thelastpope10: Party leadership is not the business of the ordinary citizen my friend. It is the business of the card carrying members. If you want to have a voice to determine party leadership, go and register as a member. You cannot sit in front of your PC and determine party leadership. You do not belong to one party and determine the leadership of another. You only determine the LGA, state or FG government positions not party leadership. Get it?

BusinessRe: 5 Ways To Increase Your Intelligence by EPOMA(m): 5:25pm On May 27, 2013
dr-pips:
1. Minimize Television Watching – This is a hard sell. People love vegetating in front of the television, myself included more often than I’d like. The problem is watching television doesn’t use your mental capacity OR allow it to recharge. It’s like having the energy sapped out of a muscle without the health benefits of exercise.

Don’t you feel drained after a couple hours of TV? Your eyes are sore and tired from being focused on the light box for so long. You don’t even have the energy to read a book.

When you feel like relaxing, try reading a book instead. If you’re too tired, listen to some music. When you’re with your friends or family, leave the tube off and have a conversation. All of these things use your mind more than television and allow you to relax.

2. Exercise – I used to think that I’d learn more by not exercising and using the time to read a book instead. But I realized that time spent exercising always leads to greater learning because it improves productivity during the time afterwards. Using your body clears your head and creates a wave of energy. Afterwards, you feel invigorated and can concentrate more easily.

3. Read Challenging Books – Many people like to read popular suspense fiction, but generally these books aren’t mentally stimulating. If you want to improve your thinking and writing ability you should read books that make you focus. Reading a classic novel can change your view of the world and will make you think in more precise, elegant English. Don’t be afraid to look up a word if you don’t know it, and don’t be afraid of dense passages. Take your time, re-read when necessary, and you’ll soon grow accustomed to the author’s style.

Once you get used to reading challenging books, I think you’ll find that you aren’t tempted to go back to page-turners. The challenge of learning new ideas is far more exciting than any tacky suspense-thriller.

4. Early to Bed, Early to Rise – Nothing makes it harder to concentrate than sleep deprivation. You’ll be most rejuvenated if you go to bed early and don’t sleep more than 8 hours. If you stay up late and compensate by sleeping late, you’ll wake up lethargic and have trouble focusing. In my experience the early morning hours are the most tranquil and productive. Waking up early gives you more productive hours and maximizes your mental acuity all day.

If you have the opportunity, take 10-20 minute naps when you are hit with a wave of drowsiness. Anything longer will make you lethargic, but a short nap will refresh you.

5. Take Time to Reflect – Often our lives get so hectic that we become overwhelmed without even realizing it. It becomes difficult to concentrate because nagging thoughts keep interrupting. Spending some time alone in reflection gives you a chance organize your thoughts and prioritize your responsibilities. Afterwards, you’ll have a better understanding of what’s important and what isn’t. The unimportant stuff won’t bother you anymore and your mind will feel less encumbered
Please you forward to Goodluck and Godswill
PoliticsRe: Rotimi Amaechi Has Been Suspended From PDP by EPOMA(m): 5:20pm On May 27, 2013
ayox2003: Those who call GEJ a clueless president have no clue what he's capable of.

‎They said he's cool, gentle, soft and clueless, yet he increased the price of fuel, making the spending power of nigerians reduce. Since he increased the price of fuel, average nigerians have been finding it very difficult to spend money.

He's clueless, yet he didn't bring the perpetrators- the cabals to book. Not even one of them has been nailed.

‎He's clueless, yet he rubbished the recommendations of Ribadu.

‎He's clueless, yet he forgave Alams and paid Fasheun N2bn while youths are unemployed.

He's clueless, yet he sought to increase his tenure to 7years immediately he was voted in.

‎He's clueless, yet he said 'I dont give a damn' on national TV.

‎The clueless man just booted Amaechi out by force just for his presidential ambition.

I remember some people in Port-Harcourt died durring his presidential campaign because it was over-crowded. Hahahaha. Keep calling him clueless while he goes to church tomorrow where gullible folks will say "He is god-sent".

Until nigerians separate emotions, looks and ethnicity from a proven track-record, they will keep getting a dose of 'cluelessness' and 'fresh air.'

PoliticsRe: Amaechi Re-elected As Chairman Of Nigeria Governors Forum by EPOMA(m): 10:39pm On May 24, 2013
So Akpabio gave a press conference and he wants Nigerians to believe that his candidate (Jang) won the election. Only fools will believe Akpabio, who is well known by Akwa Ibom people as a pathological liar.

The list below produced by Akpabio showed that Dankwmbo of Gombe signed and voted for Jang. But the truth is that among the 36 governors in Nigeria, Dankwmbo (the governor of Gombe State) was the only governor who did not vote. Yet Akpabio, as usual, did not blink when he faced the camera and told the nation that it was his candidate who won.

Please find out the truth; watch Nigerian News by clicking or checking on http://www.channelstv.com/home/.

For many years, petitions had been submitted to Jonathan, appeals have been made to him, and open and private letters had been sent to Jonathan asking him to call Akpabio to order from his lies and corrupt practices. But Jonathan refused to listen.

Today the president has found out that anyone who dine and wine with Godswill Akpabio will always end up at the other end of Satanwill Akpabio.

BusinessRe: Forex Trading - Season 13 by EPOMA(m): 10:49pm On May 18, 2013
Pipsland78: No single broker has the amount of cash required to influence the market. I wonder why folks keep saying that people lose because their brokers are betting against them, it's just not possible and this is why: if I'm using broker A and I decide to short the EU, and broker A decides to bet against me by longing the EU. It means that broker A is betting in favour of all other traders who are longing the EU at that particular moment. And what about brokers B, C, D, E,F, etc who are equally either shorting or longing the EU at that same moment. Also, what about the investment banks, governments, mutual funds, etc who are equally longing or shorting the EU at that same moment? So if my broker is betting against me, that means my broker is equally betting against soooooooo many other traders who are betting in my favour. And my broker simply does not have the amount of funds to influence the market - no broker does.

So the idea of a broker betting against a trader simply isnt valid; the market simply follows the majority and my broker doesnt make up the majority. If it were true that my broker could bet against me and force me to make a loss, then I shouldnt have been growing my account on a very consistent basis for so long.

Again, the market simply follows the money!
I keep wondering why people say that

PoliticsRe: What Is Your Definition Of Development? by EPOMA(m): 10:36pm On May 13, 2013
Afam4eva: I’ve been thinking of what the universal definition of development is and have tried to juxtapose it with the definition of development to the average Nigeria and there seems to be some disparity. In other parts of the world, development is often used to describe a general appreciation of infrastructure and the people who use the infrastructure but here in Nigeria, the former seems to be the most accepted definition. Could we be getting all wrong in our quest to develop our country?

Just to expatiate on this topic, I’ve noticed that governors who are termed to be working are those who have erected gargantuan structures that are evident to the eye of the citizenry. Meaning, if the governor of Ebonyi state can erect the tallest building in Nigeria today, he will win many awards and be praised by Nigerians yet this skyscraper will have no direct positive consequence on the average Ebonyi resident.

On the other hand, if a government decides to spend money on different forms of education (not necessarily by building MEGA schools) which will develop the mindset of the average citizenry, as long as there’s no quick physical evidence of this, the governor is not termed to be working.

Are we not getting our priorities wrong? Cos it seems what the governors are doing is urbanization rather than development. If you go to Akwa Ibom state for example, despite the fact that the governor is praised for building gigantic structures, the average citizen of that state is poor and cannot relate with what is available in that state

Very correct, I say this everyday

helpee: forex on the first page? pls, if u ever love urself, dont ever go in2 it. it is fraud perpetuated by brokers. these brokers dont ever allow ur moni to get to the market. they hope that instead of u losing to the market it is bettet u lose all the moni to them. imagine ur broker trading against u on their platform. u can never make profit with retail forex. dont tell me about a single trade. tell us just one succesful individual in nigeria that we know whose main source of income is forex...i tell u none! The people that are deceiving u are those teachers of forex. they make their money solely from teaching forex. they dont ever trade themselves cos they know its fraud. all the teachers of forex that were so popular 5yrs ago wen forex was reigning all ran away after losing millions of people's fund to forex. 4get all those stories about technical and fundamental indicators. they are all fraud. i lost millions to forex and i kept believing it was my fault. the weapon they use is that GREED is what is killing you. na lie! many times, if u exit a losing trade u will suddenly realise that had u stayed in that trade u would have made millions. nxt time u give it a try u will run in2 so much loss and it is never easy to claim a loss so the natural thing 2 do is to keep hoping the market will return. the truth is that they are playing with ur emotion by manipulating their trading platform. it is not greed or lack of education that makes u to lose in forex but fraud. what education do u need to trade baba ijebu? forex is same. baba ijebu too will tell u some numbers are sure but na lie. same with forex. i made moni from who wants to be a millionaire and wasted it on forex within a week. i collected part of my mum's pension and wasted it on forex. the day i was delivered was the day God told me to go and sell my laptop at computer village cos forex is addictive even if u lose moni u still assume its ur fault. since i sold my laptop i had no access to d market, faced my job and with hardwork, i am where i am today. a word is enough for the wise
I don,t like to make much comment here, I thing a lot of people are very ignorant about trading. For those blaming brokers, if you have good money and internet, you can trade directly. People here trade gold and indices as well. most banks make their money from trading. Even a country like nigeria makes most of its money from crude oil trading. If the charts, fundamentals of trading is not there, oil would be selling for peanut. don't want to say much.
Becos Nigerian banks don't really take trading seriously, that is why they charge 5 per thousand, charge for atm withdrawal, ridiculous interest on loan and just look for anyway to take people money.

why do newyork, london , dubai have financial centres. Please lets say only what we know
