****Every society has his or her problems. N try to stay away from this thread if you don't want to be mentioned. Good riddance to bad rubbish! You don't own this thread and I will comment when and how I want to. genieluv: Sometimes i find you Southern Nigerians to be heavy hypocrites (am sorry if i sound insultive).
**** You guys keep on talking about how northern Nigerians dominate the military, politics or whatever buh you do not talk about how you guys dominate the economy of the country. You guys are not talking about how the British favoured you guys by establishing the capital of the country in Lagos n how this has brought heavy development n urbanisation to Southern Nigeria n how this has made Southern Nigeria the economic powerhouse of the country.
Why don't you guys tell this to the Kenyans? ephi321 n co Please stop making noise on my mention. Are you okay at all? Logically, Northerners cannot dominate the economy when they have remained largely uneducated. Whose fault is it that they've continued to propagate the almajiri system and not educate their youths like other regions have done? Figures and facts can never be twisted no matter how hard you try. In any case, make your ignorant and false comments in peace and keep me out of that nonsense. Same goes for the commenter above. I don't know you from Adam and won't tolerate you quoting my moniker aimlessly all over the place. |

hucienda: Congratulations to the young man.
How will our educational institutions improve? The universities in Nigeria are now for the masses.
Notice that the politicians don't do anything in Nigeria from President to the very least amongst them. Hospital? Abroad. School? Abroad. Vacation? Abroad. Frivolity? Abroad. Et cetera? Abroad. Only time they remember the country is when they are around to collect their loot and at the very end of their journey on the planet. How far we've degenerated from 1960.
No be only you. Exact reason unis can be on strike for endless months, because these mofos have no stake in it. If their children were also sitting at home on strike, no one would tell them before they address the requests of ASUU and co. Salary wahala, Equipment and laboratories wahala. Graduate sef, afterwards no job. Yet some human is defending this rubbish?! |

SmartyPants: You are the one who can't see what the key issue is in this case. All i want is for you to explain is:
1. How the presence of the Attorney General's son in a Nigerian school makes it better, given that i. the attorney general has no influence over education ii. the majority of politicians kids schooled in the country from kindergarten through secondary school. How did it improve the education system?
2. Entrance into schools is based on merit. Should politicians kids be granted automatic entry at the exclusion of better qualified candidates, in order to achieve whatever benefits you believe will accrue?
3. Is the politicians son or daughter not an adult with a right to choose where and what they want to study?
Answer All.
Goodluck making sense. I can't be wasting my time answering questions that any right thinking person should already have answers to. As I said earlier, continue with the defense. It eventually always comes round to bite people in the butt. So yes, continue. |

sarrki: How will our education system work
When everyone from the presidency to local government sends their kids abroad
I tire for all our leaders across party Good you accept that your master Buhari falls into the same category of politicians benefiting from this country but sending all their children to foreign universities, using foreign hospitals. What a shame and total disgrace. |
Politics › Re: Abubakar Malami Attends His Son's Graduation Ceremony In Cyprus. PICS by ephi321(f): 12:41pm On Jun 23, 2017 |
SmartyPants: 1. How does the Attorney General's son's presence in any Nigerian school make that school or the schooling system any better? Does the attorney general's position have a bearing on the education system?
2. If the Attorney General's son cannot meet the entry requirements should he be granted automatic admission anyway, in order to achieve the benefits, with regards to 1. above, which you may believe may exist? Did you seriously ask these questions? Then the situation in this country is even more critical if we can't even see clearly what the key issues are. And even worse are defending this. Captives defending their captors. Continue. |

Maduawuchukwu: The most educated today can be the least 2mao. That is how life rolls. Many African nations were more developed than China in the 70's but the case is different today. 2mao? haha. Yeah, very right. Please go and make your case elsewhere. I've got no time. The North has always been under-developed, and has retrogressed even worse in recent years because other parts have embraced change and progress. You can't twist history on its head. |

Maduawuchukwu: Nobody here is sugar coating anything. The argument was between other African countries and Naija as to which was more developed(mind u we were not arguing that Naija was developed, it was a relative argument) and we brought out figures to prove our case. So where did the sugarcoating come from? Mister, before you jump down people's comments, would be good for you to read their previous interactions. His reply to me was based on a discussion that started yesterday about the current state of things in Nigeria. That is what I responded to. My comment has no reference to other African countries. |

Ngozi123: They were most definitely not the most enlightened. The achievements made by the Oyo and Nri empires, amongst others, dispels that myth. The word "enlightened" has very racist undertones btw so I wouldn't take any black person who uses it in this context seriously. Lol. I was being sarcastic about the "enlightened, exposed" part because that is something everyone in Nigeria knows. |

This is a case of history revisionist "Better administrators, most exposed, most enlightened", so how did they end up being the people with the highest levels of illiteracy and poverty in the country I think I am done with this thread.
