Someone got this NIS invitation (ASI) and also got a scholarship award for a masters in UK. Please which do you guys advice to drop/follow up on. Please drop comments with reasons. The person is at a cross road right now and needs to make decisions, and make them fast. Thank you for your comments, as I expect them to roll in.

UK masters scholarship and NIS job are miles apart. Scholarship in the UK is a once in a lifetime opportunity, that person must take it up ASAP. I believe that fellow must be loaded academically, so getting a PhD scholarship in the UK, US or Canada won't be a problem. A masters scholarship in the UK any day, anytime.

all states are given 3 days in this physical screening 1st day Bsc NCE and Diploma 2nd and third days SSCE you can ask when your state are going for their screening and see if your date correspond with the one you have

Kindly make enquiries about the date, according to them screening is to end on 25th. If your centre is not too far from your place of residence, I will encourage that you go on the 25th.

To be candid, this Npower batch is the worst of all. Enrollment was in June 2020, two years and two months after there is no particular direction the program is heading. I thought it's meant to alleviate poverty?. It's well with Nigeria!

Many who didn't partake in the entire process will get APL at the end of the day.

I can't tell, some candidates just arrived when I was leaving the place.

I had my screening at the Abeokuta centre today. Very easy and stress free, documents thoroughly checked.

Wow, it's been a wonderful journey with lot of you here, right from the application process, to the test, then the screening.

I already lost hope after the test, when people started getting invitation for screening and I didn't get mine, I left this thread and started focusing on doing better at my workplace.

Then a week plus after, I got an invitation, ran down to nairaland to follow this thread again, since then, I've been very optimistic and I believe that with God, all things are possible.

I declare that I'm getting this job in Jesus name. I also wish each and everyone of us a successful ending to this. Amen.

Just in case it's going to be as discussed here, serving in your state of origin first, well I'm from Osun, I applied for the superintendent cadre. Osun candidates can let us hook up and look after each other.

when d final list show, 90% of the people that gets it via connection or payment will tell u they got it without knowing anyone. Nigerians bad pass Nigeria .

Some people are just good at deceiving theirselfs but immigration final list might wake them up from their illusions

What I know is that people who don't know anybody will still get the job while many with strong connections will miss out. Quote me when the immigration final list is out.

let me say: recruitment processes in federal ministry of interior is getting better now, so u av to be very mindful of who promises ur name will not be shortlisted during screening but when final list lands. be carefull!!!

I'm beginning to doubt ur nationality. A true Nigerian already knows u don't even need to apply for the job to get APL. Money and "who ask you to come" will do all the screening for u.

You are right anyways but the truth still remains that many people who paid money won't get APL and so many without connect will get the job. Quote me when APL is out.

I am not the c.g or secretary of the board, even they don't have full control of anything at the end of the day, I just give as authentic as dey come, and if there are changes, it's what it is...

No one is paying anybody for information, it's not a competition, I don't want anything from anybody, I am not seeking glory, I only drop because I want to, and help those who might want to plan ahead..

So I advise take any information with a pinch of salt, with anything government, a lot of factors come to play, so all the petty side comments are not necessary...
