How won't they plan a coup against him when dude has lost total control of his government? I mean he is not even physically present. Shameless man sitting in another man's country enjoying advanced healthcare which he has failed to provide for his own citizens. |

It aimed to attract Nigerian millionaires, who ordinarily jetted off to Dubai or London to go shopping, as well as make Cross River a commercial crossroads on the Atlantic coast.
A plush 242-room hotel with a view over the lagoon and a water park with slides were built to cater for the cream of high society and their families.
Alongside luxury tourism, imported goods would provide for Nigeria and its neighbours such as Cameroon, Chad and Niger, competing with the country’s commercial capital, Lagos. Ndem left in 2012. None of his successors has managed to get Tinapa off the ground.
“There was clearly a lack of political will” to make the project succeed, he said, describing himself as angry and frustrated at a “wasted opportunity”. A huge supermarket still displays clothes, furniture and foreign-made knick-knacks but in virtual darkness: the electricity was cut off some time ago. A project with so much potential all gone down the drain, thanks to the Nigerian factor. We have a problem in this country. |

AngelicBeing: Nigerians are good at calling God, God and God in everything, go and investigate that site properly and you will see construction deficiency in full glare, health & safety measures not adhered to, sub-standard construction materials, employing yahoo-boy quacks for supervision of the site, under-cutting in everything from Cement, block types, sand, nails, iron rods, granite, mention it , the list is endless, God will not come down and tell us how to do the right thing, he has given us brains to think & use so we can allow him rest, we cut corners too much and when the unexpected happens , we call God , God and God. The country is at a standstill now politically & economically, instead of Nigerians to wake up & do the right thing they are praying, praying and praying, faith / prayers without corresponding action / work = dead >>>QED Infact, we are so obsessed with calling God, meanwhile God has equipped us with functioning brains. I'm not sure any other country is overly religious like Nigeria yet the way of life in this country is a complete opposite of what is professed. It is in Nigeria that criminals call God, politicians too. God is really very patient. |

You talk as if Yorubas were the only ones who fought to put GEJ there!!!

masquellett: You tried. But this alone is not effective in preventing randsomware! Also have two user accounts on your system with the same administrative privilege. Then. Randsomware only attacks screen. So once you login using your second admin password. Then go to registry to correct it. Then boot In safe mode But what the malware does is to encrypt all the files in your hard disk so I don't think having two user accounts will help with this. |

frenchwine: This right here tells a true picture of the state of our economy. From single digit rates , it galloped to near gross value and then it begins a very very careful descent. Anyone who as much as hails this as a government achievement is a rock-bottom mor0n. Prolly still sucking mummy's breaStS. Exactly the point. A decline of 0.02% and rate still over 17% Meaning N1000 last year now worth N830, and this is being celebrated? Mediocrity will not kill us in Nigeria hopefully. |
