It's stated here in the early part of this thread that Education in Australia is expensive and Students are advised not to stick on part-time Jobs to make life or pay fees in Oz, you must need help from home in addition to your little money you make in Oz. Thanks to Bellong! Triggeredsam: you see what ama saying 14k for a 3months teaching period (one semester) so times by semester of course...
Worst aspect is that partime job can't even be enough to survive on when ur in the expensive town or regions... More to talk of paying fees... Then u will fail to abide by your visa rules ohhh that na trouble when you start missing classes... And eventually pay when u fail a course and apply for repeat... Bro and sis one gots to use his head here... No matter how u work bro the employer will like to take advantage of u.. Some will pay less for a job because u got no option than to take it since your on a red line.. And people here in nija will be expecting you to come and rebuild ur village road and award scholarship...lol but they no know say man d sqat with 40yrs old woman just for p.r ... My people all this na Gods intervention.. |

ACU refunded the whole fund, I vex take am buy Jeep, lol. But thanks to Mrlinobrawn, my friends in Darwin and Melbourne who said I must come to Oz, that it's far better compared to 9ja. So that's y I gave it a 2nd tut, trust me it's really annoying when they reject you a Visa for flimsy excuse, esp when you have the right intention to Study. Everything about Nursing Studies in Oz is not easy, even the medicals, you pay very high and do a lot of Medical tests, if you no get heart self you fit collapses, when others are doing normal medicals, you will be doing XYZ test (Nurseafrica knows what I mean by this) H-A, H-B, H-C, TB, etc, and comes out negative in all, with all docs and circumstances cleared and intact, as well as heavy fees being paid. One C/O will just carelessly refuse you. So you can imagine the Anger, I have learnt many things from my application as well as other ppl's own, so anyway I can help ppl to get their positive grant and have a good life in Oz, I will be happy to do it, whether mine scales through or not. nurseafrica: Jesus 14K dolls, O boy that's really heavy, these OZ guys, hmmmmm, so have the school refunded your fees and OSHC, or what other correspondence did you have wt the school. Plz ur the boss I doff my hat 4 you. |

Sadly I don't have a degree like others here. I have a Bteh Level5 HND from Edexcel(UK) in Health Logistics. I also have some qualifications in 1st Aid, Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Fighting and fire prevention, etc, short courses. I then applied in addition to my waec for Nursing. I paid a total of 14k dollars including OSHC. So it's not about the money, it's about meeting all their requirements. nurseafrica: Do u have a Bsc is in another field or it direct from O level. Was Ecoe part of your support documents, I ask cos that means you paid some good money as fees cos Bnsc is very expensive and would have added some good cash to their economy ref to CHAIRMAN TIGGERERdsam opinion that 573 courses adds enough money to their economy and so gets enough Grants |

@Nurse: Triggerdsam made the sense here on his quotes, he may seem funny at times but if you dig dipper into his quotes, you will find senses and answer thereoff. The Pretoria people are using real life issue to classify GTE, you can wonder at times that someone of 34-35yrs will get a 572 Visa granted over someone of 25-27yrs as the case may be. It's simple: check it, you applied for an Advanced Diploma 572 program, you are 32-35( they will analyse) for all those years of your life, you finished School 10yrs ago, you have some apprentice certificates of learning some courses that are inline with your intended program, you have been working(evidence) you have achieved some like landed properties, married etc. Such person will be seen as a Genuine and serious Student. (all should be with verifiable evidence). 2. Finished Secondary School at the age of 26-27yrs but has previous records of training, work and apprehenticship that is inline with your program (without marriage). This is also fine. 3. Finished Secondary School b/w 16-20, no marriage, only siblings and parents. Straight grant. 4. Finished University 25-30yrs, NYSC done, no work exp, no marriage, only parents and Siblings. Going for Masters (Fine for Grant). 5. Finished secondary School at the age of 24-27, no work, no marriage, no children. Refused! 6. Finished University 2yrs and above ago, no work, no marriage, no children, declaring parents as hometie, Refused! Some may be lucky. 7. Finished Secondary School at old age, less than 1yrs work exp, no evidence of marriage or past work exp or achievements, no evidence of long term sickness that put u in bed for long. Refused! In a nut shell, GTE is accessed by a Case by Case applicants' personal circumstances. I think that's it, we learn everyday. No one is perfect. You guys should know that I was refused, giving that I met all the above circumstances, I forgot to add evidence of future Employment, my CO didn't call/mail to request additional docs I was rejected based on the fact that: "I note you are employed and you stated that your Company will re-hire you upon return and completion of your program, however, no evidence of this. We were unable to verify your employment contact, I therefore refuse your application". (My MD was in Ankara Turkey for a Business Seminar as at that time and his numbers were the contacts on my CV) tadaaaaa!!! Naso dem take bounce me. So it's better one add every evidence that is disposable at the Time of their application Bcus the CO may not ask. God bless you all. Triggeredsam: My dear na prayers ohhhh... If u marry they go say u d try cari ur family go better country... And they will ask how they will be feeding when u leave if ur the only bread winner Due to the poor economic state of your country.. And the latest disobeying of court orders.. If you no marry they go say you no get reason to come back... I don tire ohhh.. And the fact that nija is level three holds all except if your course is going to pomp up to 8million Naira in the next 2yrs then they go know say you are a serious student...-- if u defer your course according to a guru.. I dey wonder the reason why that will be possible exception in the case that the reason is beyond human intervention... And you will be scrutinized wela.... Secondly they rank your age bracket according to your level of study... For instance 18-23 of age arr expected for 572 and 573, and 24 to Methuselah are expected for 573 and phd..over there each age bracket have they level of study. On a contral base if ur in the age bracket of 573 and ur opting for a 572 YOU SHOULD HAVE A SOLID WORKING EXPERIENCE u can't just be doing nothing from 18 that it was assumed over there that u left ur parents till 26 or 27 that your opting for 572.. And the funny aspect is that if they deny your visa it will not increase there salary and if they grant u...it will not increase they salary. Now they are introducing ssvp...they school that will be in level one and two are the expensive schools wollongong griffith unsw name them and the ones that will be in level 3-4 will be the ones we love to go.college.. For instance earn an advance diploma in engineering score 75 in pte plus the origianl or fake work experice u have that u used in securing ur visa and I will see u score 80 in your subclass 189 and there is ur p.r what the heck will I be pomping 14,000×4 just for p.r and ur paid pennies for job over there.. Not that ur even skilled here no handiwork wee I sabi..then I go come dey sleep with person of my mama age just for p.r Am just saying thatbAugustine was judged base on his chances of p.r nothing more My two cents.. |

I am looking forward to the new SSVF regime, where all subclasses for Students will be merged.
I believe this will favour Nigerians and sentiments will not be attached to a particular Visa Sub-class while applying. Everyone has right to Education and no one should be sidelines or judged base on guesswork because of the type of Subclass.
They themselves in Australia don't even do Bsc or Msc in most cases, na Certificate II, III and IV them take de work.
Things will be better! |

Nice one my brother! Triggeredsam: Definitely they will grant 573 visas because that's pumping a huge amount of money into there education system.... But I pity people who can be lured to Australian university over a course of 40,000aud. 30,000 etc Well I can't judge but believe me the agents will not open ur eyes to see the real thing about Australia allbthey want is they 4-7000aud commission. When u get to the school...u will start having immigration problems..when ur in d rope to pay upto 14,000aud as fees withing 4months of leaving here... I will not say much about this there are still the rich dudes who have d money sitting on the lounge. I guess 90% of our selves here are looking for p.r for better future of children's children and our selfs. But well who am I to judge just scared as a normal human being will be cos am under 572...I believe I have different destiny and line of action just like our faces are different from each other.. My agent said Nigeria now has a 60% visa denial rate due to what Nigerian over there are equally doing... Mesmerizing things for our future Nigerian students.. It pains me a lot that we are suffering what a brainless idiots must have selfishly done few years back just to ride range rover.. They inline actions was due to the fact that Pfl,bcie and other agents companies fail to ask there students how they intend paying upto 10,000aud in 3months gap... That's when they realize that 573 gets u to Australia but staying there is another thing cos the options of switching to lower course is a problem and remaining in oz is now a headache... This piece was written in anger.. What ever that goes with it fine |

On Monday all Schools in Australia resumes. You will re-apply, you will fight it, no hopes lost trust me bro, you will get it, investing in Education creates new room for open doors and opportunities and International Education is an avenue to meet Students and share lights of experience from different races as well as tourism in addition to learning of new things. This is something not possible in Nigeria, thus our quest to invest towards international education. So, it doesn't matter the course you are to studying, it's your right to obtain quality and better education, giving the current disparities in the Nigerian Education system, flawed with lack of Study facilities and incessant strike actions by University Lecturers here and there. It will be fine. No worries. STAugustineOf13: Ok no.P I flashed him to Come online twice, no much Airtime for that call. But it seems like he's busy or something. he will reply when he sees my Message.
It's me against Time. never think I can meet up with this february Intake anymore. even if I re-applies. There is March Intake, BUT It's under Agent. and not in SOL...(Business Administration) Although a man got to do what a man got to do. to beat this SVP and upcoming SSVP Gee! If God no fit answer this, I don't know what else he can answer bro!!
Tired of Nigeria for sure. |

I have pmed you, the decision made on your application was careless and baseless: 1. All applicants must not be married to be able to obtain quality Education. 2. Age is not a barrier in Education and shouldn't be. 3. The date of your School completion is not bad at all, giving the age of your completion, there is no Study gap, which means, your academic circumstances is within the GTE assessment scale. 4. You have verified OSHC and valid CoEs and has made the relevant payments. In conclusion, the decision made on your application is not fair and I believe a Sentiment was made base on your Subclass and Country of Origin. You have a brighter chance of reapplying and amend the slim areas in which your refusal was based: 1. The future benefit of your program to you (you must convince the case officer that this program will benefit you in future). 2. Your return to Nigeria upon completion of your program (you remember I mentioned this to you sometime ago). 3. You should convince the C/O why you have chosen to study in Australia rather than your own Country. 4. If you have funds, I will recommend that you apply for 573/ else you will need an Migration Agent and a Qualified Educational Agent (Registered with the Migration Agents Regulation Authority of Australia). You will be fine, you have good chances. STAugustineOf13: I don't know how to send PM in this forum, 1st send...for me to locate it. I lodged on 19th of November at Teleperformance. no medicals though. |
