PoliticsRe: Ile Ife Crisis: El-Rufai Warns Those Calling For Revenge In Kaduna by ephi123(f): 9:55am On Mar 14, 2017
LordOfNaira:
I brought the news here so people will watch their words and not compound the problems in the North.

It is a good thing that El Rufai made this statement. Other Northern leaders should support El Rufai's statement.
But what did El-Rufai do with the crisis in HIS own state?

It's good to call for calm but the truth is actions speak louder than words. This same man worsened the situation all through the crisis in Southern Kaduna so he really has no moral right to call for peace in Ile-Ife. Hypocrisy is what he is doing.

You mean the love he has for seeing fulani herdsmen kill common unharmed farmers.

The love he has for seeing Nigerians suffer after he shut down the border and the only food they eat went out of their rich?

The love he has for seeing them suffer with his vague and animal farm policies?

The love he has for seeing Nigerians image damaged by telling the world his people are fantastically corrupt.

The love he has for humiliating us globally when he disgraced your mom and every Nigerian woman by telling the world that a woman's place is only in the kitchen and other room.

The love in two years that has put Nigerians in untold and insane and sensless suffering and turned every single youth to either unemployed or fraudster or kindnapper or criminal. Wow.

I could go on... But unlike your father, I have a job, and I don't have the luxury of spending 30 days in a hospital without telling my employee why, and returning to that job. Your message is a bundle of trashed meaningless garbage. Rubbish.
Couldn't agree more. Well said.
Love indeed. It would be better for her to keep quiet considering the state her father has put this nation in.

Sighs. There is a difference between a monarchical system of government and a presidential system of government. Go and learn British History before commenting.
I tell you. There is nothing one doesn't see on Nairaland. Basic history and information is available on the internet but yet they won't make use of it.

Tomorrow Britain will be accusing Mugabe of sit tight presidency yet Mama Elizabeth don't want to step down for her 70yrz Prince.
The Queen does not make political decisions, there is no basis for a comparison between her and Mugabe.

Humans can be fickle and experience is the best teacher. You've learnt your lessons.

On a separate note, I have noticed how extended family members and friends abandon the immediate family & children when a person passes on. Well, God is the father to the fatherless and will never abandon them.

Oga leave that matter. Even Adolf Hitler and Osama bin laden, as evil as their legacies may be; they will still have a number of people that benefited under them. The person in question is trying to point attention to the fact that hardwork and persistence pays. That's what matters.
So because a few people benefitted under despots like Hitler makes everything okay? No wonder we are where we are. Let a select few continue to ruin things for the larger population. Hard work and persistence you say? Tell that to teachers who have gone without salary for many months. I insist there is nothing tangible about posting such pictures as long as the situation of the country is where it is.
PoliticsRe: President Buhari's Letter To National Assembly On Resumption Of Office(Pictured) by ephi123(f): 6:51pm On Mar 13, 2017
See the kinds of irrelevant things we are focusing on, resumption letter. Meanwhile other countries are hotly debating issues and policies affecting their day to day life. Our youths have really lost it if this is the kind of thing we deem fit to give attention to.

These are not policy statements from a finance minister. Any dick and harry can say such. They should better come up with impactful economic policies. We are in dire need of such.

Mba!

The sickness he's suffering from is not a terminal disease!. PMB will attain full recovery and will complete his term and possibly another term.

Check history book and you'd discover that many presidents of great countries of the world have fallen sick while in office. The sickness didn't make them be impeached or resign.

From USA to UK to France to Germany, their leader suffered different sickness from stroke to polio, from heart attack to Crohn's disease, from bone disease to severe diabetes, yet they all served their term and many even were re-elected.
.

Possibly run another term. Smh.
Why not just suggest he should become a life president.
BMC will make you people say even the most unreasonable things. Did they swear for Nigeria never to have young vibrant leaders? What a shame that at this age, you've signed off your future to be forever ruled by archaic individuals cry

See the ridiculous excuses he is coming up with. Other leaders have also fallen ill yada yada yada, did those leaders run their countries' economies aground?

Haters will continue to hate. I don't think such an individual will need to approach any bank manager for loan, many years to come.
Not everything is hating.
What tangible difference has his picture taking made to anyone's life besides his own and his immediate family? In a period where several families are suffering from the effects of his oga's policies, what sense is there in him displaying these pics?
What difference have his pictures made to society pray tell?

I really wonder what we should do with pictures, when a million and one key decisions to move the country forward are yet to be taken. How exactly do photos benefit the average Nigerian? How?

Government of photography.
