Making promise you cannot fufil. What a dumb president. But that's all this government is known for. How many campaign promises have they fulfilled? Nigerians are still waiting for equation to balance for the N1 = $1 lol! |

Their only interest will be the estacodes. Common electricity, refinery and road construction are still regarded as technology from Jupiter. beht why? This is why I continually keep talking about other countries making progress in leaps and bounds while Nigeria is retrogressing on speed dial. We don't even have stable electricity in 2017. What a shame. Giant of Africa indeed. Mschew. |

superdoc: To those relating this to Muslims, let me tell you i am proud to be a muslim. So if you see me walking in street the please shot me to death. you can only talk here but I swear By Allah even all the xtain in southern Nigeria cannot wipe out Islam in Nigeria which I believe is your mission and i swear by allah no xtain can face me eye ball to eye ball and abuse islam. from statistics Islam is growing more rapid than the so called Christianity. So xtain please keep hating but I'd like to tell you that your hating do no harm to we muslim, moreover in my department at school I don't give a damn to any xtain because i believe they hate me and i hate them too. So xtain if you want peace we can make it but if you want war we can declare it #im not afraid No one hates you. You need to change your mindset. You already have the belief that anyone of a different faith from you hates you even though in reality they may not. It's not healthy to be carrying this kind of attitude & wrong assumption about. |

Curlieweed: It's actually not that hard. You look at the candidates past achievements as well as the credibility of his promises.
If your states average annual budget is 100 Billion and personnel costs take 90 Billion, your promises are limited by those hard numbers. You're right. That's a logical way of looking at it. |

Amoto94: People shouldn't be entrusted with state affairs just because they're youths or from a particular region without questioning their abilities and capabilities. Look at Macron he wasn't voted by the people of France because of his youthful age but because of his programs. You are right. Although he seems to understand the issues in the state and sometimes you have to give people a chance to prove themselves. But Nigerians can be hard to trust, they will promise heaven and earth but not live up to it. It's a tricky situation. |

SalamRushdie: Grieving most times and for most people is about uncertainty that come with losing a loved one especially a breadwinner..Tinubu has probably told her what she wants to hear like how they will make sure she never lacks and that wiped the grief away from her face small Hmm. I understand what you're saying especially in a Nigerian context where families typically would abandon the children. But still I would have thought it's about how much you miss the person, rather than your needs no longer being met by the person's passing away. |

Amoto94: The Parliament
The idea of the parliament was borne out of the need for a different approach to social accountability of our elected leaders.
The parliament main objective is to see a change in the political solutions/policies articulated by any sitting government. It aims to further promote implementation of social/economical/political solutions which are developed by Nigerians for the betterment of Nigerians and to provide a paradigm shift in implementable solutions that bear no remote interest to the citizenry.
Parliament will operate as the convergence point for the masses.
The parliament through exhaustive online avenue will solicit for solution no matter how irrelevant until all concerns is heard and a solution is evolved that best serves all interest.
The parliament intend to introduce innovative ideas in the areas of Election, Education (language standardization, university accreditation and signatory to Washington/Sydney/* Accords.
The radical revamping of educational system to ensure full benefits of accelerated technology transfer and harnessing of intellectual capabilities of her citizens.
Infrastructure and Social Amenities.
Power and Energy
Roads and Transportation
Aviation
The Flag/Country name/Anthem
Job
Constitution and our view.
The parliament aims to achieve this on the
Nairaland platform and/or her platform
It will solicit for volunteers for Neighbouhood Outreach via home to home evangelism/outreach.
We will solicit donations from ordinary Nigerians if they so wish not more than a Naira daily or as may be in their capacity.
We intend to effect attitudinal change in our youths.
For we aim to break the nonchalance that has become the norm in them.
To embolden them to speak up and demand for a better deal from those they elected
To drive Nigeria elections from the bottom up and not the reverse
To translate keyboard warriors translate their angst into viable implementable solution, and see how the solution can be run with to effect a better Nigeria
in the psyche of Adults
The Parliament home to deliver a strong message that it is not cool to know what to do, but never getting up to do something to bring about the change you desire.
That the country is theirs for the taking
That they need to show strength and character in times of oppression.
That great sacrifices has to be made, and it takes greater generation to make these generation and this generation was born great after all it has been through.
and repentance in our older generation to the Nigerian question Interesting. I would be curious to see how that will be implemented. Please tag me when you kick it off. fratermathy: I'm not surprised. We still do some primitive things in Nigeria. This is not even the worst of them. Go to the abattoirs where meat is processed and you may never eat meat again. What about local bakeries? water production factories that use tap water? manufacturing companies where there are no quality controls? Go and see how things are made in the villages; things that we take in as food. Yet most people living in the villages live longer than those in the cities. |

It took me MONTHS to discover that APC and Buhari are clueless and never prepared to rule this country. It's like they never thought Jonathan will be defeated.
Sadly, A looting PDP Era is now better than the self acclaimed corruption fighting government of APC.
2019 is here anyway, I'm ready to correct the mistake.

magazineguy: Hey bro, I am actually shocked at your statements.
Firstly, there is nothing like inbuilt, everybody learns. Agreed there are some persons with abilities doesn't mean you can learn it. Just like in school, we believe some students are brilliant while others are dull. But have seen a case where a dull student studied diligently and came out with good grades?
Secondly, acquiring necessary certification & degree matters a lot.
Lastly, selling a product you know nothing about works when you are trying to convince illiterates or people without good education. Very true. Agreed, we all have natural skills and strengths but if you fail to develop them, they become of no use. |
