That's the point I was hoping to make. The term 'prayer' has made speaking to God look like something special. That term needs to be discarded and more emphasis should be placed on communicating with God.

Prayer makes it sound like it's a Christian-only thing and there are special procedures to go through before you can communicate with your maker.

What's the difference between praying and talking to God?
