And this is why I ask, how does this case stop some infants from being raped and used for rituals this afternoon by the adherents of your religion?

That was when the Yoruba people touched. Right now the Hausas that have died may be without number. Their stalls at Lagere have been burnt n their houses at Olaolu too.
Be safe. If possible people should stay indoors until things calm down.

He probably doesn't mind because he is being paid to do so, that is what the situation in Nigeria has turned people to. Conscience for sale, on a post by post basis.

As for this Omokri, it's not like he was any different when he was in the corridors of power, very petty man.

What is this for goodness sake? When Buhari passed through Heathrow was this how it looked like? Our leaders will travel to advanced countries and yet never ever copy their standards when it comes to infrastructure.

Nigeria's matter is enough to give someone a headache honestly. I am keen to see the airline that is going to land in this airport and risk the lives of its crew members.

That was exactly what kalu idika kalu said.that this government is only giving ppl false hopes and playing on their intelligence unfortunately many Nigerians lack adequate intelligence anyway. That all this osinbajo gimmicks wont solve anything infact it is counter productive. I have said it that if osinbajo becomes the president he will be the final destruction to the economy.
God should please please bring back buhari
I sometimes wonder do you actually want Nigeria to progress? It's one thing to be realistic but constant pessimism is not good imho.

I wonder when we'll become smart enough for critical thinking. These old fvckers ruling us go just dey do leg over for the uneducated youth who have no future.

Most of the rubbish in this article is nothing but an exercise in day dreaming. Economic plans with ambiguous unrealistic goals and zero means of achieving them.

Example: The Plan envisages that by 2020, Nigeria would have made significant progress towards achieving structural economic change with a more diversified and inclusive economy.

What is the definition of "significant"?
What are the explicitly laid out plans for achieving this unrealistic goal? Etc etc.
You are completely right. What can't be quantified, can not be measured. There is a reason goals need to be SMART - specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time based. I wish they could follow this format for all the plans they come up with, wishful thinking is not enough.

Notwithstanding, I still think Osibanjo is headed in the right direction.

I feel sorry for the guy especially his people. suicide is never an option
Carry a piece of paper & pen and calculate how much forex £ Buhari has accrued so far on his 'medical vacation' See the person pointing fingers not realising the remaining fingers and even his toes are all pointing back at him.

Mister "I must politicise everything", was Buhari not voted in to address the rot in the system? What has he done besides creating hardship for the whole nation? 10 years later you will still be blaming Jonathan, oh I forgot, that's what BMC riff raffs are programmed to do. Auto repeat.

Things are hard for people because the focus on just simply having money is wrong.
The focus should be on creating value and working hard to sustain and constantly improve the value created, hence many smart people are making it in this otherwise harsh economy by readjusting themselves and their priorities.

It's easier said than done anonimi, easier said than done.

Living in a country where unemployment is almost a guarantee, you have to generate your own electricity, safety is not guaranteed and God help you if you fall ill, hospitals are not equipped and do not care. It is TOUGH surviving in Nigeria, very tough, with things worsening considerably in the last 2 years, and not everyone unfortunately has that resilience to survive in such harsh environment.

I understand your point very well my brother. But let me tell u something......africans, most especially Nigerians, are not used to committing suicide; no matter the situation. Back in the days, when I was in primary and secondary school, this suicide ish was rare, Infact I never heard that a Nigerian committed suicide, not untill now.

I don't see any reason why a Nigerian with a good job, good wife, kids, home, and car would want to commit suicide! It is not in our blood.

We do that now, because of hardship! The economy is really biting hard and a lot of youths cannot cope with it.

Believe me bro, in Nigeria, people get depressed because of hardship! It's really unbearable now
.
That's the bitter truth, things are so hard for a lot of people right now. But suicide is never the answer.

Some things in life don't make sense and are not fair, but that's just how they are. The number of people that have been killed since Abacha left makes him look like a saint. Bombing of Odi, book Haram, Fulani, Biafran argitators. I can bet with you that South Africa will not be killing Nigerians if Abacha was the President. These guys are not better than the other.
There is no justification that can whitewash his evil, so let's not try and use a comparison game to make him look like a saint, he is certainly not close to one.

You have given yourself answers to your questions. The president is engaged and committed to improving healthcare in Nigeria. That doesn't mean he has to be treated with the crude healthcare he is trying to revive. Please be logical in your argument.
If you as a human being are comfortable being treated with crude healthcare, good luck to you. Other Nigerians refuse to and we will continue to speak out against this government until it practices what it preaches.

See the person talking about logical argument, does it make logical sense to you that the president of a 170mil+ country is sitting in another country with just half of that population for medical vacation? Does that make sense to you?
PoliticsRe: Fayose Gives Buhari His Phone Number To Call Him & Prove He Is Healthy by ephi123(f): 10:50am On Mar 06, 2017
seguntijan:
Haven’t presidents of other countries been sick before? Are presidents not human beings? I can cite examples from the world’s biggest democracy.
US presidents have been sick while in office.Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921) suffered a severe stroke that left him incapacitated throughout his presidency. Yet He remained in office till the end of his term in 1921.Diagnosed with polio in 1921 at the age of 39, Franklin D Roosevelt (1933-1945) still served for twelve good years though he could not stand or walk without support. Using a wheelchair in private, he never disclosed the full extent of his health condition.
Dwight Eisenhower (1953-1961) suffered heart attack in 1955 as a result of which he was hospitalized for several weeks. He also did a surgery some months later to treat Crohn’s disease and in late 1957 suffered another stroke that made him temporarily unable to speak. Yet he went ahead to win a second term after that.
John F Kennedy (1961 - 1963) had a chronic bone disease and was hospitalized nine times in his short two and a half year presidency but this was never revealed to the American public. George Bush (1989 – 1993) vomited and then fainted in front of cameras in 1992 while on a visit in Japan and heaven did not fall in America.
Now if about five of American presidents have been sick in office, what is wrong if Nigeria’s current president is also sick? Is he made of iron? I am also tempted to ask, if Buhari dies, will it be the first time that a president will die? Yaradua died here in Nigeria. Murtala Muhammad died. Tafawa Balewa died.
Eight American presidents have died in office. Fourdied of natural causes: William Henry Harrison (1841), Zachary Taylor (1850), Warren Harding (1923) and Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1945). Four others were assassinated: Abraham Lincoln (1865), James A. Garfield (1881), William McKinley (1901) and John F. Kennedy (1963).
The truth is that if Buhari dies today, his name will be written in letters of gold. It is the death of a hero primus inter pareil and the death of a reformer nulli secundus. Buhari is a dogged corruption fighter who came to rescue Nigerians from yam thieves. If he dies today he will leave an indellible record, an achievement difficult to match by his successor and a standard that is bound to create a yawning lacuna.
Presidents definitely are humans and can be sick. The question for you is all these American presidents you have generously listed up here, were they or were they not treated in American hospitals?
Please answer.

Yawning lacuna, lwkmd!! Nonsense.
Nigerians do not need grammar, they need reality to match the propaganda you guys are being paid to propagate.

I got no business with him, he has already failed. Why going abroad for treatment? Something you stood against during campaign
What happens to millions of Nigerians who cannot afford to fly overseas and get access to good healthcare?

What kind of president cannot use the healthcare in the country he is governing over?

Just this weekend I heard about LUTH, one of the largest teaching hospitals in the country, they didn't have light for 2 days, and some people had scheduled surgeries. Which is why people end up dying needlessly. And yet some people are comfortable enough to collect 250k monthly to defend this kind of evil? I call that blood money. Yep.
