And the fact that such knowledge is either unproven or negotiated with is no reason for anyone with clarity of mind to strut about bestowing innocence on him outside the courtroom. In a court room yes, but in a town hall, no.

I never bestowed innocence on him, just cautioning against imposing false convictions on him. With how you claim not be naive, how sensible is it to assume he knew about the source of the funds when the court that tried him never reached that conclusion? Do you have better investigative resources than the FBI and American DOJ?

You can't claim to be educated and informed and still engage in "beer parlor gossip" like ordinary unlearned folks. That's a shame on the years you devoted to attaining said education. It's not a case that has not been decided in court yet and can be open to speculations. An investigation was conducted and a verdict was reached, and that verdict was clear and precise. He's a criminal either ways, but attribute the right crime to him, not something that suits your political sensationalism.

What does the fact say? He forfeited money linked to someone else's drug operations that was in his account. Or do you have any fact that says otherwise? At no point was he the one tried for drugs. If EFCC and ICPC we actually doing their jobs, do you know how many regular Nigerians will be tried for similar reasons?

This is the most ignorant statement I think I've seen in a long time.

Tinubu was NEVER tried for drug crimes. He was tried for using his account to channel funds linked to someone else's drug case. There's a clear difference. You can call him a fraudster, but definitely not a drug pusher except you're trying to be intentionally dense or mischievous, or both.

If it's one of those reallocated numbers, it's possible that happens and the reason is not as sinister as you may think but a result of the government's failure.

When government forced telecom companies to barr numbers that were not linked to NIN, a lot of people had to resort to asking others to help them link their lines with their own NIN so they don't get barred.
