As I have been saying for several years, political and religious dichotomy in Yoruba land is giving the Fulanis across West Africa a home in Nigeria . Yorubas have strong spirit and strong forces. No power can resist the Yorubas. The political and religious dichotomy have been an obstacle. Yorubas have not taken a stand as a body on the issue of Nigeria.

Unlike KANU who is the leader of IPOBS, Igboho does not have a movement or platform or organization. He is a freedom fighter because of the killings of his people. He is also a member of Yoruba World Congress - a body working on the freedom of Yorubas from slavery in Nigeria. He is an activist in Yoruba World Congress giving himself wholeheartedly to the realization of the mandate of the Yoruba World Congress - The Yoruba Nation.

The first time the issue of Yoruba Nation came up was during Abacha days. 99.9% of Yorubas were not aware. It was launched in US by Lt. Gen Alani Akinrinade (rtd). This second coming through Yoruba World Congress - Professor Akintoye and Igboho issue have brought awareness to more than 50% of Yorubas in Nigeria, West Africa, Latin America and Yorubas in Diaspora.

For the first time, the Yoruba elites and traditional institutions are involved.
