kunlesufyan:That's where you get it wrong. Any businessman can deal with negativity from their target audience but undue negativity from random nonentities who can't even afford your services or cross your path on a normal day is where they draw the line. The mistake he made was trying to be liked by people. He should have left his account to be handled by social media managers only and only speak when absolutely necessary and relates with his business. A lot of people on social media have terrible lives and try to make the lives of others terrible as well. So it's never a win-win for you. They have nothing to lose. In the worst case, they still get your attention but you will always leave bruised. |
Nigerians die in Egypt and other countries daily and it's not news, why should an Egyptian dying in Nigeria be news? Inferiority complex! |
This is what they call "see finish". That's where most men get it wrong, they tend to "see their wife finish" after marriage. When you live constantly with someone, they tend not be have anything special anymore and that's where your maturity should come in. She has options too and if she decides to do like you do, nah you e go pain pass because your ego won't let you overlook it or get over it even if you end up divorcing her. People think it's infedility and those other things that ruin marriages but not always, lack of appreciation also ruins marriages. |
I didn't see any mockery in what he wrote. If that's how the countries the NGO's come from are doing, will we be rushing there? You can't always cry victim when it was you who refused to do the right thing at the right time. This mentality of "do it first, apologize/settle later" is the reason we find it hard to move forward. You can't keep doing the wrong thing and keep expecting the government to keep turning the blind eye. Fashola's time in Lagos was one of the most effective, not because he spent more or did anything special, but he made sure everyone understood there are consequences for their actions. He brought back discipline and accountability and everyone hated him at first because it affected one or two people they knew but eventually when people saw the benefits outweighed the inconveniences, they adjusted. We need to start understanding that these are the tough decisions that need to be made for anything to work out. |
franchasng:Unnecessary war of ego you call it? Lol... A lot of you have no idea what you talk about. You just follow the band wagon. Maybe when you become president of a country in your next life and a joint union of your enemies are planning to ally with your next door neighbor thereby allowing them build military facilities right at your doorstep, you'll chill and tell them to go ahead. Lol. You people are funny. |
Profgordons:That's not how freedom of association works. You can associate with whomever you want. Why will a missionary school not allow a Muslim student use hijab since the student has the right to associate with whoever she wants? They can resign from working for Dangote and go to anywhere they are free to associate. It's not a constitutional thing, if it was, NUPENG will be taking Dangote to court by now. If the drivers working for Dangote don't want to be members of NUPENG, it's within their right as well. But they know they can't win in court, that's the reason they are using the strong-arm tactics of going on strike to hold the country hostage and force hardship on everyone else. Dangote is a private entity. It's like ASUU striking because private universities are not allowing their members join union. How does that make sense? |
jmoore:Whats the Correlation? |
kedeojo:Bro... You get time. They want to change it, they should go and change it. It's a free world. I don't know how people will just devote their lives to senseless rants. They should start campaigning, win presidency and then change it. But you won't sit down in your house and tell people who have earned something how to use it. It makes no sense. The president they are waving at isn't complaining, the governors are not complaining, the people in the governors' states are not complaining, so what's your own? |
PulsingPurple:Graphite pencils are majorly for art... 0.5 to 2.0 mechanical pencil is what I know they use most. You can get graphite refills for the mechanic pencils as well. |
Make una dey whine unaself go... The white man has achieved his aim, and you're left dealing with the confusion. The fact that most Christians even believe Jesus is a white man is testament enough. |
Lol... ADC is not even the major opposition party, why will the ruling party waste their time trying to give them attention by attacking them? Makes no political sense. But then, most of these people online don't have sense, they are fueled by hatred and emotions. Ask those that were attacked, they know who attacked them. Trying to get sympathy support is not new but this is the wrongest way to go about it. Only children in politics won't know that this is an inhouse job. Lol. |
Elusive001:What is this one saying? How does meeting a country in bankruptcy relate with the thread? Una go just dey try prove nonsense. The thread is about Nigeria Air, take your shallow distractions elsewhere. |
davodyguy:This is an ignorant statement. Did you even read what he's suing for? |
Nigeria's second richest man by whose estimation? |
tunjijones:This was unnecessary. South west that marriage rites are not as expensive, are there no criminals there? Don't we worship money and the wealthy as well? Not everything has to be tribalistic. We all suffer from the same problems; decadence of the society. |
smtx:It was sarcasm actually. I'm just saying we are both powerless. So why not select battles wisely and stick to calling out things that actually matter rather than waste time on irrelevancies. This is how distraction works. They let us get carried away with things that don't matter and we lose focus of things that are actually affecting us and our development as a people. |
I'm sorry or maybe I didn't read it right but the post you claimed she liked didn't mention any tribe or set anyone apart. Please help point me to where any tribe was mentioned or how the conclusion was gotten that the post was referring to a particular tribe maybe from previous posts or something. That said, her position is too sensitive for such. She shouldn't even be liking any comments regardless of who it's from or what it's about except posts lifting Nigeria's image. |
smtx:Agreed, I'm choosing to sit back and do nothing about it because nothing I do will change anything. If I'll disturb myself, it'll be on something actually tangible and worth it. Not some governors deciding to see the president of their country off to the airport on vacation. Have you guys even considered maybe they came for some last minute meeting and just used to opportunity to see him off to the airport? But I believe you have more influence than me and can actually effect some changes. Please go ahead. Like I said, it's just my opinion. |
DARLYNBOI:Lol... The expenses will still be used for something not worth it even if they don't go. Like I said, you people are tackling the wrong things. All these are byproducts, not the root cause. Until you start addressing the root causes, you all are only wasting your time complaining over nothing. |
smtx:Go and beat them nah. Abi? You're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. But if e pain you reach that one, go and flog them back to their states. |
Alex Reports on the beat. |
YoshiMaster:All those mob lynching mentality will do you no good here. My opinion is my opinion. If you like call Amadioha, it won't change it. You're entitled to yours too if you have a working brain. Besides, I hope you're not one of those who support remote jobs because that will be hypocritical to say the least. Y'all only embrace civilization when it suits your agenda. What memo can you show me physically that you can't send to my mail? You want 21st century governance but still play 18th century politics. Dey play. |
Lol... Una leave serious issues dey pursue nonsense. I always say it, Nigerians are not ready. What is this for Christ's sake? This stupid mentality that someone has to be physically present somewhere to do their job especially a president and governors is just stupid. All they do is approve and disapprove most times which they can do from anywhere. Why do you think so much is spent on special advisers, ministers, etc? Why do they have deputies? Play opposition with sense. If no governor was there, the same you people would come and say governors have rejected him. Pick an argument and stick with it. If these things are not protocol, do you think they'll do it. Every country with its own protocols. It has happened under almost every president, why is it a problem now? You go look for irrelevant things and make them issues. Unfortunately, social media is filled with empty brains so they also focus on it. And you wonder why your government doesn't take you seriously? They never will with how you all keep focusing on stupidity. |
Gustavowhite:I was expecting this. If you'll be an idiot, at least be an informed idiot. |
Gustavowhite:Lol... Which town in kwara are they from? |
Everybody shouting jail jail jail... Last time I checked, a private citizen can also sue someone to court. If you feel you have enough evidence to prove his corruption, please proceed. I hate people that throw around accusations but can't back it with action. The "saner clime" you're shouting, it's the same process. If a citizen feels a former official is quilty of corruption and the government isn't doing anything about it, then they can take him/her to court. He already said all the documents and process can be requested for under the FOI bill. So what's stopping you? The same saner clime where Biden gave his son a presidential pardon. Lol. Dey play. |
esnbrutality:Source: Trust me bro |
Pythagoras001:Lol... No honest businessman will ever think of being president of a country especially Nigeria except they have retired from actively managing their business(es). That said, politics and business and 2 very different fields. Okorocha was a great business man but terrible Governor. Even Peter Obi (no offense to him). My point is, you can have the final say in your business, you can't when running a country. There's power struggle here and there, too many variables out of your control. |
Lol... I hope your ip is not traceable though. This is a weighty allegation and if Seun let's it slide, then I guess he's guilty as alleged. |
All you own posts no pass killing of spouses and parents. Wetin happen? |
Latanini:Soviet union and Germany once said the same. |
CodeTemplarr:And Niger Delta is giving out oil for free I guess. Their governors don't get a larger share and other benefits? Lol. Una go learn. |
