DDG has been excellent for us but his position is not pressing in my opinion. With a stable back 4 and our attackers doing their jobs, I expect him to return back to his peak

You just need to have one or two good seasons or some moments and boom, you should be starting for life, no negotiations, no slander

1) Rashford is our 1st choice LW and he is good enough at this time. We need to get Sancho for the RW.

2) We can't spend money on a RB again. AWB is decent overall and we have 3 younger RBs in the team that may be pushing him for a starting berth in the next couple of years.

In terms of the full back crossing it is not just about instructions. AWB to an extent and Shaw especially are not confident one time crossers. Dalot and Williams (when he plays on the right) are more confident/competent with that aspect of the game.

With a very skillful RW, we will be fine. We will need back ups to Rashford and the RW too

The problem was not the diamond formation itself but our lack of good full back play.

When playing a diamond you need good overlapping full backs that will give the team width.

One time crosses should be the rule, but yesterday we played with 2 full backs that like to kill the move first before trying to do something with the ball.

Shaw tried to offer some width but he is not a natural going forward, but AWB in particular tucked in too much and did not offer the width that could have opened up the game more.

Our 4 midfielders played well to varying levels, Lindelof was shaky as usual, and DDG is no longer indispensable. To be honest even though he is our most talented keeper he is our 3rd most consistent one. If he leaves i doubt he will be missed but i don't even think anybody will want to buy him for serious money at this time.

Which would you suggest
1. We get wide players
2. We get a new RB

I think we're not playing one time cross because that's not what they trained on or instructed to do. They always prefer to work the ball into the box or closer to the byline to cross. Probably because our strikers prefer to receive the ball at the feet.

De Gea was misled by the deflection from Maguire. The refs did a makeup call for the wrong yellow on Fred (and free kick).

I'm not sure if this is the case because the ref couldn't have known he made the wrong call here. We can just say nature balanced things. Even Luke Shaw collected yellow card in the first half for doing nothing

The more reason why we can't use him. We need someone that can impose and occupy the Everton defenders better so as to bring others into play. Ighalo can do that better. It's no news that we don't have the wingers

The thing is that he's not just about that outside shot. Man can give that through pass too, so you don't know which one he's going to do

It's not out of place for a world class player to have a bad game.

For your information, Henderson did not play in their last win over West Ham. He has missed starting 6 league matches this season. Only Dijk has played all 28 matches from start to finish. Anold and Robertson are next with 27 matches.

Can we now conclude that LFC attack is shit and the front three is not as good as you have been claiming here?
