OK.
Shit happens in Nigeria, that's the truth but that doesn't make this current recruitment process 90% connection based as someone speculated here. All we need is favour, God still works wonders!

The last time I remember, no comprehensive list was released where you could have made your findings, and moreover, you did not know his name.... This story get as e be Abeg.

So, it's possible to resume at state command of residence rather that of origin?

Since you have an affidavit, you are good to go. No need for guarantor form. Your statements of results are useful. After returning from Abuja, you resume at your state command. All the best!

By next weekend, when the physical screening would have been concluded, the next anxious wait will be triggered.

May all the resources we sacrificed (time, energy, money, intellect, etc) not be in vain!

Some people (I follow too ) are already tensed because of how important this job is to their plans and rightly so.

I believe that, God will do the best for everyone.

So while we wait for the conclusion of the physical screening, remember that the battle is not of the swift or strong. .....IT IS GOD THAT SHOWS MERCY!

May we find His mercies in abundance. Bon weekend.
Amen and amen in Jesus name.
Aptly written my brother. May favour locate us at the end because getting the job would put so many things in motion, it's been a long time searching for job.

On this issue of NIS vs Nscdc.
You all are indirectly saying same thing in different ways.
The general conclusion/summary from the submission of both sides of argument is wen given an opportunity to make choice between NIS and nscdc Job (at Same rank) Majority will choose NIS over NSCDC. Irrespective of them both having similar salary scale and under same ministry.

Case closed.
Court!!!!!!! Arise
As your lordship pleases!
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2020 Recruitment by Epistasis(m): 10:59am On Aug 18, 2021
Working with NIS is great but the fact remains that NIS is not NCS, FIRS, NNPC, PPPRA or Nigerian military. So, NIS and NSCDC are not mates mantra is nothing but an illusion. In the ministry of interior, NIS is the best and have the toughest job, everybody knows that but the pay is the same with other sister agencies.

I wasn't preaching a sermon, and most importantly I didn't mention your name in anything I said, so I don't understand the need for you to come to me in the manner you just did.
You have just said the same thing I said by saying NIS is the best in the ministry of interior. You need to know how to talk mr man, you don't just try to disrespect everybody you see online just because you have a phone and Internet connection. Stop trying to bring yourself out.
I am sorry if you found my quote offensive, it wasn't meant to get you offended.

BIGOB:
In as much as I don't agree with the glorified security guard things, truth remains that the NIS is miles ahead of the NSCDC. Yes a junior personnel will pay complement to his superior in all sister agencies, it is only right. But take it or leave it, NIS and NSCDC no be mate. That's just the fact. For the guy talking about 70% of personnel's in the NIS not getting more than their basic, should get his facts right. And for the oil guy, hope you're aware NIS personnel's also work at sea ports? I wouldn't disrespect the NSCDC as a whole because they are doing a great job. They have grown a lot, but, but, but, NIS no be their mate. Same salary scale, yes, same ranks and all, yes, but the NIS is ahead of them.
They are not mates yet they earn the same salary, what are you talking about this man?. Everybody knows that NIS is the best in the ministry of interior, so save us the sermon. The most important thing is to get a job with either NIS or NSCDC that pays your bills and make life better for you. Dem no be mate stuffs na story story abegg.

Deployment might take a little longer, because after physical verification another list will be sent of those NPower batch c applicants with 100% complete physical verification, that means the list of those that passed the physical verification
Technically, deployment is till next year!

I believe many people will choose NSCDC. 04 surpass 03 only with slight difference in pay. Buh you're more of a glorified security guard with civil defense.
I believe you'll make extra cash on the job with NIS than NSCDC
Make extra cash as in bribes right, clap for yourself... Say no to extra cash, lets make Nigeria a better place together.
NIS is tougher than NSCDC anytime, any day, most especially for junior officers. The slight difference in pay is something bros.

ASI 2 is a 1 STAR officer.

selfish? Did you just say selfish? When you are making "payment in the shadows" did you come here? Rather you were beating ur chest as e sure for you cos you've paid. NIS shout that you shouldn't pay a dime for this recruitment, but the "SELFISH, DESPERATE AND FOOLISH" ones did otherwise. Your eyes clear now you're coming to nairaland to wail? Go and ask who you paid to.
It's just well!

Thank you for your input. I am the individual.

I'd still go for the documentation (ASI) till I'm ready to leave as proposed by some of the wise beings here.
Follow your heart man. The best NIS can offer is a meal ticket, your vision, goals and aspirations are much more important because you will be fulfilled at the end. You are academically inclined and highly favoured by the MOST HIGH, you have a great future ahead man.
All the best!
