QuinQ: OMG, can't you see that if you can film even the Police in public then there is nobody you can't film??!! Police that can be said to be doing some confidential stuff can be filmed talkless of a person just walking down the street! And stop deceptively using the word "engage", we are talking about just filming someone in a public space (where, naturally, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy). Bro... I give up. YOU WIN! |

We clarified over and over again. Its about content creators who engage with people on the streets without seeking their consent first. What's the correlation between that and filming the police? Is the police a private citizen? You're starting to get irritating because I don't know if you just choose not to comprehend things or you just don't have the capacity to comprehend. |

The best in public schools in Lagos have always been way ahead of the best in private schools in Lagos.
Private schools breed more of above average students while public schools are fortunate to have a few best brains in a class and the rest are just deliquents. Unfortunately, just like in Nigeria, the delinquents are the most visible.
That's how it has always been. |

That's foolishness of the highest order. Are you with him every second of everyday? Do you have all his social media accounts or you believe he doesn't have a life outside nairaland? You people are taking this social media thing too seriously. People have real lives and discuss real issues with real people physically. Not everyone sleeps and wakes up on nairaland. thedio: Did u say govt land? I can see that u don’t reside in Ibadan. The former gov only acquired just 150m and paid the affected ppl. Seyi decided to extend it to 10000m and asked them to go and die You've not answered my question, why are they not taking the government to court? A previous government acquiring the land does not mean the people owned the land to begin with. It only means that government has a different approach. This thing is not affecting one or two people, it's affecting a lot of people. So why not all come together and take the government to court if you're absolutely sure you have legal authority over the land? |

thedio: forget religion Seyi is grabbing poor people’s land, and demolishing their houses without compensation in the name of road construction. Imagine 10000m width of land along 110km road that is less than 10m in width Hes grabbing people's lands, should they have bought lands there in the first place? People will clearly see government lands but because it's idle, will buy it from one scammer and start building on it hoping they can get away with it. Why are they not all coming together to take the government to court? The exact same thing is happening in Osun state but the fortunate thing is most of them were warned before even embarking on it. |

His opinion is meaningless, just as your comment. If you do not have an understanding of issues as serious and deep as this, do not rush to comment. Learn and get acquainted. That way, you opinions and comments will make more meaning to those who read them. Even if his opinion is trash, it's his opinion and he's entitled to it. You have no right to police anyone's opinion. Person wey get forum sef no dey police people's comments, let alone one ignorant user somewhere. This animalistic mentality is what birthed extremism. Believing only your opinion is right and trying to shut people up. Very savage behavior. |

AMINDA: Relax, Tinubu is Finishing Nigerians (RTIFN). How would we get rice to distribute to Nigerians if we do not import? School is not always a scam. I forgot, hatred is your first nature and even education can't change that. Let me educate you a bit. I'm not even a Tinubu supporter and I know your moniker is synonyms with hate. In economics, there's something called comparative advantage. It means things that are cheaper to be produced locally compared to being imported should be produced locally and vice versa. It's not about emotions, it's basic economics. |

zoedew: You appear to misjudge my stance. I’m not saying that Ede is not part of Osun State or that it does not deserve new roads like other places in Osun State. My point is that considering that Ede is least of the commercial centres of Osun State the resources of the State should not have been so deployed. Single lane roads would have been wiser and a better use of the State resources. Ilesha to Osogbo should have been dualised as it leads to Ilesha the unarguably commercial nerve centre of Osun State. It would link the economy of Osun State seamlessly to the A1 the expressway that leads from Lagos to Abuja. Also, the Iwo-Ibadan Road that has been bad for decades now should have received attention instead considering that it would seamlessly link Osun State economy to that of Oyo State. In all, it is a sad commentary on quality of governance in Osun State. I am not a partisan politician. Iwo-ibadan road, is it a state government road? What makes ilesha the commercial hub of Osun State? Osogbo still remains the commercial hub of Osun State. Also, Ede is not the least commercial town in Osun state. I really don't know where you're getting these things from. Ede hosts redeeemers university, Adeleke university, ede poly, and at least 2 other private universities. How many jobs and commercial activities do you think that creates? Also, Osun state is one of the few states that still practice true grassroots politics. No one living in Osun state will complain about him developing Ede because that's one of the most important questions he'll be asked after he leaves office, "what did you do to improve your hometown?" Akande focused on ila Orangun, Oyinlola focused on Okuku, Aregbesola focused on ilesha, so why should Adeleke not give some priority to Ede? The problem would have been if he developed Ede and neglected other places which is definitely not the case. |
