Car TalkRe: Danfo Drivers/conductors To Wear Uniforms And Badges In Lagos by Ericomoto(m): 4:19pm On Oct 24, 2012
Egba girl: wait so nurses dont wear uniforms? doctors in the US wear uniforms too!!
Some professionals wear uniform but are not compelled under the law to wear or be fined or harrassed except where they are law enforcement agents. But in this case its different. Let him repair all our roads and provide A/C buses then come back to ask all of us to wear uniforms, we will all comply.

bigass: oga you need to read this very well no mention of other professions. you obviously love the chaotic sitution of the land abi? everything na una dey complain
So you think its normal for them to wear uniform? dont you realise they are professionals also in their own rights? they already have taxis, buses, cabs etc painted differently to differentiate them from private ones. The worse to happen is for them have membership registration and ID cards not uniform abeg. Very soon Teachers,Doctors,Ministry workers etc will have uniform too and you will call that Fashola working. I support Fashola but he has simply derailed on this one.

LET'S TRY THIS GAME:
It's called "THE LAST MAN STANDING"
The one who comments last wins, with each WORD that ends ur sentence, the next person to comment will use ur last WORD to start his or her sentence.
Example: "welcome to the game", next person'll start with "GAME" E.g "Game of this sort is for matured minds"
Next person'll start with "MINDS" and so on....

Please if u find out ur comment is not in line with the GAME'S rule, delete and try again.
I'll start with:
Life is a teacher the more we live the more we learn.
Next person should start with "LEARN" Let's go....

PoliticsDo We Still Have Reliable Nigerians/leaders? Suggest Names Please. by Ericomoto(op): 11:09am On Aug 31, 2012
I keep wondering if we still have Nigerians or Nigerian leaders that are reliable and the masses can trust. Each time a new leader emerges and seem to be on track and getting the trust of the masses, then a scandal happens and they lose their credibility example is Lawan Farouk and many others. Does it mean it mean that once there they get carried away or that they got there based on selfish interest? As we again move towards 2015, Please suggest names of credible leaders who can be trusted and with their brief profile if possible.

PoliticsRe: Curbing Boko Haram Crisis; What Is Your Advice For Gej And Government? by Ericomoto(op): 8:04am On Dec 15, 2011
I have this personal conviction inside of me that these Boko Haram people are not more than 4 or 5 people running this secret affairs. They only engage some shallow minded fellows and entice them with money to run their errands and carry out their dastardly acts. Just like MEND who were just 3 or 4 brothers and the moment they were caught, MEND ceased to be. I am not rulling out the fact that they may have financial back up from top politicians and elites as in the case of MEND, but their network is not far spread only within the north that is why they have not been able to carry out their operations in the south which would have being their major target.

If intelligence can fish one of these pple then Boko Haram becomes a history.

As far as I am concerned, there is already war in Nigeria or cant you see?
Bomb blast every other day killing innocent souls,
So much poverty in the midst of plenty,
Tokunbo goods is our national pride because they seem more original than the new ones even in price,
Policitians are only about their self enrichment,
Youths are unemployed and the drones of graduates are unbaked.
WAR! WAR!! WAR!! is already on unless it will get worse.

Here in greater port harcourt we have electricity at least every other night from 1am to 5am
Only at Night when load usage would have reduced drastically? the few hours we get electricity here too is at around this same period and that is why I wonder what happened to the 4000mw claimed generated.
Anyone with a better understanding of PHCN to educate us.

That is incredible. How is the electricity distributed then?

tiniyata:
in my area in delta state, there has been light since sunday till now and it just went off only twice and it comes back on almost immediately. But our electric wires are our problems here as they cut easily. In some other parts of delta there's stil power problem too. So i guess is the area
I hope you dont experience the crazy billings anyway? or are you on prepaid meter?

How is light around where you live?
PoliticsWhere Goeth The 4000mw Of Electricity? by Ericomoto(op): 9:53am On Nov 30, 2011
On paper our government is insisting PHCN is generating well above 4000MW of electricity in Nigeria. I live in Lagos around Gbagada and in the last 2 months I have not enjoyed light for 2 hours in a day. I leave my house 6am and get back home 7pm, and within the remaining hours of each day, PHCN only restore electricity sometimes between 1am and 2am when it will not be useful for enyone and this has been the routine for sometime now.

The most annoying part is that I pay 6k electricity bill every month even under this same condition which I have revolted severally but nothing has changed as they keep ripping me off without any service rendered.

I learnt PHCN staff were on strike for some 3 days about 2 weeks ago, but the strike made no difference as far as nigerians are concerned, PHCN is on strike everyday. Now Nigerians, how is light in your area? if it is the same situation as mine then where goeth the light? where goeth the 4000MW and where are they distributed to?
