Omen100: My guy, pls luck dat ur PSP mouth there, who told u a man frm ur village can't transform d village, unless d man na curse, even Ibori, as people say d guy spoil & condemn reach, he was still able to transform his hometown & delta state to some large extent, which I strongly believed, if not all, most deltan's can say yes, Ibori was able to use his office has d governor of delta state to transform my village Oghera. So my guy make u nor dey carry oooo, men dey vex here 4 goodluck, abi jonna & beaf d arse lickerMy guy its obvious you have a problem with comprehending english language, if not you won't be so rude.I said a candidate from ones village is not a guaranty that they will bring improvement. The word there is guaranty duh!. And to think that a fellow like Ibori is a hero to you says all about the kind of person you are. Another victim of years of bad governance, it will be dificult to make u see reason cos u don't know what governance is and entails. |
As an Urhobo man, I cried to everyone within my circle of influence that a man being from your village as a governor or president is not a guaranty that better life has come (especially when they belong to PDP) Rather let's settle for someone with character. Well it has happened and all I can say its the 'Fresh Air' we were promised. |
maclatunji: You edited your post, my first question:Yeah I edited the post.To your question.Getting investors to do cross boarder investment in the range I suspect you are looking at is always very difficult and often the best is to try local market for funds below the 1M dollar mark. Even that mark is a recent developmnent cos some 2-3 yrs back the minimum cross boarder investment were in the minimum of 20M USD. Do you have a written business plan? If so are you willing to share it? You can send an executive summary to me and let's take it from there. |
@ Maclatunji. I think what you need is a venture capitalist or even an angel investor I have been involved with PE firms around the world for a little over four years. As I run a corporate finance boutique, and often I primarily use them (PE) as source of funds to finance clients deals and sometimes projects. I would be most willing to help with some questions here (supposing I have the time) though answers might not come immediately really as u know I got to work, however, but I can assure to peep in everynight and respond to your queries. |
mekaboy: THIS IS JUST A LESSON FOR MEN TO LEARN SELF CONTROL I LEARNED FROM IT TOO, IF I WAS THERE MAYBE I WOULD HAVE DONE WHAT HE DID OR EVEN MORE. BUT ONE THING I AM SURE OF IS THAT IT WILL BE FOR SOME OTHER REASON. IF I WAS TAKING A SHOWER AND THE GIRL OPENED THE DOOR TO PEEP, I WOULD CHASE HER AROUND THE HOUSE NAKED SHOUTING "ZINAB COME AND SEE IT OO " LOL.Kindly go back to page 1 and watch the second video again pls. The guy did'nt not slap her for peeping , he slapped her for slapping him first. She moved too close to him and came straight in his face inspite trying to walk away and he shoved her back and she slapped him on her way back b4 the thunder slap from him> Guy I will do that today, tomorrow and forever if in his position.' Imagine she even boasted in the video 'I slapped ur ass first' she is very lucky to still be talking. Sinerely I might have headbutted her! |
I have never hit a woman in my life that I can remember (well aside scuffles I had with elder sister when we were kids. After watching that video I personally think it would be difficult for me not to act like DKB.Reason? Aside the lady running her mouth and peeping @ the guy, she clearly invaded the guys private space and even hit him on the chest wt her own chest, which is just wrong. If she was not in the wrong why do u think she was evicted. And just before you go on about western world and culture. I spent 8 yrs of the last decade living in UK so I. Know what is obtainable. |
Reno now that ur identity has been blown you chose to attack NL by saying it belongs to the gutters Typical of psycophants use and dump mentality |

Beaf: Dude, your wanting to appear to be me only shows you to be as low self-esteemed as a creature scraped off the toilet floor.Guy u still don't get it, do you? (Not surprised though) wether I and some other fellas out there use the name 'Beaf' is not the issue the issue is you are too dumb to realise that in this space and internet age it is very legitimate, rather you go on complaining chasing shadows like NL gave you a certificate of Exclusivity. I suspect you hit your head as a child, that for me should explain ur ultra low IQ |
Beaf: Lol! I can see the clouds of bats that had been prepared to feast on the aircrash victims blood springing to life!Your stupidity knows no bound and who told you you have exclusivity to the name 'BEAF'(spelt whichever way)or did you pay for it? Lol you this guy you will not cease to amaze me with your level of intelligence and common knowledge. And to think my money as a tax payer is being used to sustain your miserable life makes it even more annoying. Olodo scum of the earth! |
kilimanjaro: Naija don finishAre u just realising that? the funeral wake held since under IBB regime. Pack ur bags and leave Ghost Town (Country) |
I cringe wt fear for the future and shame for this generation, when I see our supposed graduates dispute things like this. We are talking about a time when there was no road to connect lagos Island to Lagos mainland, when the road that led to our villages were just good enough for trekking and at most bicycles (talk less of motor bike) when the total no.of automobile cars in the whole Nigeria were less than 1000, when more than two-third of Nigerians had never seen one before physically, yet you still argue about the authenticity of the report that says Mrs Kuti is first female.A time when every single car owner was known by the authorities, not just as a matter of registration but knowing in totality as to who they are, what they do and where they've been; and u still argue? God help us all! |
People am surprised @ the kind of comments am reading here. As a 38yr old man father of two, though my kids don't watch BBA (its rated 18) but I have nothing against it, its so hypocritical for u to condemn BBA for moral values, when there are lots of stuff on TV that does'nt teach moral and again its called TV for educating, entertaining and information.BBA falls into the 2nd category. Some dumb adults here will gladly play and dance to D'banj Oliver Twist song wt their kids and complain about moral values like there's any in de song and many more like that. Nonsense talk that we copy the western world, ofcourse we do,dummy can't u see that they set the pace?, they start Yahoo chat room, Seun start Nairaland, and u get on the forum and still complain of copy copy. I watch BBA weekly highlights on Saturdays and boy yh its entertaining, and will rather do that than go to Sex thread of Nairaland! And Nairaland encourages morality! |
mekaboy: [b]SOMETHING IS LACKING.And what happens if after your suggested public execution new evidences or witnesses emerge that points to the Robber (accussed) as being innocent?. You will go and wake up the corpse in Jerusalem abi?. Think well b4 u blab! My one kobo (cent) |
twinstaiye: Apology to Giggs, but I dont think he deserved it. Why not Alan Shearer the highest goal Scorer in the EPL and the one who won the best player of EPL in 10 years?. When has staying long in Manchester United the criteria for the best Player in 20 years? Goals, Goals and plenty of it, that is what Shearer brought into the game, what has Giggs brought? He isnt even the Captain for those long years that would have guide us to say he led Man Utd through those years. Methinks the likes of Andy Cole, Thierry Henry, Robbie Fowler etc who ignite the EPL with goals even comes before Giggs. Its obvious you have a bias for strikers, I do too but not blindly,if we judge by goals alone then players like Kevin Phillips ( I doubt u know him) and like the other guy mentioned Yakubu Aiyegbeni should be rated better than Eric Cantona,Paul Scholes,Tony Adams,Roy keane et al. Do u now see the fallacy of ur illogical arguement? |
There's'no point following this thread anylonger as it seems some people are just set in their ways and are incapable of logical and meaningful reasoning. Imagine someone hailing and encouraging an action in which the culprit has publicly apologised for and also his employers. Do u know more about the whole incident than City management? |
jmoore: Man utd 1- 6 Man City who is the underdog ? I think Sir Alex predicted his death, if Man City keeps beating Man utd he will die soon. You my dear friend need to go brush up english language skills. My question to you is this 'In any sports or field of human endeavour is the underdog decided after a bout/ match or before?. Utd went into that match as defending champions and came out loosers, City on the other hand were the underachievers and challengers hence the underdogs that came out victorious, and that is why the match was tagged the upset of the season! |
odiaero: I think u are the one to get you facts right, Fergie said City will never win the title in his lifetimeSee the bolded below.Manchester City's Carlos Tevez parades 'RIP Fergie' sign Manchester City have apologised after striker Carlos Tevez was pictured with a sign saying "RIP Fergie" during his side's Premier League title parade. The former Manchester United forward poked fun at former boss Sir Alex Ferguson, as City paraded their trophy on an open-top bus through Manchester. The sign was thought to refer to a 2009 response by Ferguson, when asked if United would ever be City's underdogs. Ferguson said at the time: "Not in my lifetime". A City spokeswoman said: "The creation of the tasteless material is in itself reprehensible and in accepting and brandishing it, Carlos has made a significant error of judgement. "The club wishes to express its sincerest apologies to Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United Football Club for any offence or distress caused." Tevez at City Tevez, who left United in 2009 for City, said: "I got carried away in the excitement of the moment and I certainly didn't mean any disrespect to Sir Alex Ferguson, who I admire as a man and a manager." The 28-year-old former Boca Juniors and Corinthians forward moved to English football in 2006, joining West Ham. After helping them avoid relegation from the Premier League, he moved onto United, where he spent two seasons, winning two Premier League trophies and the Champions League. He scored 34 goals in 87 goals for the Red Devils. But in the summer of 2009 he moved across Manchester to rivals City. Tevez was top scorer in each of his first two years at Eastlands but this season was punctuated by a self-imposed spell back in Argentina after an argument with manager Roberto Mancini about his alleged refusal to warm up in a Champions League game with Bayern Munich. Mancini had said Tevez would not feature for him again but brought him back in for the title run-in, with former City player Rodney Marsh saying: "Mancini will be sacked if Tevez plays and City don't win the title." He impressed on his return to City, scoring four goals in 10 games, and featured in the final day win over QPR that clinched their maiden Premier League title. And the striker has now said he could stay at the club months after it looked certain he would |
Agimor: Alex Ferguson how does it look like when you start eating your volmit.not in your lifetime now that it has happen in your lifetime whats next,i suggest to you to go hug transformer. Alex Ferguson how does it look like when you start eating your volmit.not in your lifetime now that it has happen in your lifetime whats next,i suggest to you to go hug transformer. Alex Ferguson how does it look like when youIt is you youngman that is the cos of my laughter. U either can't read well or u dont comprehend. Now go back and read the statement accredited to SAF in 2009 and modify this post! |
Though the guy has apologised as the stuff I feel was just a spur of the moment excitement. Wat is amusing is that someday Tevez is going to sit down and be grateful that he played for Fergie, cos the most pretigious medal he has in cabinet from his sojourn so far in Europe is the Champions league medal, which he won playing for Utd under Fergie. He might win more Or he might not even win another. |
Na wao for our reasoning, what is wrong with Fergie statement? He said Utd will never be underdog to City in is his lifetime. But really he basically just said the truth that we all know. Let me explain Since Chelsea's're-birth they have won 4 FA cups and 3 League titles yet they are not rated above Utd because for that to happen they will probably have to win like 15 more titles and @ least 3 Champions league and we all know that at Fergies age of 70 or 71 that is not going to happen in his lifetime. Thesame applies to City |
timbros: Newcastle was completely outplayed in that match so there was no way he could have influenced the match. But this time, Webb can influence the match cuz as expected, Man Utd will outplay Sunderland so Webb can award PKs, Red Cards, goal line stuffs etc in favour of Man Utd. He couldnt do that in Newcastle v Man City cuz the ball was always in Newcastle's 18. Expect a harvest of controversial goals tomorrow....Even after the City dominance against Newcastle u did not see 4 or 5 offside call against Cisse when two of it he was goal bound? Wont that have presented him the opportunity to do the ojoro if he wanted.? So much for your understanding and conspiracy theory! |

A refree could not give two controversial ( or even one) in City and Newcastle and u expect same ref him now to come and give a 'harvest of goal' may be like 10 ( that cud count for nothing if City win by a goal margin of more than two. Who did this to you? U cant make a kobo sense even if ur life depends on it. |
Am 38 yrs now if I live another 32 yrs then God has been more than good to me ( even if I live less) in all those years of my stay in Nigeria ( wt the exception of 5 yrs in the UK) no year in this country has been better than the preceeding yr ( not as an individual) but for Nigeria as a whole. The people we have entrusted with the task of taking us to the next level, all keep their children away in Europe and America. Like NOI ( just an example) have her family stay and school in America yet we expect her to drive us safely, people that do not even believe in the success of their programme and their task. And u want me to believe in Nigeria? Like my late father did and made sure we all grew in this county and this nonsense we've all find ourselves. Pls a word is enough for the wise plan ur future outside the shores of this country if not ur children we go on the future equivalent of nairaland and say exactly wat am saying here. |
