freshest4live: Sugar coating what exactly? You can expose what you think is being sugar coated, the world is a global village. Also not everyone wound see things from my point of view. That is Democracy (Demonstration of crayz). Inflation is 17.6% that is reality, a figure, a fact. It can't be sugar coated and you can't spin "my view" on it. Same applies to other indices. |

QueenOfNepal:
We are at their mercy. Nigeria is living on borrowed line except the elders come together and chart a way forward. The division is getting wider daily You know what I have observed on this thread..? Some people seem to want to "impress" and have just been sugar coating the harsh reality of life many Nigerians are facing, thus people here don't know what to believe any longer. Lol. Like sugar coating would change the reality on ground |

Populous country + Uneducated populace = Disaster e.g. Nigeria.
Populous country + Educated populace = World power, Progress e.g. China. |

Only in Nigeria do illiterates rule an entire nation.
This is the core reason why Nigeria has failed to make progress in over 5 decades of existence. When a country is led by people who are not exposed nor open to development, this is the result.
Well, I wish the Middle belt the best in their quest, people seem to have had enough of this stagnancy and backwardness, thus the agitation coming from different quarters now. |

Daviddson: How does her death concern you and what does this have to do with politics? Why does news of death, pictures of crushed accident victims and blood so much make you bloggers go hay-wire? CastedDude, PrettyCrystal, and all of you who have turned Nairaland to a dump ground for bloody accident scenes and scouring people's Facebook posts for death news for percuniary gain, I advise you to desist. It's wickedness. Do you know this person whose pictures you're broadcasting on Nairaland? Seun, do something about this! Please tell them abeg. No value for human life or respect for the dead, all because of some cheap traffic and kobo kobo change. |

Population without progress, is that one a population? Population with sense is the likes of China and India who have capitalized on their growth figures by educating their populace. Most populous with nothing tangible to point at. Shame. |

shervydman: bubu's tribalistic? ........ how can u say that? well, from my own perspective, I think bubu is good, at least......he's fighting corruption. don't be fooled.....bubu's not the cause of recession. What do you call a situation where for the SSS recruitment, the whole Southern region was given just 6 positions and Buhari's state had over 50 positions? https://www.nairaland.com/3774372/recruitment-scandal-activists-tackle-ssshttps://www.nairaland.com/3767370/sss-recruitment-scandal-katsina-51What do you call a person who appoints only the people from his region into the top positions? Even when they are unqualified for the positions? Does that sound right to you in a country as diverse as Nigeria? What do you call a person who splits the country into 97% - 5% and causes division by his utterances? I don't understand if it's because there are foreigners on this thread that you guys are trying to cover things up. There is no point. Honesty is the best policy folks. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by ephi321(f): 9:01pm On Jun 22, 2017 |
freshest4live: I think the recession we are facing has to do with Buhari's economic policies in part, but mainly due to fall in oil prices affecting foreign exchange and our brothers from the south south Niger Delta Avengers. These were some of the toughest guys Buhari had to deal with, and it is believed in some quarters that the stress from avengers even contributed greatly to Bubu's poor health. If Buhari was not ready for leadership, he shouldn't have contested. He can't blame avengers for his health. He didn't have a plan for the country, all he wanted was to be president. We had high expectations for him, but he's been a huge disappointment. Someone who does not make appointments based on merit cannot succeed. That is why nepotism will always result in a failed system. |

Shaytun: No they are Not.
Most of what she said are false.
I am not a PMB supporter, heck i didnt even vote for the man.
But that dosent mean i should start spreading lies about his government. Beht why are you lying? Everything QueenOfNepal said has been on the front page in recent months. Is it inflation that is 17%? Or is it forex that has gone from $220 to over $420 in just 2 years rendering investors and companies useless? The Shiite leader who was assaulted and has almost gone blind and the gory picture was online sometime ago? I can't even start listing everything out. Please let's be honest and provide facts if you are indeed sure of what you are saying. |

Isahalbash: That was an introduction, expect more in d coming days, besides, I tink Buhari is who they dislike ND his kinsmen up north not actually Nigeria...pardon! What do you mean by expect more in the coming days? You are such a petty human being. Very disgraceful behaviour. Even if you choose to display your tribalistic behaviour on politics threads, you should at least have the common sense to keep it out of a thread like this. All because you have no self esteem and want to famz and impress strangers on a public forum. I'm ashamed on your behalf. I've got my eyes on you. Type more rubbish and I will be on your case. |
