popular website in the world.
The advert – which claimed it was for a service called Sex Messenger – was laced with tools used to identify whether or not the user was genuine, or simply a bot.
The malware could then work out if the visitor was running Microsoft's Internet Explorer, identify their security settings – and then redirect them to a fraudulent webpage.
Dubbed malvertising, the technique is often used to install ransomware – which holds the PC owner hostage with threats of exposing data, or with false accusations of criminal activity.

Those hit by the virus are given instructions on how to pay an imposed fine.

FIFA have announced the dates for the 2022 World Cup which is scheduled to be held in Qatar.

The 22nd World Cup will be staged from November 21 to December 18 in 2022.
FIFA's executive committee confirmed the dates which means it will be the first ever winter World Cup.
The change from the traditional summer tournament is to avoid Qatar's heat.
The event will take place over 28 days, which is four less than usual.
It's understood a shorter tournament was approved to lessen the disruption to leagues like the Premier League who will have to shut down mid-season.

LIVERPOOL owners Fenway Sports Group have already decided to relieve Brendan Rodgers of his duties, according to reports.

The Northern Irishman has come under criticism in recent weeks following Liverpool's slow start to the season which also saw them just edge past Carlisle on penalties in the Capital One Cup third round last night.

Many Liverpool fans are becoming frustrated with a recent poll showing 87% of the people asked think Rodgers should be sacked.
And now bookmakers have made Rodgers the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to face the chop.

But according to talkSPORT, a decision has already been reached by the club's owners that will see Rodgers axed - but Jurgen Klopp is not being lined up as his replacement.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, as has former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti.

FRANCE legend Thierry Henry has been bizarrely backed to become the new Motherwell manager.

The former Barcelona and Arsenal striker has emerged as one of the leading contenders with some bookmakers, at 8-1, to replace the sacked Ian Baraclough.
The bet looks a bit of a long shot as Henry has a multi-million pound contract with Sky Sports as an analyst and is also coaching the Under-21s at former club Arsenal.
Fellow Sky Sports pundit and Express Sport columnist Charlie Nicholas said: “It’s an interesting one but I’m not sure I can really see Thierry leaving Sky for the Motherwell job.”

ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has split from his wife Annie after five years of marriage.

They have not been happy for a while, and they decided this was the best course of action to take

The pair parted ways after months of speculation that their relationship was on the rocks.
Gunners manager Wenger and Annie - a former basketball player - got a Paris judge to issue a "separation of bodies" judgement in June.
A source said: "They have divided up their assets and agreed a financial package to separate.
"They have not been happy for a while, and they decided this was the best course of action to take."

Wenger and Annie, 59, married in 2010 after a long-term relationship and have an 18-year-old daughter Leah.
It's not clear whether they are still living together at their North London mansion near Arsenal's training ground.
The agreement means they are free to see other people but it stops short of a full divorce.
The 65-year-old manager is still expected to support Annie financially.

LUKE SHAW has been allowed to return home following an operation to fix the double fracture in his leg.

The left-back had been in Holland ever since he picked up the injury in the 2-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven on September 15.
He flew home over the weekend and had been recovering in a Manchester hospital since arriving back in the UK.

THE FA, backed up by a panel of three former referees, decided that actually the game does not have to be played "like that" after all and promptly charged Diego Costa with violent conduct.

The Chelsea player has until 6pm today to respond. Either way - if he accepts the charge or demands a hearing - the process will be concluded so that, if he is found guilty, he will miss the tomorrow night's Capital One Cup at Walsall and the Premier League games against Newcastle and Southampton.
The charge stems from an incident involving Laurent Koscielny in the 43rd minute of the fiery clash between Chelsea and Arsenal which Jose Mourinho's side eventually won 2-0.

HUNDREDS of thousands of Apple iPhones could be "vulnerable to infection" from apps in the iOS App Store.

Apple is taking steps to remove malicious software from a slew of popular apps, it has confirmed.
The infected apps – believed to be part of the first large-scale malware attack on the Apple App Store – were laced with malicious code.
Hundreds of thousands of customers could be affected by the infected apps, which includes one of the world's most popular instant messengers.
The vicious code was added by an unofficial version of Xcode, the free application used to build iOS and Mac software.
Dubbed XcodeGhost, the counterfeit version of the Apple software injected malicious code which allowed hackers to gather information from the device and initiate phishing attacks.

A version of WeChat – one of the most popular instant messaging apps on the planet, with some 600 million monthly active users – was infected by the XcodeGhost code.

MANCHESTER UNITED defender Luke Shaw has apparently posted a picture of his leg following surgery.

The United left-back broke his right leg in two places after a two-footed challenge from PSV Eindhoven centre-half Hector Moreno on Tuesday.
The incident came 15 minutes into the 20-year-old's debut in the Champions League and faces six months on the sidelines.
Shaw was operated on in Eindhoven that night, and now a picture of his post-surgery leg has surfaced after he allegedly uploaded it on Snapchat.
