CBN lifted the ban, deposits of foreign currencies will be lodged at individual accounts and will be reported to CBN. There will be much flow of foreign currencies within the next few weeks whereby bank enable banks to have enough currencies in their foreign reserve to be able to perform foreign transactions for customers. This means, they will soon have dollars to give to travellers for BTA, Form A transactions as well as form M transactions at their own rates. Meaning the bank will sell to you. That's why if you goto the Bank, at their walk in screen, you will see- "We buy......." "we Sell". So things go soon better! bhanjjie: Hey guys, I think the CBN only lifted foreign currency cash deposit. Other restrictions still remain. |

Your documents were sent to Pretoria. The Regional Office for Lagos and Abuja is Kenya. If you check the document properly, you will find Lagos underneath the Kenya. That does not mean your docs went to Kenya. The database they are using for operation is from under Nairobi Jurisdiction. For Example, an Army Brigade Headquarters in Benin Covers for 5 Divisions. Police Zone 5 covers 5 States Police HQ, where 5 Commissioners reports to the AIG. I happened to be the AIG in Nairobi . Nor worry joor. Your docs will get to Pretoo b4 the end of the week. kennethagada: hello friends, i lodge my Australian visa application at Teleperformance yesterday, but instead of directing my visa application to south Africa it was directed to Australian embassy in Nairobi Kenya. Abeg i neva hear any person call Nairobi here ooo. wot could be possible course for deviation to Nairobi and my medicals was sent to pectorial not Nairobi. I my covered? |

@Bellong,
Thanks so much for your inputs in this house, even with your busy schedule in Oz, you still find time to help ppl. It's very nice of you.
The problem now is, if you goto the Bank, they will tell you that Forex is not working to supply dollar or something like that, it's a grammar just to tell you that form "A" will not fly.
The CBN Governor is not doing anything about it, instead, the guy is helping politicians and Business tycoons. He recently promised to assist Dangote flawlessly to enhance forex trades for his Oil Refinery investments.
Some top politicians are calling for his removal. |

Yes, you can switch courses while in same Sch. If you intend switiching to another Sch, you must have studies upto 6months into your Principle Course. This option is best. Make sure you do a program that is inline with your Qualification. Rafaela4u: I will also like to confirm if its possible to enroll for a masters program like Masters in leadership and management which is related to my course within the same institution that is also offering socal work so as to aid me acquiring student visa without denial.
Once I obtain my visa, I intend ti travel to Australia two to three weeks before school resumes but my question is will it be possible for me to switch to masters in social work within the same institution before resumption.
Please your response will be highly appreciated. |

Enrol for a program that is related to Communication or International Business. You can switch once you are in Oz. Rafaela4u: I am new on this forum and must commend you guys are really doing a great work, keep it up. Please I will like to clarify few information from d house that will guide me in applying for my masters program in Australia.
I studied international relations as my first degree, ve been working in d telecommunication industry for d past two years as a customer care representative and will like to enroll for masters in social work in Australia. My question is what are my chances of getting student visa since my course is not related to social work and didn't acquire any experience in the field. |

That was an old application. And I have said it over and over again the reason for refusal, besides am no longer applying for Nursing. I am using a different pathway. I only brought the example of my application for reference sake. Ok, 2posh misunderstood me, I previously applied for Nursing, that's what I was trying to tell her. The reason for refusal was Bcus my MD was not able to be contacted, he travelled for a Business Seminar during that period and I didn't put future Employment Letter, the CO said no prove of future employment and they were unable to contact my employer. That's just it, it has passed. Thanks 2post and Alaoeri for your contributions that time Pretoria never wicked like now, I can't dare Nursing now, it's even too stressful. Disability, Age Care and Community Services as well as Social Works are the best Pathway for my Current Occupation. alaoeri: Ericktack203 try to reason along with 2posh, any case officer will raise an eyebrow against your application despite your claim being genuine. Don't expect a CO doing a research of what your company is deeply into & the world logistics ain't related to nursing. Studying nursing & coming back to pickup a job in a logistics firm will sound somehow even if its genuine, address this in your SOP. |

You seem not to understand. That Company has healthcare professionals, as well as pharmacists, public health analysts, environmental analysts. You cannot engage in healthcare logistics if you don't have the relevant licencing and personnel. For example: someone that supplies books from publishers must have knowledge in library and information sciences or related. Another example is an NGO: which is into health logistics must have healthcare practitioners, you will not even get the licence to operate if you don't. Someone that supplies diary products must have knowledge in farming. Health Logistics, the Company has site Nurses, HSE officers and so on, who looks after the welfares of employees and Community services. The company is into healthcare consultations, pharmaceuticals, disability services and so on. Logistics is vast, Logistics entails movements, planning, provision, supervision, supplies, health, Safety. Without safety, goods and services cannot be delivered, without proper health of staffing, labour cannot be executed, without health experience, health and pharmaceutical services cannot be provided. Give and example of "income electrix" a West Africa Company that supplies electrical and logistics services to PHCN and Intels, the have many engineers that are into electrical big time. You supply arms, you must have arms engineers and armoury experts, and you must also have an Armoury to properly store your arsenals. My emphasis may be a little vast for you, but I hope you understand. 2posh: That right there is the issue ...but you can take it or leave it
A Nurse is a caregiver. According to Wikipedia - Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life.
According to the web-link you provided, the company does this(I'm quoting the statement on the homepage) - Sandrick Health Logistics engage in supply and procurement of health care materials, safety materials, first aid materials, pharmaceutical logistics services, logistics support services, warehouse management, transport management, equipment leasing and general contracts.
Take note of the parts in bold.
Even the job role you stated above says it all. That ain't Nursing.
You'll go study to be a caregiver, but plan to come back to work in supply and procurement? You wont be a nurse on the job 'cos in that job role, you won't be giving injections or setting up IV fluids or wiping butts or assisting Doctors in surgery which is what nurses do among other things. Instead, you'll be procuring and supplying equipment - albeit health equipment, along with other kinds of equipment and doing general contracts(according to your website) Nurses don't do any of that.
It just doesn't add up. They are two different areas of focus.
Again, you can take it and work on it or leave it |
