Don't add bank Statement. And don't forget to include a Letter of future employment from your current employer. Your Visa will fly. EEAA: Hello great people, thanks for your help so far. Please i need your advice again. I'm planning to lodge my application next week but my agent (BCIE- BRITISH COUNCIL) insists that i have to submit bank statement worth between #6 and 7m despite opening their eyes to number 42 & 43 on the application form. Please what's your advice? I'm thinking of sending the application on my own or using another agent. I'm going for master of Nursing (i studied Nursing at school of Nursing and University) I have received my CoE about two months ago and i have a landed property bearing my name and my husband's. I currently work in the nursing department of a university and I've worked for about 7 years as a nurse in primary health care. I intend to include both employment letters in my application and i have a dependant (my 3 years old daughter). I need your advice please. Thank you in anticipation. |

What was the content of the email you sent to them? I remember telling ppl that applied for their Visas on this thread to be guided when contacting pretoria. Though, you don't have to be scared as the email you got was from the General Secretary in-charge of Visa enquiries. Emails are to be sent to: immigration.pretoria@dfat.gov.au Email is to be sent only when the standard processing time has passed for your application. If you keep sending unnecessary emails, you will keep having unnecessary response. Pretoria is currently experiencing heavy lumps of Visa applications and it's making it to take time for Visa processing. Most SVPS are now 6-7weeks since August. The person that replied you is not your CO and doest know the AL you are in, you were just classified as AL3 because you applied from AL3 country. chi50: my people pls I need advice. I recently applied for my svp 573 visa. I sent an email to Pretoria yday asking for my application status and/or acknowledgement letter. I got a response this morning.
Good day, Please note that processing time for AL3 student visa applications is three months, you cannot import student visa applications on to an immi Account.
Regards DIBP
Please our experienced members, lawland, futuredon, Erictack n Co. Please wat should I do? How do i correct them that I'm for svp not AL3. I didn't include any bank statement in my application. should I reply their mail as nd tell them? Please I await ur response |

1. She will complete the form and package it to submit at Teleperformance, Lagos or Abj. 2. Total fee for Visa is 95k. 3. Check: www.border.gov.au, search for Student Visa checklist. And download checklist for documents relating to Student Visa application. chevchenko: Many thanks@Erictack203
Chi50 just read my mind on the next question
Is she going to post the form or upload it somewhere?
What other docs do we need to start gathering right now?
Thanks a lot...I really appreciate

1. Fill the CoE request form and put : DIBP, Pretoria, South Africa. 2. Once you get your COE, goto: www.border.gov.au and search for Student Visa form 157a, download it from there, fill and submit. 3. Your sister if the School didn't request IELTS from her prior to admission/CoE, she doesn't need it for Visa purpose as well. I hope you are well answered. chevchenko: Hello Guys,
I will like to make some inquiries. My Sister applied to the University of Western Sydney (M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering), She was offered admission and we have paid the tution, we requested for certificate of enrollment (CoE) of which we already put Nigeria as the visa office. See response from school:
"Thank you for your acceptance to Western Sydney University. To enable us to issue your coe please advise which office you be lodging your visa application from. You have indicated on the acceptance documents that you are applying for your visa in Nigeria, there is NO DIBP office in Nigeria. Your coe request will be on hold until you advise above information"
This let to our discovery that there are lots of things we don't even know, we got to know that South Africa is the Visa office. I checked the SA site and couldn't even see any forms!
Now what I need, is guidance from anybody that has passed through this phase recently.
1. How do we apply? 2. What documents do we need? 3.Does She need to do IELTS? 4. Any other info that will be of help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot Chevy |

Ok boss, You are right, it's not a major requirement. It's just additional requirement and not formally required by the DIBP. Most ppl got their Visas adding this though. lawland: If this is not asked for in your checklist, please don't do it. I strongly believe that this people care more about your GTE than your financial ability. If ever there is doubt about your financial ability, they will ask you to provide any document they wish to see. Stating that you have access to enough fund to fund your studies is enough. STICK TO YOUR CHECKLIST!!! except you really got this money in your account or your parents account and you want to show off. Imagine you state that your brother or sister or parents got this money and they ask for evidence and you show a statement of account with different surname. |
Travel › Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by erictack203(m): 12:01pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
This is only an additional requirement, it's not paramount. Most ppl that were granted Visas used this format, I got it from a Migration Lawyer. But it's not important you must add it. Do a good SOP.

My Brother, Good morning. I hope The part of adding the name of your Potential Sponsor won't make the CO require for more evidence (Sponsor's Letter or an Affidavit) from the Sponsor(e.g. Father or whoever)?[/quote] |

These ppl are changing Immigration rules by day by day. any1 that has oz in mind should act fast. I am facing mine in 2 flanks, study and PR. scrollmeout: Morning folks,
Just woke up to see that DIBP has reverted to holding 2 invitation rounds per month(every two weeks). The draws are no longer held on the Mondays but now on Wednesdays.
The numbers of 189 monthly invitations have also dropped from 2300 to 2000, while 489 has also declined to just 40.

I will be in Lagos on Wednesday for the Australian Govt Meeting holding 24th, 25th and 26th at Ikeja. If you are in Lag, I can preview your docs b4 you submit to teleperformance. That is if you are not sure of your application package. Student Visa process with pretoria is a little tricky these days. they are becoming serious with SVP applicants. Thats y you see ppl here on NL laying more emphasis of strong SOP. chi50: Thanks, I am working in a hospital and my reference letter just says I work with them n nothing else. I will definitely do as advised here to avoid complications. So wat did u tick in their checklist regarding bank verification document, I saw that in teleperformance list. |

All SVP applicatns don't need Statement. Just declare you have funds to cover yourself and sign on a plane sheet of paper, typed. I have done this for over 50ppl for Aussie Visa applicatn and they got their grantss. Wish u luck. chi50: . :-XHello house, please I knw dis question is old but I still will like to know. Do people actually get visa thru svp without bank statement? if Yes, how common is it. If you say so, I will totally agree with you. Form A is safer, though it takes upto 5days maximum. Then u get the Swift copy and sent to the School as payment evidence. laminaria: am actually a guy, most people make u of bank tranfer via formA....i used too,..and beside i tink is more safer n better, u know sometimes am personally afraid of this online transaction due to network or hackers (boys on keyboard)but i know couple of guys that used as well |

How does your Sch payment made, is it online payment or u send them card details to make deductions? Form A takes upto 5days with the new rules and a little complicated. Card payments are best. ewagbamio: @2posh that was quite informative!will call my account officer to get more details. I hope an individual can request that his own limit be raised. the school actually mentioned that if the daily limit is exceeded, they'll make multiple deductions to make up the total, but still 1000daily limit is just way too small.
the form A option is beginning to look more attractive
@erictack2003 It's Ecobank, why did you ask? |
