Aldol:No wahala bro, sha las las next year will come and pass. Let’s just hope that whoever comes in will make things better |
Aldol: Normally if no be politics and insecurity we suppose dey chill one side dey download one or two bottles. Sha las las issue no dey just try vote Obi next year abeg ![]() |
Aldol:Replied you bro, what else? |
Aldol:Send link bros ![]() Modified: Just read through and bro Aldol be like you get faulty comprehension skills. They agreed to start with percentage payment then periodically review after some time to increase the salaries. Was Obiano not the one supposed to be responsible for that after Obi left office? What party does he belong to? APC!!!! ![]()
|
Aldol:I can’t believe that you’d display your low IQ to this extent ffs ![]() You posted an article from when doctors were on strike and I simply told you that after the new salary scheme was implemented that they became one of the highest paid medical staff in the country. What is hard to understand there abi are you suddenly finding it hard to comprehend English? You have no point here and comparing Lagos that was once an FCT and with the magnitude of resources at its disposal, still rates low among other African cities in its category to Anambra that was decimated by the war and officially created in 1991 is laughable lmao. You should be ashamed of yourself for supporting a Tinubu that has robbed Lagosians blind for over a decade |
Aldol: You’re sending screenshots from when they went on strike bros, after the strike were they not among the highest paid medical staff in the country so what point are you making exactly? Where did I say that they were the highest paid per-strike? |
Anndrew: I tire bro, at this point they’re just genuinely looking for anything to attack PO. I was expecting them to even bring a pending fraud case or so |
Aldol: Now who’s the one that’s lying
|
Aldol:Who’s the heartless one please? The one that advocated for 60% of new salaries or the one advocating for outright sack of 788 breadwinners? Abi does heartlessness have another meaning in your own dictionary? |
Aldol:The same article you shared clearly stated that he offered 60% from the beginning of the strike but the doctors remained adamant even after he told them the state couldn’t afford to pay 100%. So to you the alternative is to cut short the livelihoods of 788 breadwinners to prove you’re a “strong man”? Sometimes I wish you guys would wake up and come back to reality |
DDayve: Ah be like you never see this updatehttps://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/496172-how-tinubus-daughter-seized-our-goods-shut-down-market-requested-n5-million-official.html
|
Aldol:At the end of the strike PO was one of the few if not the only governor to implement 60% of the proposed new salary scheme. Till today, Doctors and Lecturers in Anambra remain among the highest paid in the country due to PO’s successful efforts at conflict resolution back then, that’s what true leadership is! |
Aldol:Lmao so instead of sitting down to dialogue with the people responsible for saving the lives of your citizens and address their needs the answer is to sack 788 doctors? Even a wild beast can’t be half as heartless as some of you should you get small power . PO has no Godfather and he’s answerable to the people who elected him to work for them unlike Tinubu who believes that he’s doing us a favour by contesting to be president |
CommonSense1967:More on this
|
CommonSense1967:Seen, but he said it there himself chief. Next Intl Ltd was a company formed in 1988 and he left as Chairman of the board before he delved into politics and has had no association with it since. He was offered 15% stake in International Breweries greenfield facility for bringing them to the state but he gave 10% to the state govt and remitted 5% to Next. It’s all there in black and white. He never TOOK those monies it was offered to him for facilitating a deal and one which he never benefited from personally. Now how about this? https://saharareporters.com/2007/10/28/bola-tinubu%E2%80%99s-140-million-v-mobile-deal-exposed-pointblanknewscom |
Aldol: What lies??Lemme send you excerpts from the article you sent cause it’s apparent you didn’t read through, then I’ll send you another article showing you where it was clearly stated that the strike was nationwide. https://allafrica.com/stories/201101070401.html
|
Commentor:He tried to come to an agreement with them which they refused to multiple times, he even tried to increase their salaries which they initially refused as well. What more did you want from him? https://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/11/we-ve-fulfilled-our-agreement-with-ASUU-obi/ |
thebosstrevor1: Elections that were heavily influenced by Tinubu as the owner of Lagos statehttps://pmnewsnigeria.com/2022/06/30/fashola-how-asiwaju-bola-tinubu-discovered-me/?amp=1
|
Aldol:But I’ve presented facts, can you disprove anything I said with your own specific facts. Yes, we know doctors went on strike not just in Anambra but nationwide. What about what I’ve said is not true? |
CommonSense1967:Your link isn’t opening brother
|
thebosstrevor1: Who installed Fashola??
|
CommonSense1967:Can you point me to what family business PO invested the state’s money into? Let’s start from there first then secondly about the money in offshore accounts, that’s not illegal sir and if you understood how financial vehicles worked you’d know that EVERY person of wealth from Zuckerberg to Bezos to Musk to even Ronaldo all try to avoid paying unnecessary taxes which is why they move good sums of money to tax free havens. Till today no case has been presented about him by the EFCC. Secondly, I’m not the one saying that Tinubu owns a 70% share in a ABC that is what Dapo Apara accused BAT of before Tinubu agreed to settle out of court for fear of his underhanded dealings coming to light. I will be attaching pictures and a link as well for your perusal and would be waiting for your evidence on PO’s alleged family business. In the meantime what do you have to say about Tinubu’s unemployed daughters purchasing apartments in New York in cash Shalom brotherhttps://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/419179-tinubu-alpha-beta-others-accused-of-fraud-tax-evasion-money-laundering.html
|
thebosstrevor1:Lmao and this? https://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/05/lagos-sacks-788-striking-doctors/amp/
|
thebosstrevor1:I’m not the one spreading lies here chief, you are lol ![]()
|
Aldol:You do realize that doctors were paid every month that they were on strike same as ASUU right? I have a doctor friend who was working in Anambra at the time that can confirm this and I can bring articles as well. Mind you it was a nationwide strike and their counterparts in Lagos were sacked for striking, what do you have to say about that? |
CommonSense1967:Chief would you agree that it doesn’t make sense first of all to compare Anambra that was decimated during the war and created officially in 1991 to Lagos that was an FCT since time immemorial? Looking at the revenue of Lagos to Tinubu’s performance as governor would you really say he accomplished anything special? Hope you know that every police CP that PO worked with and his ADC were all Northerners so the issue of tribal sentiment doesn’t even cut it if you ask me, also judging from Anambra’s revenue to development ratio even the UN recognized PO for meeting the MDGs set aside for leaders across the world to follow. Besides that fact, look at the antecedents of Tinubu both in and out of office, why is it that once you oppose him or seem to not follow his way of thinking he does everything he can to remove you or frustrate you even at the detriment of the masses? The commonwealth of Lagos for more than a decade has been used to fund one man’s personal ambition and opulent lifestyle of him and his family not to mention the various controversies of fraud, drug related money laundering, paying of million dollar houses abroad in CASH for his daughters and much more, does that tell you that he has the interest of Nigerians at heart? If Lagos were not blessed to have had a seaport and being a former FCT do you think the achievements you cited would have been possible? Lest we forget the same “smart capable hands” you say he identifies have been embroiled in one corruption case or the other numerous times abi is it the case of Alpha Beta where the man credited with founding it revealed that BAT collects as much as 70% of money generated from tax collection? C’mon bro you can do better honestly |
Afamed:Edited you say? ![]() A simple google search would have saved you from embarrassing yourself on this public space sir |
CommonSense1967:No problem at all boss. Hope you’re going to be voting Obi at the polls next year ![]() |
Afamed:Is this the place you called a ghost village lol? If you want to lie about something at least make it something that can’t be easily debunked and disproved. Despite the fact that it’s located in a remote part of the state the level of development that has gone on there is nothing short of commendable, stop selling us fake agenda and propaganda abeg
|
CommonSense1967:Chief I’m telling you that your Igbo friends are either suffering from an inferiority complex or allowing undue pressure from kinfolk get to them which brings me to my next point. The going home for Christmas thing is not necessarily limited to the Igbos alone, it has more to do with the mentality that as someone living in the “city” which they assume means you must be rich then that when coming back you can’t come empty handed. It’s like me saying that Yoruba people are dirty because of the few encounters with unhygienic Yoruba people that I know or that Hausas are not academically inclined which also despite applying to some sets of people can’t be used to generalize a whole tribe. I’m igbo but honestly I was raised in PH, Niger, Imo and Abuja. I don’t do the tribalism thing myself and I know a good number of us that don’t fit into your rhetoric, we can’t be fighting for a better Nigeria and still be fighting each other ontop of baseless and trivial issues like this, shalom brother |
CommonSense1967: Now I know you’re just here capping, there is no place like Agunji in the whole of Anambra not to talk of the East as a whole lmao. And as for the money part, yes I know we can be capitalistic but don’t use the experience of less than 1% of the population of a tribe to generalize unless you have proof. I can personally point you to Igbo families I know who are some hidden billionaires but despite their wealth three of those families have been labeled as “Osus” from the time of their grandparents, why didn’t they use their money to influence those decisions then? If money was so important why couldn’t Arthur Eze or Cosmas Maduka, both billionaires in USD buy kingship titles in their state? What you described might have happened but that is very far from my culture and whoever did that is just plain shameless. Thank you for your contribution sha |
