Your new Passport carries your expired Passport number for reference, check it you will see.

You are using your new Passport to Travel, all documents in the old Passport still remains valid.

It's not a big deal. Just do the contact and they will advice and update your details in their database.

Hello E- Fam.
I need your advice on what to do on this situation.
I applied for a new passport and I got it the next day as my old passport will expire in May, 2016 (6 months from now). The issue now is I got my visa grant with my old passport while the new passport has a different number. Now, I have both passport with me but the the pages left on my old passport have been cancelled. The immigration officer said I can't hold 2 passports so he cancelled all the pages left in the old passport but I still have the two with me. Fam I hope I won't have any problem with all these changes at the point of entry and do I need to contact DIBP office in Pretoria. Pls I need y'all response. 2posh, Eric, Chi05, futuredon etc

Which website? Is it a particular School website or DIBP website. I know tafe NSW suspended SVP for 9ja applicants sometime ago but it has been lifted. Scrollmeout pls respond.

572 SVP takes 3-4weeks. You will hear from them soon, did you frontload Medicals? Also, what about Employment contacts? Hope they are intact? DIBP verifies Employment. Also, print your SOP, your CV, your Family Details and DOB. They may call you for interview.

They mostly call employers to verify.

That information is a Hoax, SVP regime is ending on the 30 June 2016 for the Simplified Student Visa Framework to come in place (SSVF).

SVP or SSVF is not tagged to a particular country, it's a law by the government of Australia on how Student Visas are processed in several flanks of Classification.

Nigeria is not the only Country that has high risk of assessment classification, Infact, Nigeria is classified as AL3, while other Countries like India, Pakistan, Iraq etc are classified as AL5.

So if the "classified information" is ending SVP for Nigerian Students in Jan 2016, what happens to India and the other Countries that are classified as AL5?

In a nut shell, I would say the so called SVP by Australian Government is not even in practice in Pretoria: the meaning of SVP is Streamlined Visa Processing whereby an applicant's Visa application will be processed using reduced evidentory documents, yet pretoria will call some Students demanding for Bank Statements, some will be denied Visa that they is no Future Employment Evidence, no this evidence and no that evidence your employer could not be reached and so on.

[/b] My Candid advice for the house is that any1 applying as a Student should be prepared for anything that may be requested from Pretoria, while others got lucky, apply as if you are under AL3, provide as much as many evidence as you can to show that you will return to Nigeria at the end of your program, and you will be fine, 20percent of applicants are being asked of Bank Statement depending on their personal circumstances (Am talking of SVP applicants).[b]

This new program is proportionate to your previous application.

What you need is a good SOP outlining your future prospects on completion of your program. Again, when writing your SOP, try to outline some of the facts previously used on your previous SOP.

Try to link the both programs on your SOP and elaborate it to your present education and career prospects as well as your future plans on completion of your program and return to Nigeria. You will be fine.

They may be a problem! Your uncle has to transfer the said funds to your Account and you should state the Spnsorship and the Cooprative has to write a Letter. Don't forget that the funds should be in your Account.

Your Uncle is not allowed to sponsor you.

My uncle is the president . He's my sponsor but he's using the coperative union society account . Now, what kind of relationship can I write in the letter that connects me to the society on why they want to sponsor me .. E.g, like scholarship or something . Do you have any experience like this , please ?

If your Cooprative has a website, they will check, and also any document that can be helpful. In some cases, you may be requested to present a CAC document to verify the exsitence of the Cooprative. Also, most cooporative do have accounts with other Commercial Banks. If such Statement can also be added to your application it will be helpful.

Yes for sure, NYSC is part of training and work exp, so yes it's part of your work history.

Check the reason for his denials. Australian Embassy don't value unlinked Company sponsorship. He didn't explain his relationship or link with the Company thus the denial.

I have a comment on no 3, I'm not saying you're wrong but I know someone that was denied visa and one of the reason is that in his school application he said his father is his sponsor and while applying for visa he wrote company sponsorship, he wasn't elaborate to let them know that the dad is the company director. My opinion is that they share some information

Answer: there is no problem with the amount on your offer of employment, 30k can do, they just want to know if your work history is proportunate to your proposed program/career prospects.

2) like I asked before not like I ask too much question. can I use an affidavit to back the mistake made in my name in my employment offer letter and promotion letters. and can I also state the mistake and the affidavit back up in my SOP: Answer: I would advice that you get your Office to do the correction, affidavit might raise an eyebrow.

3) does/can ones educational provider share informations with the Pretoria visa office. for example.. if I want to change the CV in which I submitted for admission and anoda for visa application. can it be possible. Answer: School and Protoria has no sharing, School only shares your address and academic information to pretoria after your visa has been granted, also, Pretoria can verify your eCoE only from a common link in Australia Department of Education database.

Submission of application - Friday the 9th of Oct. 2015. Teleperformance said the application would get to Pretoria the following Monday(12th) and so I should expect the outcome in 2 weeks starting from that day. But according to the Visa grant letter, my application was actually received at Pretoria on Wednesday the 14th of October. Go figure...

‎Visa grant - Today : Thurs‎day the 29th of Oct. 2015 . There was no phone interview or email requesting any additional information or document from me before the grant.

‎Medicals were preloaded. Evidence of polio vaccination was included in application packet.

I did not include Transcripts in my Visa application but I included my Degree Certificate(certified copy).
I did not submit bank statements or funding/sponsorship letter and did not show any evidence of home ties like land ownership, waiting job offer etc but my SOP was 3 solid typewritten pages!(including citations/references that took up half of the last page). I had a lot of explaining to do. No be small thing! ‎
***If you are writing a similarly lengthy SOP depending on your situation, as someone previously said, make sure it's NOT boring!***‎

Also, I did not state any salary figure in the application form. (As a sales person, I get paid a basic salary + commission so it's hard to pin down a particular figure as salary since it varies based on performance). So, what I did was to write junior/mid/senior level as applicable, and then I included copies of my offer letters, promotion letters and pay-slips to show my earnings.

I did not mention any of this before(for those that asked), for fear of misleading someone but now that it seems to have worked, I hope it helps someone that may be in a similar position. However, be sure to tread with caution and back everything up with serious prayers(and fasting if you can)...or whatever works for you.‎
